Backstory: Inna is the second youngest sibling in his family. He has two older sisters, an older brother and a younger sister.

As the youngest son in the family, Inna was definitely a mama's boy, that was until she had died of cancer when he was a teenager. After that happened, it seemed as if everything was going downhill quickly for Inna.

Inna had caught the cancer his mother had, but his was caught quick enough to where they just had to do Chemo Therapy and get his left arm amputated. This happening when he was 17.

After that, Inna kept to himself mostly. His father had stopped taking care of him and his younger sister, Manya. Which left to him and his older brother, Koloda, to take care of Manya. His eldest sister, Vasilisa had taken his other sister, Ksenia, with her and moved away from the family. Koloda and Inna had their father enter a home for older people and the two took care of Manya. Manya and Inna doing school online.

After he got his chemotherapy, Inna wanted to end his life, as he felt that it was unfair that he got to live cancer free now, and got to survive, while his mother died. He circled the date on his personal calendar in his room. And when that day came, he had slit his wrist open as much as possible but was found by Koloda.

Also during his teenage years, he would go out and party a lot, despite what Koloda would tell him. Inna wanted to live life to it's fullest after he got cancer. Especially as he's afraid it will come back.

Inna had eventually got enough money from his work and with Koloda's help to get him enrolled into college for becoming a diagnostics doctor.

Personality: Equipped with a dry and acerbic sense of humor, Inna is enigmatic and conceals many facets of his personality with a veneer of sarcasm. He appears and sometimes himself claims to be narcissistic, and appears to have a disdain for most people. The only people he actively shows he cares about are Koloda and Manya. Inna is an atheist and a nihilist. Despite his cynicism, he does seem to care about his colleagues to a certain extent and while considering them "idiots" is able to sometimes put aside his pride and apologize when he has offended them in a particularly sardonic fashion. Inna is a total maverick and has drug addictions and loves to party. When at home he will get himself high or stoned to make the phantom pains go away. Has an obsession with solving medical cases. Inna hides most of his emotions behind his ever-present snide and witty comebacks. He receives a lot of flak for coming off as unsympathetic towards his patients and for being relatively unmoved by anything that occurs in the hospital. Inna will also make very self deprecating jokes about himself and about how he wants to die. (It's how he copes with everything). He has made the joke "Five is a crowd" and deemed it as a sex joke, but in actuality, these are the words Vasilisa told him the day she left with Ksenia. He's constantly dealing with phantom pains from his missing arm. No matter what he does, they don't seem to go away. He likes to get drunk a lot but will never go into work drunk. On his days off he likes to go over and check on Manya and Koloda. He has a deep rooted love for his brother and sister and wants nothing but the best for the two of them. Once he knows Manya is off and well and living her best life, Inna plans to kill himself. He has slept around with both men and woman alike. Despite constantly being on Hycodan, Inna is still immensely good at his job and it doesn't interfere with his work. When around people he's very close to, he is a teasing person and purposely tries to get under their skin.

Relationships: Volodya Kuzmin - Dad - Very strained relationship. After putting him in the caretaker facility, Inna hasn't spoken to him. Amaliya Petrov - Mom - Inna absolutely loved his mother and was a downright mama's boy. He was absolutely devastated when her life began to deteriorate and when she died. He always has a special place for her in his heart. Vasilisa - Oldest sister. Absolutely despises her for leaving. He hasn't heard from her in over 7 years. Koloda - Older brother. They have a good relationship. Koloda constantly worries about both Inna and Manya, even sometimes being paranoid. Inna is the only one that can get the other to calm down and listen to, even if it's also by insulting him. Ksenia - Older sister. They had an okay relationship. He didn't see much of her after he was diagnosed with his cancer and the next thing he knew, Vasilisa was leaving and taking Ksenia with her. Manya - Younger sister. They have a great relationship. Inna is Manya's favorite brother. He tries to get her whatever she wants (he even got her tickets to a Comic Con once). He wants to help her get into drawing and animation. Manya is also Inna's favorite person in the world. Natalya Styopa - Boss. They have a complicated relationship. Inna will make sexual comments to her and about her. He will convince her to let him do tests she normally wouldn't let someone do on patients without proof of needing it done. She admires him for his medical skills. Tolya Nikifor - Best friend. Head of Oncology. He admires Inna for his medical skills. Cares deeply about Inna (platonically). Has a codependent relationship with each other. Tolya is also an enabler, as he helps Inna keep in stock of his Hycodan. He also helps Inna get out of trouble. Though, Tolya isn't exactly a pushover and will fight back against Inna if it becomes absolutely necessary. One time while helping Inna get out of a situation with a woman Inna had picked up, Tolya had pretended to be gay with Inna. Ulyana Irinei - Immunologist - Diagnostic Medical team member. Ulyana used to have a crush on Inna, but never let that interfere with her work. Inna was aware of her crush on him. They went on one date before and nothing else happened between them. Yermolai Leonty - Neurologist - Diagnostic Medical team member. Inna is the most hard on Yermolai, as the two are very similar in personality. Inna also has great respect for him but would never admit it out loud. Ilariy Artem - Diagnostic Medical team member - Surgeon. Out of everyone on the team, he's the most comfortable with kids, and just wants to help and make sure they turn out alright. He can also talk to kids on their level. A deductive reasoner. Despite with how much Inna likes to berate Ilariy, Inna has immense respect for him but wouldn't admit that out loud.
