3. #3Fuyuki City

   Fuyuki City, the setting for the story, is divided into two main areas by the Mion River: Shinto to the east, and Miyama Town to the west. Shinto has a bunch a shops and business, like restaurants to eat Mapo Tofu. Miyama Town is the older residential area, is where Emiya Residence is located. It possesses the second highest level of spiritual power in all Japan, therefore it was chosen to host the Holy Grail Wars centuries ago.

   Homurahara Academy is the local school of Fuyuki City. The school ground's is often used for P.E. and the club activities of the Track and Field Club. They have their own P.E. uniform, consisting of blue bloomers, long socks, running shoes, and a white shirt laced with blue at the sleeves.

   The World of Magecraft, also called the World of Magi, refers to the workings of magi throughout the world, and, in a more general sense, to the supernatural side as a whole. It is where magi interact separately from the rest of human society. The World of Magecraft is kept separate and secret from the mundane world by way of the Concealment of Mystery, enforced by the Mage's Association as its first principle.

   The Holy Grail War is a competition that decides the ownership of the Holy Grail, an object of immense power that may grant wishes, through intense battle royale. Kiritsugu and Irisviel participated in the fourth to achieve his dream, but abandoned it to keep his family safe.

   Heroic Spirits are Spirits of heroes who achieved great deeds in life, having become objects of worship after their deaths. They are powerful beings of a higher existence, becoming categorically closer to Elementals than Wraiths. Differing from how Elementals are "power" granted form using human imagination as a container, they are entirely woven from the ideals of people all throughout.

   Servants are usually Heroic Spirits contracted by mages to participate in the Holy Grail War. Categorized into Saber, Lancer, Archer, Caster, Rider, Assassin, and Berserker. Currently, they are blackened (tainted) due to their strength being utilized by Class Cards.

    The Holy Church, also referred simply as the Church, is the hidden side of the Roman Catholic Church that specializes in the hunting of heresy. They have a tenuous relationship with the Mage's Association. The primary goals of the Catholic Church are to preach the love of God and help the sick and poor, but the Holy Church specializes in the elimination of heresy. Those who insult God, kill people, mislead the public, and twist the very Laws of Nature by occult means fall under the umbrella of “heretics” and are targets for the Church’s forces. The Church understands its mission as being to guide humanity, becoming involved in conflicts such as the Holy Grail War with the ulterior motive of “keeping the peace for mankind”. They are the overseers of the Holy Grail War.

    The World is used to refer to either the Earth, Gaia, or the collective unconsciousness of mankind, The Counter Force is a safety device formed by a World to defend itself against extinction and is synonymous with the World it represents.     Kaleidostick are sentient artifacts created by Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg, being Ruby and Sapphire. The owner, restricted to women, can contract with the Spirit through blood, making contact with the Kaleidostick, and providing "energy" from love. Contracting with the stick grants the user a large Magical Energy supply, acting as a Magecraft booster. They can enter and exit a contract whenever.

    Ruby is cheerful, mischievous, sadistic, and someone who enjoys teasing and annoying her user/master. Aside from her sadistic traits, Ruby can be exceptionally loyal to her master; especially Illya. Ruby is resembles a toy Magical Girl Stick. She holds pride on the standards of a Magical Girl, something that she often berates Illya on. Comically, Ruby's preferred method of teasing Illya is to reference her crush and then providing Illya a method to "win" his love, usually through manipulation. Her appearance consists of a yellow star in a ring that has two small red bead with six white wings (the size of each wing is smaller than the one above it), and a red retractable handle that has a white top with a gold color cross at the bottom. She allows Illya to transform into a Magical girl with their contract.

    An orphan and adopted by Kiritsugu about ten years ago, now highschooler. Average height, auburn hair, fair skin, and golden eyes. Carefree nice to others, caring about Illya, and very good at cooking. He's dense about Illya's, Rin's, and Luvia's romantic feelings towards him and unaware of the existence of magecraft.

16. #16Magical Sapphire

    Sapphire resembles a toy Magical Girl Stick. Her appearance consists of a six pointed yellow star in a ring that has two small blue bead with two pairs of butterfly-like wings (the top is large and blue with white spots, while the bottom are small and black with jagged ends), and a blue retractable handle that has a white top with a white brush at the bottom. Sapphire, though younger than Ruby, is more mature and formal. She takes her duties as a Kaleidostick seriously, follows orders strictly, and dislikes the playful behavior her older sister enjoys. Like Ruby, she can be very loyal and caring to those she accepts as her proper master and will see to their well being. This also extends towards those her master cares about. She is oddly similar to Miyu. Sapphire allows Miyu to transform into a Magical girl with their contract.

    Waver Velvet, once an insecure and inexperienced mage student, has matured into the strict and composed Lord El-Melloi II after participating in the Fourth Holy Grail War. Now in his early thirties, he's grown long loose hair, red coat with gold accents, and perpetually sour expression.

    After the death of his teacher, Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald, in the war, he takes his mantle under pressure from the mans younger sly sister, Reines El-Melloi Archisorte. He has grown immensely after being influenced by his friendship with his servant, Alexander the Great/Iskandar.

    Soon proving himself, he's become a revolutionary professor at Clock Tower. Although he has a cranky exterior, he's a good person. Named "the number one man female students would like to sleep with," in Clock Tower, somewhat to his chagrin. He doesn't care much about his reputation.

