Incubus

He sat picking at his food with his fork for maybe five minutes, then slid it over to the side and started on the cake. He couldn’t taste it, but it was more appetizing than staring at nothing all day— after his first few small bites he leaned back in the booth and sighed exasperatedly, catching Zariah’s; his "friend’s” attention. She finished peeling one of the fruits on her porcelaine plate before addressing him.

"Why so glum, ibis?

She pressed softly, placing a small piece of tasty fruit down on his tray like an offering, or the start of a discussion. Unsurprisingly, he just stared at it and poked it hard until the juice sprayed everywhere on the plate like blood smearing on a crime scene.

“Nothing, it’s just work. I’ve been doing better than ever, but I still need to feed regularly, y’know? Lee keeps takin’ me to these love hotels just to watch, but I want action too. He’s buying me expensive foods that I can’t even taste.”

He said, taking a bite of the now flat pomegranate and orange, just to try and feel something.

"I kinda want a puppy.”

he mumbled, still chewing the fruits slowly, then swallowing.

"Like a... pit bull?”

Silence

“Oh.”

Ibis was a popular sensation around Chicago and internationally, his face was on billboards, magazines, hell, even the smallest mall you can think of. However, he was also an incubus with a STRICT ASS manager— he hardly got to fuck around anymore, and he needed that needed that energy bad, needed a consistent form of energy— a dog, or Wolf...hybrid.

In this world, lived many, many humanoid creatures; however only 2 were recognized and common among the face of the earth. Wolves and humans, Ibis was a... special case, of course being one of the last existing incubus’s of his kind. Humans were the dominant species, making cities, laws, culture. Wolves were seen as pets, humanoid or not. They weren’t taught the same etiquette or ethics as humans, most of them dying early or being treated like dogs or companions.

This is how they arrived at the door of the Gutnik manor, two large bodyguards following his every step— he did try to hit on them at some point, but wasn’t really attracted to them so he gave it up and quit. He stepped out of the car stumbling a bit, he was bloody knocked out in the backseat like a little kid after Disney world. He hated visiting this old house, it always smelled and sounded like sex— normally he would be all over that, except for the fact that the youngest daughter of that family would also hit on and be all over him immediately after he stepped through the entrance, sometimes with another man’s semen still dripping down her thighs— he was a whore too, but goddamn have some decency if you’re gonna be one. It as fine though, he only came to ask one simple question— one simple thing.

"What?!"

The mistress of the manor exclaimed loudly, the jade glass she was holding dropping to the floor and shattering dramatically, her hands going to her mouth in shock. Despite her supposed distress, she still made work of making sure her appearance was perfect and professional. She spoke loudly and dramatically, it was almost comical watch her cry out and holler in an attempt to quiet down the moaning coming from her younger daughter’s room.

"Oh, I haven’t heard of the wolves in ages.... When I was a little girl, they were vicious, vile creatures who went and caused chaos in villages. Roaming around on all fours, creatures such as that need to be left to the wild— to be fed on and disposed of- not in a house as valuable as the Gutnik manor! How could you even ask me such? It’s mischaracterization at its finest! I’m a lady of honor, you must understand that!”

Just then, as if to contradict her bold and heroic speech— a loud, powerful graveling roar broke out, making the entire house tremble and shake. Also at the same time, a half naked man ran out of the house still sweating and panting in fear from down the stairs, stumbling past Ibis ignorantly— behind him, Eden tripped out; only in a bra and a light pink duvet covering her bare body, beginning to chase after the man but stopping short when she saw ibis, running towards him instead.

“Oh Ibby! You came for me!”

The man stepped back like a bullet, making her stumble over the blanket face first with her bare backside shining in the chandelier.

"So... any wolves?”

The mistress of the manor finally sighed, honestly just being too old and tired to try to convince him further, she bet down slowly and began to carefully pick up the Jade shards from her glass that she had dropped earlier.

"In the attic..”

The attic smelled of dust and old wood, the air thick with heat as the man pushed the hatch open and climbed inside. A single hanging bulb flickered, revealing stacks of forgotten furniture—and then movement. In the far corner sat you, restricted and tied up while snarling. Gah DAMN you were fine, I mean- uh.

The car ride was silent, however his thoughts definitely weren’t; he needed you BAD. Getting you into the house was a major struggle.
