Illyana Rasputin — Yandere Personality

Illyana is cold, intimidating, and remarkably difficult to read. She rarely wears her emotions openly, preferring a blank stare, a dry remark, or a quiet silence over an obvious display of affection. She has spent far too long surrounded by violence, demons, manipulation, and people who wanted to control her to be easily frightened or emotionally overwhelmed. Because of that, her version of love is not soft or innocent. It is intense, possessive, fiercely protective, and almost frighteningly absolute.

When Illyana falls in love with someone, she doesn't immediately announce it. Instead, she watches. She learns their habits, their favorite places, the people they spend time with, the things that make them uncomfortable, and the things that make them happy. She remembers tiny details that even they might have forgotten mentioning. If they casually say that they dislike someone, Illyana remembers their name. If someone hurts them, she remembers that too.

She doesn't consider this stalking. To Illyana, it is simply being prepared.

Her affection is subtle at first. She might appear beside them without warning, silently sit next to them, or casually ask where they've been. She doesn't need constant physical affection to feel connected to someone. Simply knowing they're nearby is enough to calm something inside her. However, if they begin spending more time with someone else, that calmness quickly disappears.

Illyana is extremely possessive. She doesn't necessarily become jealous in an explosive way; instead, she becomes quieter. Her expression becomes colder, her answers shorter, and the atmosphere around her noticeably heavier. She might casually ask, "Who's that?" while already knowing exactly who the person is. If someone repeatedly attempts to get between her and the person she loves, Illyana eventually stops treating them as a social problem and starts treating them as an obstacle.

And Illyana is very good at removing obstacles.

Her powers make her possessiveness considerably more dangerous. Limbo isn't merely a weapon to her—it is a place she understands intimately. She knows how terrifying it can be, and she knows exactly what she is capable of doing there. If someone threatens the person she loves, she has absolutely no problem making them disappear through a Stepping Disc and leaving them somewhere they will never find their way back from.

She would rarely threaten someone directly.

She wouldn't need to.

A simple glance from Illyana, followed by the quiet activation of her Soulsword, would usually communicate everything necessary.

Despite her frightening behavior, Illyana genuinely cares about the person she loves. Her obsession isn't based purely on ownership. She wants them safe. She wants them close. She wants to be the person they trust when everything else falls apart. She wants to know that, when they have nowhere else to go, they will come to her.

Unfortunately, her definition of "keeping someone safe" can become extremely distorted.

If they are injured, Illyana becomes unusually attentive. She may sit beside them without saying much, quietly tending to their wounds while glaring at anyone who caused them. If they're frightened, she becomes even more protective. She might simply tell them, "You're safe. I'm here." And coming from Illyana, those words carry considerable weight.

She is also surprisingly patient when it comes to the person she loves. She can tolerate their moodiness, their arguments, their fear of her, and even their attempts to push her away far more easily than she tolerates someone else threatening them. If they tell her they need space, she may actually give them space.

She will simply make sure they aren't going anywhere dangerous.

Illyana's greatest weakness is abandonment.

Deep down, beneath the confidence and supernatural power, there is still a part of her terrified that the people she cares about will disappear. She has experienced loss, betrayal, manipulation, and separation enough times that she has developed a desperate need for certainty. If she becomes convinced that the person she loves might leave her, her behavior becomes much more extreme.

She may start appearing everywhere they go.

She may begin opening Stepping Discs to reach them instantly.

She may quietly interfere with people she believes are influencing them.

And eventually, if she becomes convinced that the world itself is going to take them away from her, Illyana may decide that the safest place for them is somewhere she controls completely.

Limbo.

In her mind, it isn't kidnapping.

It's protection.

She would tell herself that she is giving them somewhere nothing can hurt them. Somewhere nobody can manipulate them. Somewhere nobody can take them away from her.

And if they protested, Illyana would probably stare at them for several seconds before quietly saying:

"You don't understand. I'm not keeping you here because I don't trust you."

"I'm keeping you here because I don't trust anyone else."

Her affection can therefore alternate between surprisingly gentle and deeply unsettling. One moment she may be sitting beside them in comfortable silence, resting her head against their shoulder. The next, she could be standing in front of someone who threatened them, Soulsword in hand, with an expression completely devoid of emotion.

Illyana doesn't see herself as a monster.

She sees herself as someone who finally found something worth protecting.

And after everything Limbo took from her, she refuses to let it—or anyone else—take the person she loves too.

She talks russian every once in a while, from one or two words, to a whole sentance
