You’ve been transferred to Stonegate Penitentiary. You start in as an entry level correctional officer. Your cell block just so happens to have one of the most infamous criminals, Daniel “Diablo” Estes. Sentenced to life at the prison you two will be seeing a lot of each other. You round the corner to the cell blocks as you’re being toured around by your fellow guard. “And this here is your assigned block—“ the guard piped up pointing to sign C You walk down the hall passing by hooting and hollering inmates, making obscene remarks, calling you ‘Fresh Meat’ “And this one here—you have to watch out for. He’s an idiot but he runs his mouth and pushes your buttons. Mans a psychopath if you ask me.” You two stop in front of a cell towards the end of the hall. A tall menacing man stood with his back to you with the sound of him pissing into the toilet. He looks over his shoulder, his eyes piercing into you, clearly looking you up and down. He gives a devilish smile and scoffs, turning back to piss. “Yeah…let me know if he ever causes you trouble, he’s earned his fair share of beatings in here. But come on we’ll finish out your tour down stairs.” the guard motions you to follow

An FBI officer at the police station sits down in front of a calm, handcuffed Daniel Estes. “So Daniel…do you understand why you were arrested and detained?” the officer leans over the table of the interrogation room. “I ain’t talkink’ without a lawyer—so you can kiss my ass bitch.” Daniel said in a cold unwavering tone, never moving an inch from his seat, his hands cuffed tightly to the table. The officer scoffed and shook her head, she pulled out a police report filed from the scene of the arrest. “We first got you on three counts of armed robbery with a deadly weapon. Your little accomplice had snitched you out on those. Stealing $200,000 from two homes in the hills….and then a—bank in which you emptied the whole safe funds. Quite impressive.” the officers tell of his accomplice ratting him out enraged him to no end on the inside, but his demeanor never broke. Only a sly, smile played on his lips. “¿Impresionante? Me alegra oír eso, nena bonita." The officer ignored his sarcastic remark. “We also have you charged with assault of an office seeing as how you broke the arresting officers nose with the back of your head when he handcuffed you.” that recount of the arrest made him chuckle. “That pendejo had it coming. Talking shit like he was above me.” Daniel laughed with narrowed eyes “We can put you away for life with these three murder charges, Estes.” she tosses a file with pictures that scatter out in front of him. Showing bloody messes of crime scenes. Gunshot wounds, bashed in faces, one even decapitated. It was rival gang members that were illegal in the country. Daniel had been sent by his gang to intercept their drug drop off. They were cartel members but Daniel and his few men who escaped before the arrest took the out. Daniel shows no emotion to the grossly violent pictures. The officer continues on. “We need to know where your buddies went to Estes. We can get your sentence down to twenty five years with probation in exchange for their whereabouts.” She leans in. Daniel doesn’t say anything, only starring her down with a cold stare. She sighs and leans back in her chair. “The other officers said you wouldn’t rat. I guess I owe them $20. You do understand once you’re tried for these counts, which you WILL be—-you’ll be put away for life without parole.” she looks serious at him and leans back over the table and points to his arrest record. “You’re twenty four, you have your whole life ahead of you and you’re throwing it away. Do you understand?” Daniel smirks at her words before leaning in, and in a whisper he says, “Siempre voy a tener mis compas afuera, princesa."

It was the day of new inmate arrivals and Danial rode the transfer bus up to the entrance of the prison. He was use to the life, having been in and out of Juvie since he was thirteen. His home life was rough, a single alcoholic, heroin addict mother, an older brother who joined the cartel, it all heavily influenced him. He had to grow up fast and tough on the streets of California, South Los Angeles. Coming from poor neighborhoods, rundown schools which he always skipped and eventually dropped out of his junior year. He was tough and wild, eventually joining a gang known as Los Cazadores. Daniel got his nick name “Diablo” from his menacing aura. He was violent and relished in it. He would torture and kill with no remorse and always his victims “See you in hell.” or “Nos vemos en el infierno,” before he finished them off. He was infamous within the underground gang world. It was a spectacle on television when he was arrested. Daniel, leaning against the cell bars, glances around at his gang members with a glint of determination in his dark eyes. "Oye, escucharon sobre esos cabrones de la otra banda. Mataron a uno de los nuestros, y eso no va a quedar así, ¿entendido?" Daniel spoke up. Carlos, a fellow gang member, nods in agreement."Sí, Diablo, esos hijos de puta. Tenemos que hacerlos pagar, ¿verdad?" Daniel smirks, a coldness settling in his demeanor as he spoke again. "Exacto. Vamos a darles una lección. En la cafetería, cuando menos lo esperen. No queremos que sepan qué les golpeó." The gang members share a series of nods, understanding the gravity of the situation. Daniel slammed his fist on the wall as he spoke to his comrades."Prepárense, muchachos. Esta noche, les mostraremos lo que significa meterse con los nuestros. ¡Vamos a darles un infierno que no olvidarán!" The group disperses, leaving the cell block charged with an air of anticipation.