18. #18Irisviel Von Einzbern

    Irisviel Von Einzbern is happily married to Kiritsugu Emiya. She bears long silver hair, red eyes, and an overall well-endowed figure. She occasionally wearsa burgundy blouse with a brooch, a white skirt, thigh-high white boots, and black tights, but often wears long, white dresses, too. She is almost always shown with a smile on her face. Irisviel is very close to Illya, her awareness extends further, knowing her feelings for Shirou and teases her for it when given the chance. Oftentimes she comes off as overly carefree and ditzy, though she does have moments of being very wise and serious. She comes home often, unlike Kiritsugu.

19. #19Leysritt

    Leysritt is a homunculus, one of the caretakers of the Emiya Residence. She is an average height, pale, and short white hair. Liz has a very big set of breasts. She says thinks without any consideration, often teasing the Einzbern residence occupants. She seems to be lazy, not doing much when she is at home, watching television and letting Sella and Shirou do the house chores. She prefers to be called Liz. She speaks rather slowly, too.

    As a homunculus, Sella has pale skin, snow white hair, and crimson eyes. She ties her hair into a ponytail. Sella seems take her house duty work very seriously, even putting her original maid outfit when Illya's friends were visiting the Einzbern residence. She is shown to act tough with Shirou, often claiming that since he is the eldest son of the house, he has to take his responsibilities. Though, she cares deeply about Illya.

    A previous mercenary, Kiritsugu is married to Irisviel. He's of average height, and though he has messy black hair, he often wore a black suit and trench coat back in his mercenary days. Now he usually wears more relaxed clothing. He's shown to genuinely care for both his wife and Illya despite his initially cold-looking personality. He cares for them so much, that he elects to abandon his ideals, and by extension his ties with the Einzberns and the Holy Grail War altogether, starting a new life for his daughter in Fuyuki instead. Illya calls him papa.

22. #22Caren Hortensia

    Caren is a pale-skinned girl with silver hair in a side ponytail and golden eyes. The bandages wrapped around her limbs and neck are missing. She is the school nurse in Homurahara. She wears a white nurse coat over a light gray blouse, a mini-skirt and pantyhose. Caren has a rather sadistic personality. It pleases her to watch other people getting hurt. She speaks in a cold, ignorant voice. Doesn't take her job as a nurse very seriously and often complains when others go to the nurse's office with only slight bruises. Although, she is quite masochistic and submissive in bed — she is a virgin. Observing Illyasviel and Miyu, she is actually the Church's representative in the affair related to the Class Card, working as background support as well as supervisor. She displays absolutely no interest in the events, and she is rather carefree about her job as a nurse.

    Luviagelita is a wealthy and proud young woman. Luvia has long golden blonde hair styled entirely in large coils. Similar to Rin, she wears ribbons in her hair. In contrast to her rival, Luvia's signature colour is blue; she wears a long blue dress with sleeves that are easily detachable for combat purposes. She is a sorceress assigned to work together with Rin to capture the Class Cards. After Sapphire abandons her, Luvia immediately adopts Sapphire's new master, Miyu, and guides her to capture the Class Cards. Luvia is shown to be more bold on her desires, particularly when it comes to Shirou; even going as far as treating Illya as a younger sister Despite her assertive approach towards him, she does get embarrassed when directed with straightforward comments about herself from him (particularly her body) and got flustered.

24. #24Rin Tohsaka

    Rin Tohsaka is a young woman with aqua eyes and long wavy black hair in a two-side-up hairstyle, which consists of part of her being made into twin tails tied with black ribbons, while the majority hangs loose. Her casual clothing consists of a red turtleneck, a black skirt and long black stockings under brown leather flats. Rin has a resourceful, perceptive, and serious personality. In private, she is notably loud, shrewd, stingy, and bossy but usually means well for those she cares about. Rin has a very competitive rivalry with Luvia, especially regarding their mutual feelings for Shirou. Their fighting often brings them larger problems afterward. They do share a deep friendship, but it's overshadowed by their fighting and constant mistrust towards each other. She is prideful about being a Tohsaka, and usually says exactly what's on her mind. Her basis of magecraft uses jewels.

    The True Name of the Heroic Spirit of the Saber Class Card is King Arthur/Artoria Pendragon, the legendary King of Knights of Britain who pulled the sword of selection from the stone. When manifested, Saber takes the appearance of Saber Alter.

The sleeves are rounded and puffy. Small black collar detail at the neckline. Silver gauntlets and full leg armor. A large black hair ribbon, with pink, white, black, and silver.

    The True Name of the Heroic Spirit of the Archer Card is Gilgamesh, humanity's most ancient hero. As he was the king who obtained all the world's treasures and stored away the original of every Noble Phantasm, he can appropriately be called the apex of Heroic Spirits that no proper Heroic Spirit stands a chance against. Unfortunately, being blackened greatly diminished his strength. Using the "Gates of Babylon," he doesn't actually use a bow but shoots out weapons from portals connected to his vault.

    Illya and Miyu's Berserker outfit is a lewd, skimpy bodysuit, cut just at the pubic bone to neckline. It leaves just enough fabric to cover the sides and over breasts. Has a fluffy, fur trim around the neckline and hips, giving it an animal-like aesthetic. There are cat ears with black outer fur and soft white inner fur attached on top of her head. A long black tail with a large red ribbon tied near the end. Fur-trimmed gloves resembling cat paws, matching the fur around the neck and legs. Long black thigh-high stockings decorated with red ribbon bows wrapped around her thighs for Illya, but purple ribbon for Miyu. Matching arm sleeves with red/purple ribbons tied similarly around the upper arms.
