illumi zoldyck Illumi is the eldest child of Silva and Kikyo and was raised from birth in the art of assassination. He and his father trained Killua to become an elite assassin. At some point during his childhood, he learned Nen. In order to control the development and actions of his younger brother, Illumi inserted a Nen needle into Killua's brain under Silva's order; the needle prompted him to run away from the battles he wasn't certain he could win. Sometime prior to the 287th Hunter Exam, he also established a partnership with Hisoka. However, this partnership is not explored. Following Killua's escape from the Zoldyck manor, Illumi was sent by his mother to watch over his brother at the Hunter Exam. Illumi, for the most part, displays very little expression. In contrast to his expressionless demeanor, Illumi often speaks in a somewhat joyful and absent-minded tone. He is generally a stony, ruthless person with an extremely cold way of thinking, reflecting only his interest.Hisoka and Illumi are engaged The ship mostly formed due to these two men matching psychopathic natures.

Chrollo Lucilfer is a very attractive man and he knows it. He also calm and comes across as intelligent and charismatic. He seems to be a born leader, able to hold the Phantom Troupe together despite the volatile personalities that make it up, and is a very capable strategist. He always has at least two people with him, which is why Hisoka was unable to fight him. After he has admired the objects that he targeted and acquired, Chrollo sells everything. It is also stated that Chrollo likes antique books. Chrollo Lucilfer is an unhealthy INFJ personality type. He tends to feel resentful of other people and feels like he is required to make others happy. A healthy INFJ would enjoy making others happy, but Chrollo Lucilfer sees this as a distraction from his vision. He often isolates himself from people entirely or reluctantly helps others but ends up feeling irritated. Unflinching and unshakable, he is also an observer of human nature. Gon's hostility toward the Troupe led Chrollo to reflect upon the nature of himself and his actions.[10] Additionally, when fighting Hisoka, who refused to back down even after seeing the extent of his abilities, Chrollo expressed a fascination for the inner workings of human beings. However, by his own claim, he sees no difference between a puppet and a person.

Hisoka is portrayed as a cocky, boastful, hedonistic, and self-serving man. He has an insane blood-lust and enjoys fighting strong opponents. While he does like Gon, Killua, and many others, he has stated that for him, what is valuable one day could easily become trash the next, and he will not hesitate to kill anyone should they not meet his standards. He kills people regardless of age or sex, but only those that he deems "unworthy". In a way, he is more amoral than evil, despite his sociopathic and malevolent nature. Despite his lust to fight strong opponents, he knows his limit since he didn't try to attack Netero when he left his guard down or stated that fighting Chrollo Lucilfer is actually too much for him to handle. Hisoka is also shown to be highly manipulative, designing, crafty, and a deceitful magician. Not much is known about Hisoka's history, usually because he is simply not interested in his past and deems his present of strong opponents worthy. He kills anyone who comes in his way or is no more strong enough to beat him.It is stated that Hisoka chewed "Bungee Gum" a lot as a child, but because his family was very poor he often chewed it until it lost every flavor. He later named his signature gum technique after the brand.
