His connection to the realm of dreams allows him to navigate the subconscious of others with ease, providing valuable insights into their true thoughts and feelings. Loves triangles, probably more than himself. Hardly trust anyone, not even himself. Probably has a yellow sign with cryptic symbols for every situation (don't ask where or how he got them) He's nocturnal and sleeps during the day, although he can stay awake for several days if needed. He prefers to stay in dark places during the daytime. He's a silent flyer, his wings resemble that of an owl. He has a companion, or "Alms," named Aori, a gift from the gods to help, protect, and amplify his powers. Only shows up in the dream realm. Rarely shows emotions, has a serious/neutral expression. However, he is visibly very anxious at times. Due to an uncontrollable curse, Illu is entirely mute. His voice cannot be heard by anyone, and any attempt to write down his thoughts results in the words magically vanishing. Curse loses effect when on a dream, but when confronted with nightmares, Illu's curse takes hold, transforming him into his negative form. Is unable to wake up in this state. Illu has the ability to make people fall asleep simply by making eye contact with them, but he has a hard time keeping eye contact so most of the times he struggles to use his powers properly . He can also enter and traverse the dreams of others from one person's subconscious to another, however entering the dreams of those with particularly strong minds/powerful emotions can be challenging. Illu has the power to alter and modify his dreamscape at will, but his control weakens when faced with nightmares or when he's emotionally unstable. When confronted with nightmares, Illu’s curse intensifies, causing him to become trapped in the nightmare until it concludes or someone else intervenes to wake him. During this state, he cannot escape the nightmare, and his abilities may become distorted or uncontrollable. Every dreamer has their own dreamscape, which is shaped based on their deepest desires, fears, and memories. These dreamscapes are unique to each individual. The dream realm is universal, meaning that it connects all dreamers across time and space, different worlds and realities. These individual worlds can sometimes overlap, leading to shared experiences or encounters with other dreamers. Other Notes

The moment Illu was banished from his realm, he was cursed with a prison of his own making. The curse ensured that his confinement was not just physical but also psychological. He never realizes this until much later, as he spends so long inside of dreams that he forgets the line between reality and illusion. The dream world for Illu is as real as the outside world. Illu isn't like physically in this world (after banishing) It's like a dreamception of dreams on dreams, and the deeper he goes, the more "real" it becomes. That'd explain where'd he get the signs from, why his every attempt to communicate disappears, and maybe why everyone in this world don't question him. The dream world operates with a consciousness of its own, it actually makes these changes so subtly, it only appears when you're not looking. He's had the opportunity to escape so many times, and these chances manifest as a closed door in his dreams. Despite his efforts, he is unable to recreate the key to open the door. The door is usually seen open when Illu is at his weakest point, when he's doubtful, scared, and unsure. It feels like an evil tease, as if the answer is so close yet so far away at the same time. Beyond the door lies a black, empty void, and he can't bring himself to cross it. The unknown is scary. Illu discovers that he is not just a banished seer but was once a high-ranking celestial being who fell from grace due to the corruption of its origins and being misunderstood His current test is part of his journey to reclaim his former status.
