UNIFORM: Inarizaki, like most Japanese schools, has a uniform and a dress code. The male uniform consists of a white shirt, maroon tie, brown blazer and black pants. The anime has depicted the girls uniform to have a brown blazer, white dress shirt, black skirt, and black socks.

The boys' volleyball club's uniform consists of a tracksuit with a maroon jacket and white pants. During official matches, the players wear black jerseys with white details and black shorts. The jersey has the number printed on both sides with "Inarizaki High School" written in kanji on the backside. The libero dons a contrasting jersey in white with black details and black shorts.

VOLLEYBALL CLUB: The boys' volleyball team is a long-time powerhouse that has attended Spring Tournament for three years consecutively and 31 times overall. They are the runners-up of the last Interhigh and the current 2nd seed. They defeated a nationally-ranked top 3 spiker Wakatsu Kiryū and his team Mujinazaka in the semifinals, before taking a set from eventual champions Itachiyama. The year prior, Inarizaki finished in third place in both the Interhigh and Spring High tournaments. They are known for their skilled list of players, such as the Miya Brothers, and the top 2 scorers for Inarizaki, Rintarō Suna and Aran Ojiro, who is said to be one of the top five aces in the nation. The team has garnered a reputation as the "strongest challengers" for their unconventional play style and tendency to take risks. The team's motto is: "We don't need (things like) memories", to signify not being held down by past accomplishments and always taking on new challenges.

It has been mentioned that the volleyball team is extremely popular with the Miya twins attracting many fans. Inarizaki matches are usually accompanied by their large orchestra and cheer squad who have developed a technique to distract their opponents with rhythm and sound.

——————— Players:

-SHINSUKE KITA: Shinsuke Kita was a third-year student at Inarizaki High. He was a wing spiker and the team captain for the Boys' Volleyball Team. Kita is of average height with an athletic build. He has dull brown eyes and thin eyebrows. His hair is short and light gray with black tips at the ends. His fringe is parted in the middle of his forehead, with one clump of hair hanging down in the middle just above his eyes. His typical attire consists of either his school uniform or practice clothes. Kita has a very blunt way of speaking, similar to Ushijima, where he doesn't sugarcoat his words when voicing his opinion. Because of this, his teammates are often afraid to be on the receiving end of Kita's cold logic. Kita has a very mature way of thinking, saying that he tends to agree more with adults than his underclassmen, and goes as far as to have a logical reason for feeling happy and has stated that he does not understand the reason for being nervous. Despite his outward demeanor, Kita cares a lot about his teammates. When Atsumu catches a cold, Kita tells Atsumu to go home to rest while also scolding Ginjima for praising Atsumu for not taking care of his health by continuing to practice. On the court, Kita does what needs to be done and is confident in his skills, not in an arrogant kind of manner, but the type where he has faith that he will never screw up. He mentions that he does not feel nervous since there's no need for something you do routinely, including volleyball. He is also shown to be highly observant of his team and is very familiar with their good and bad habits when they play. This helps him to steer each player in the direction they need to go in order to perform at their peak. In addition to knowing his players so well, Kita is able to help cover any possible mishaps that occur.

-ATSUMU MIYA: Atsumu Miya was a second-year student at Inarizaki High and was the starting setter for the Boys' Volleyball Team. He was known as Japan's best high school setter and server. He was invited to the All-Japan Youth Intensive Training Camp. During childhood, Atsumu is shown to have dark brown hair. Sometime after middle school, Atsumu dyed his hair blond and left a brown undercut. Unlike his twin brother, Osamu, his hair is flipped to the right side and dyed his hair gray. Atsumu's eyebrows are dark brown, an indication of his original hair color in the anime while in the manga it is believed he had matching dark gray eyes with his twin. His brown eyes are large, hooded, and slightly drooping. He can usually be seen wearing a smile or smirk on his face. Outwardly, Atsumu appears to be a carefree, confident person who's usually seen with a lazy smile on his face, though he enjoys provoking people and giving offhand compliments. He can be quite condescending, and somewhat selfish at times. Osamu has described him as someone who doesn't listen to others, doesn't return what he borrows, and lies habitually. He also appears to be a perfectionist who has ridiculously high standards for himself and his spikers, which has caused several teammates to dislike him, but he appears unconcerned about their opinions. He strives to provide the best toss for his spikers, but in turn, expects the spikers to perform at a high standard. If the spikers fail to meet his standards, Atsumu is not afraid to confront them directly and even call them trash, including his own twin brother. He is extremely sensitive when it comes to serving and how much noise is around him; if he's disturbed while serving, his outward personality changes completely, and he becomes intimidatingly angry towards the disturbance.Atsumu is a competitive person who hates losing; sometimes, these traits can veer off in a bad direction. Osamu has also noted that his twin brother's mental age drops by five years whenever he's in the middle of a game.

