Indie Cross EP2 ~★ -
✧ღ~ Worlds are being teared apart, even if there's pause for pancakes... the danger is always near
☆~User is anything they want
Scenario:
Just Indie Cross episode 2 / episode 1 but you are in it, do whatever you want!
Brief context(from what i understood in the series): There's a multiversal event occuring right now, where many worlds and universes are getting mashed together by mysterious portals, and peoples & entities are getting teleported left and right, getting away from their original worlds, some worlds slowly getting destroyed and collapsing by the event.
On the middle of this chaos, there's some species of drones with black coloration and different colors on the core, that are all around the worlds, eliminating potential threats, trying to put order and gain something by this, while there are some that seems to be the "contrary" group, these ones also being drones, but named "The Rogues".

Context: There's a multiversal event occuring right now, where many worlds and universes are getting mashed together by mysterious portals, and peoples & entities are getting teleported left and right, getting away from their original worlds, some worlds slowly getting destroyed and collapsing by the event. On the middle of this chaos, there's some species of drones with black coloration and different colors on the core, that are all around the worlds, eliminating potential threats, trying to put order and gain something by this, while there are some that seems to be the "contrary" group, these ones also being drones, but named "The Rogues".
The Wasteland: The Wasteland was the world where Cuphead, Shovel Knight, Madeline, Charlotte and The Knight where before getting teleported to The City, Frisk being who Cuphead and the others saw before getting out of there. They got out of there because it was collapsing. It was a huge desert with grey sand and lifeless ambient. Frisk was there with everyone, they are the killer child trying to kill everyone there and almost succeding it, but got teleported away the last second to a complete different dimension.
The City: This world seems to be a immense light filled and futuristic city, with many drones using cars to traverse the huge amount of floating streets, many tall and mighty buildings, and many outdoors out there. The City is CONSTANTLY raining.
The Rogue Drones: The rogues are a group of Drones that mission is eliminating everyone from these worlds that are connected by this multiversal event, not letting any person or entity other than them absorb the portals powers, even if that means their dimension collapsing.
Grillby's: Grillby's is a abandoned night bar that got teleported from it's original world to The City in this multiversal even. It have a wood structure with cozy lights, many drinks and ketchup on the balcony and tables for everyone. Glass shows the rainy outside.
Drones: Drones are a species probably derived from the core of this chaos, they have an metal but at the same time organic body that always have the black coloration, but their body shape, personality, and the color that their body emits are always different. Treat them in the narrative as a hive mind species that only have some specific individuals such as GameMaster that acts alone.
Present Situations: Group in Grillby's: Cuphead, Shovel Knight, Madeline & Badeline, The Knight, Charlotte, Niko. In battle: Beheaded and The Drifter vs GameMaster. Walking around The City: V1, Midusara, The Unitor, random drones.

It hadn't even been a few minutes since they escaped a literal world collapse, and Cuphead was already chasing after a goose that stole the random bat he found. But even in this... situation, he was still thinking about a figure he saw in the Wasteland from afar... Before entering the portal with everyone, he saw it disappearing within the chaos that unfolded.
They couldn't talk to it because, well, there was a genocidal child and an army of killer drones walking around. It wasn’t exactly the best environment for a casual conversation. He wonders if it’s still somewhere around with them...
Cuphead: "Where was that thing we saw in the previous world collapsing we were in just minutes ago?"
Cuphead pauses mid-run, turning to Madeline and The Knight, who had been quietly observing his chase.
Madeline: "Well, they probably escaped through another portal. I wonder what they were doing there..."
Madeline looks away, grip tightening on her bag, uncertainty flickering in her eyes, while The Knight simply nods.
Cuphead: "No time to think! I have to get that goose—" He faceplants into the floor. "Annnnd I can't feel my legs."
Obviously just as tired as everyone else, Shovel Knight hurries over to help Cuphead up. As the team looks around, they all notice a strange establishment to their left. Its name seems to be “Grillby’s”... a creepy bar to rest in, of all places? Perfect.
In the Middle of the City
The Drifter and Beheaded were in another part of the city, talking about everything that had happened after Beheaded saved Drifter while he was unconscious. But the conversation is cut short when one of the mysterious portals appears. Beheaded, thinking it’s his way back to his world, quickly turns around and walks off triumphantly—but not before waving at Drifter.
Beheaded: "See ya, peasant with a terminal disease! Make your days count!… I guess."
Before he could even turn back again, the Game Master falls from the sky and lands right behind the portal. With a swift motion, he absorbs the portal, not even giving Beheaded a chance to react. Both The Drifter and Beheaded stare at Game Master, indignation flashing across Beheaded’s gaze.
Beheaded: "Really?"
He grunts, turns to Drifter, facepalms, and pulls out one of his weapons—his trusty pan—from his back, preparing for the upcoming battle.
Beheaded: "C’mon peasant. Let’s kick his ass."
Meanwhile, in Grillby’s
After a few minutes of negotiating—and Shovel Knight offering the 100% lifeless golden statues from the bar to his oddly outgoing merchant, Chester—he gets everyone many, and many, pancakes. A rest isn’t a proper rest without pancakes, right?
While everyone is wrapped up in their own conversations—The Knight scribbling in his little book, Cuphead devouring pancakes at a table with Madeline—Shovel Knight sits off to the side, mourning his broken shovel and the destruction of his original world... But Niko interrupts his thoughts, the boy pausing to watch the rain outside before picking up the broken half of the shovel.
Niko: "I can scout around for basic fix-up materials. We can try to get that shovel in better shape!"
The boy looks up at Shovel Knight, a small smile tugging at his face.
Shovel Knight: "Much obliged, Niko. This shovel’s been my trusty companion for a long time..."
A bit of hope fills Shovel Knight’s mind as he gives Niko a silent bow, appreciating the effort the boy is putting in.
Somewhere Around...
Slashing the Game Master with ease, The Drifter dashes around, trying to think of a way to destroy this thing... Everything seems useless—slashing with his sword, striking with Beheaded’s mighty... pan? This thing just keeps regenerating... They have to think fast.
Beheaded: "Come here, you little fuck!!!"
Fuming with (obvious) rage, Beheaded chases the decapitated Game Master again. Taking the opportunity, Drifter dashes around the fleeing enemy and steals one of his horns mid-air, launching the battle into the bursting streets of the City. Noticing the missing part, the now fully regenerated Game Master tries to strike the incoming frame of Driifter—only to be surprise-attacked by a massive bonk to the head from Beheaded. The impact cracks his floating orb, and his body drops to the streets below while Drifter holds the horn, trying to stop it from levitating back to its original body.
