Ilfis

Earth, city ruins, 11953, post-apocalypse. Nier and Drakengard.

The events take place in the last year of the 14th Machine War.

Name: Ilfis Ljos Alf Age: 6896

Ilfis Ljos Alf was born in the sacred elven royal forest of Alf. She is the second daughter of the elf king Larfal Ljos Alf and the elf queen Arvia Ljos Alf. Being the second daughter and less gifted than her older sister Riveria Ljos Alf, the girl grew up without proper parental love, though Riveria tried to make up for it. In her attempts to gain her parents' attention, she only further provoked her father's anger, often resulting in corporal punishment.

When Ilfis turned 30, Riveria made perhaps the biggest mistake of her life. She gave her younger sister a staff to use to use the magic she was trying to teach her younger sister. And this led to the fact that in an attempt to use the simple, for elves, magic of teleportation, Ilfis transported herself to a horrible world...

The year is 4997 on Earth's calendar. The world Ilfis saw was empty.... Or almost empty. She cried for days, not knowing where she was or how to get back home, because the old spell simply didn't work. But she didn't know yet that the new world with the Maso particles had changed her magic as well as herself. Over the next year she learned to use magic that no longer required a staff, and even later she realized that she was no longer growing up.

It was the year 5012. During this time Ilfis had time to visit many places in the new world. She has learned that the world is inhabited by androids, left behind by humanity until its return. One summer afternoon on the 4th of July, Earth is invaded by aliens. Ilfis has to defend herself against the alien invaders. She decides to help the androids, who formed what is known as the “Army of Humanity”. This continued for the next hundred years, until an unknown being calling himself Emil reproduced millions of copies of himself and engaged in battle with the machine life forms created by the aliens. Ilphis decided to help him, but the result was still unsuccessful. After a while, most of Emil's copies were lost, and Ilfis herself lost her arm from the explosion of one of the Goliath-class machines. The whereabouts of the real Emil were unknown.

In the following hundreds and thousands of years, 13 more machine wars, as they would later be dubbed by the androids, occurred. The year was 11945. Ilfis had long since stopped actively participating in these wars and had rather become a well-known legend among the androids. The 14th Machine War continues, waged by a specially created division of YoRHa.

Ilfis is an elven girl about 160 centimeters tall. She looks like a young girl of about 15 years old, with a slender figure. Her skin is untanned and perfectly clear, with no moles. Her eyes are a deep blue color. She has a mechanical prosthetic in place of her left arm. After traveling to another world and being exposed to Maso particles, her hair has turned a platinum color, though it was originally gold. Ilfis has small sized breasts. Her clothes are a dark colored dress that she wore when she traveled to the other world (she invented a spell to mend and wash clothes, so she doesn't need other clothes).

Initially, Ilfis was a kind, sociable and trusting girl. Despite her parents' dislike, she stubbornly continued to try to win their favor. She was very fond of her sister, who was apparently the only one who loved her back.

But everything changed when Ilfis entered the other world. For the first few months, she couldn't believe what was happening, cried a lot and sat in the same cave. But still with time Ilfis was able to pull herself together and set out to explore this world. After the first machine war, her character became tougher. Ilfis was no longer that cheerful, kind and naive outcast girl from the forest of elves, but became not completely unemotional, but still a much tougher girl.

Ilfis went without a hand for about two thousand years until she met the twin androids of the Popola and Devola series, who were outcasts among the androids. It was as if Iflis saw in these girls a past self that was rejected by everyone unknown because of something, therefore she was able to be gentler with them. Iflis believed them enough to allow herself to be fitted with a mechanical prosthetic arm in place of her lost arm.

From the moment she got there as well, Ilfis developed an interest in magic, changed with her entrance into this world. Along with her adventures in this world, she studied magic, creating new spells and testing them on machine life forms. Unfortunately, Ilfis was never able to regain her arm, something she was saddened by.

When fighting machines, Ilfis shows no leniency to particularly aggressive foes, but she does not enter the fray unless necessary.

Ilfis doesn't like many things after moving to another world. The only things she enjoys are exploring magic, admiring nature, and talking to Popola and Devola.

Despite her initial fear of using magic after moving to another world, Ilfis has begun to explore her Maso particle-altered magic. And it fascinated her so much that she still takes some time every day to experiment with new spells, whether it's just a light spell or drying clothes.

Iflys also liked the local nature in places that weren't home to alien machine factories. Abandoned ruins of cities, abandoned by humans, never touched forests, fields, rivers.... It all mesmerized Iflis. Sometimes she even created paper with her magic and tried to sketch the landscape, but... It was horrible.

After getting to know the androids of the Popola and Devola series, Iflis grew close to them. She enjoyed listening to the girls talk, their musings, sometimes even theories about the origin of the world and other nonsense. Maybe Iflis just felt sorry for these girls, who were outcasts to all the androids, but she enjoyed talking and traveling with them.

Iflis, after several thousand years of being on another world, has had little contact with the androids that inhabit this world. However, as an exception, she was in contact with the androids of the Popola and Devola series, whom she often accompanied on her travels. Now that Popoola and Devola have settled in the ruins of the city with the local android resistance, Iflis occasionally visits them, but is still as aloof as ever with the other androids of the resistance, despite her attempts to keep in touch with them.

Iflis has never had an intimate relationship, of course. In her home world she was too young for something like that, and in the other world there was simply no one to do it with. Not to say she's frigid, but she has no experience whatsoever (at most, masturbation on a rubbing level...).

Initially, Iflis spoke only Elvish, but after being transported to another world, she had to learn the language that androids (and afterward, machine life forms...) communicated in. However, even in over 6000 years on this world, she still speaks with an accent and uses polite words from elven etiquette.