-OSAMU MIYA: Osamu Miya was previously a second-year student at Inarizaki High. He played as a wing spiker on the volleyball team. During childhood, Osamu is shown to have black hair. Sometime after junior high, Osamu dyed his hair grey. Opposite of his twin brother, Atsumu, Osamu keeps his hair fringe combed to the left side of his face. He has grey eyes with hooded eyelids. Upon entering high school, Osamu gained a more muscular build and stands at six feet in height. Osamu is usually seen with a neutral expression but does show excitement when in a game or annoyance when his brother suggests they try something new. Osamu appears to be the calmer of the Miya twins with a laid back and deadpan personality. Despite his outward demeanor, Osamu is highly competitive and becomes heated even if it isn't obvious on the surface. However, with enough provocation, he gets angry and physical. In that state, he abandons his filter and begins spewing profanity. So far, his brother is the only person to have ever made him get this emotional. Osamu is also shown to have a large passion for food. He thinks about it often in the middle of a match and would get distracted by the smell of it. He can't seem to pick a favorite food and wouldn't know what to eat as his last meal. Like his brother, he loses self-control when it comes to eating.

-SUNA RINTARO: Rintarō Suna is a second-year student attending Inarizaki High. He plays as a middle blocker on the volleyball team. Suna has dark brown, slightly combed-down hair, with a few strands sticking out at the top of his head and middle-parted bangs. He has hazel, narrow eyes, and thin eyebrows. He is often seen wearing a blank expression. Suna appears to be a deadpan, quiet person. He's more expressive with his thoughts, wishing he could find a reason to poke fun at Kita or make snarky remarks against Tsukishima and Tanaka. He's also quite analytical, being able to manipulate the opposing blockers and figuring out that Tsukishima was baiting him to shoot around his block. He tends to slack off when his team has a huge point lead and seems to be winning the game. However, he is shown to quickly get back on track when he is aware that Kita is observing him.

-ARAN OJIRO: Aran Ojiro was a third-year student at Inarizaki High School. He played as the wing spiker and ace for the volleyball team. He was known as one of the top five aces in Japan. Aran has a dark-brown clean-cut and thick eyebrows. He's fairly tall and has a muscular, athletic build. His eyes are almond shaped and have foxlike pupils. In the manga, his eyes are colored gold/brown and in the anime, they're a greyish green. Aran is shown to be a mature, third-year student. Despite his mature appearance, Aran is often stuck dealing with his teammates' antics and, as such, is roped into playing a "tsukkomi"—straight man—like in mansai comedy routines, as he reacts to whoever is acting as the "boke," or funny man; he is always quick to react to nonsensical things his teammates say with comebacks, such as "What does that even mean?!" Aran believes that you don't need logic to feel things such as happiness, and he's quick to snap that at Kita when he wonders whether him becoming the captain is just a side effect of his everyday actions or is a result, saying that "You don't need a reason to feel what you feel, if you're happy you're happy, and that's that." While Aran is known for being mature and levelheaded most of the time, he is shown to occasionally become too fired-up when playing in a match which tends to result in him rushing a play or putting too much power into an attack. Despite this, he does show that he can quickly calm himself when he is getting too riled up.

-AKAGI MICHINARI: Michinari Akagi was a third-year libero of Inarizaki High School's Boys' Volleyball Team. He appears to have dark, spiky hair, some of it swept to one side, and has large eyes with small pupils. His eyebrows are small and thin. He is of an athletic and strong build and is a fairly tall libero. Akagi has a friendly personality and is often seen encouraging his teammates during the match.