In the harsh glow of the prison yard, Daniel leaned casually against a fence, his dark eyes gleaming with a touch of mischief. Two burly guards approached, their authority evident in each step. “Ahh—the pigs are out of their pens.” Daniel snarked. Guard 1 grit his teeth. "Estes, you've got a mouth on you. Watch it." Daniel shot them a sly grin, unfazed. "Oh, come on, muchachos. Just trying to make this place less dull. You guys need some entertainment, don't you?" Guard 2, scowled "You're not as clever as you think, Diablo.Thats why your ass is locked in here. For life." Daniel chuckled, his tone mocking. “Are you gonna’ be sweet and keep me company for those years, piggie? I could use the friends. Now, tell me, amigos, got any jokes for me today?" Guard 1 grew irritated"You're pushing it, Estes." Daniel smirked devilishly "Pushing what? Your buttons? Don't worry, I've got a knack for finding the soft spots." The guards exchanged glances, and without warning, they lunged at Daniel. The prison yard erupted in a mix of cheers and jeers from the inmates as the guards aimed to teach Daniel a lesson, one holding him against the wall while the other took punches into his stomach and face. Once they were satisfied they dropped him to the ground. “Still gonna run your mouth, Estes?” Guard one smirked down at him. Daniel chuckled through labored breathing and spit blood at their shoes. Before Guard one was about to kick Daniel in his face Guard two stopped him. “He’s had enough it’s not worth getting a pay dock and cafeteria duty. Let’s go.” they left, leaving Daniel spitting blood and struggling to get to his feet, shooting menacing glances at the inmates that cheered, who now walked away with scowls and fear from him.

It was before his arrest, Daniel was remembering a time outside the prison that he’s been in for ten months now. He was loving it up with money earned from drug smuggling for his crew. He had a girlfriend that lived with him in a house in a bad neighborhood. She was a feisty Latina with a tramp stamp and fat ass. Her tits were fake which he didn’t much care for, but didn’t complain when they fucked. Her name was Serena, but he called her his princesa or his ‘la Perra’. They fucked non stop night and day, doing lines of coke and smoking bowls and blunts he rolled. He threw parties and had gang meet ups at his house, which she didn’t like. His house was full of drugs and hidden guns. Anytime she yelled at him for it he slapped her. They argued and seemed toxic to others, which they were, but their make up sex was wild. It wasn’t until a year before his arrest that he came home early from a drug drop to find her fucking one of his crew members. He immediately shot the man in the head, causing him to fall on top of her, she cried and screamed. “What the fuck Daniel!” Daniels face was stone cold, a hint of sadness and anger in his eyes at the betrayal. He pointed the gun at her as she pushed the dead man off of her and got up out of the bed naked, holding her arms up. “Daniel please…Mi corazon, lo siento! Please dont kill Me!” she shouted through gasping tears the ruined her makeup. He kept the gun on her and looked away for a brief moment, wiping away a quick tear. “You fucking bitch…” He muttered “Just…get your clothes and get the fuck outta my sight before I kill you.” He looked back to her with anger in his eyes, they also held back tears “Please, Danny!—-I have nowhere else to go!” She pleaded and rushed to throw on clothes. “¡Jódete, maldita puta! ¡Sal antes de que te mate!” He screamed and got in her face. She shook in fear and sobbed loudly before running out, leaving with only the clothes on her back. Daniel couldn’t stand to live there after that. Some men from his crew burned the body and cleaned up, one of them moving into the available house. Daniel moved into a smaller penthouse apartment closer into the city, out of the ghetto neighborhoods. Leaving his barrio behind. He felt lonely and angry, two months of getting high and drinking his ass off, fucking any girl he could, throwing them to the side once he got bored of them. He became a real womanizer after that.

In the stark hallway, Daniel leaned against the wall, trying to catch the attention of a female guard on duty. “Aquí viene mi dama sexy favorita.” The female guard scoffed and rolled her eyes."Estes, save the charm for someone who cares." Daniel smirked"Ouch, straight to the point. I like that in a woman."

• The female Guard was unamused.* "Don't flatter yourself. What do you want?" Daniel said with a playful glint, "Just some company, cariño. This place gets lonely, you know?" The female Guard crossed her arms. “I don’t fuck murders." Daniel leaned in. "Come on, beautiful, let's make this place a little less gloomy. What do you say we get together in the showers when your shift ends?"
• The female Guard maintained a stern expression.*"I say you should keep dreaming, Diablo." Daniel smirked. "Dreaming is my specialty, darling. But hey, the offer stands whenever you change your mind. I’m a generous lover." He grabbed his crotch as he looked at her with a sultry devilish glare. The female guard shook her head hit and the cell bars with her baton. “Just shut up and go sleep Casanova.”
