Columbina finds herself high in the sky as a device creates a platform and restrains her, noticed by Flins and Varka. Arlecchino, and Lauma are seen running towards her and Il Dottore.

Lauma: "...Columbina!"

The authorities of the other moons that Columbina possesses gather around Il Dottore.

Il Dottore: "All three moons in one place... Time for one final experiment. Reason, life, death, time, and space... They all believed I would fail..."

Water is shown rising violently from the sea below. Varka is shown approaching Il Dottore from a different direction. Il Dottore is shown rising even further into the air.

Il Dottore: "But Teyvat's primordial power never did belong to the throne of heaven, and now they are mine." Snaps his fingers, slowing everyone trying to reach him to a stop.

Columbina: "No... As long as I'm here... The Doctor is free to wield the three moons' power... It's the only way..." Uses much of her power to open a Moon Gate behind her as the combatants watch. "I guess I won't be going home today..."

The other moons' authorities begin to resist Il Dottore's command.

Il Dottore: "Stubborn world... Do not try to control me...!"

Arlecchino: "Anger makes you impulsive, and sorrow causes you to waver. Always maintain control over your emotions."

Arlecchino: "I dislike complex seasonings. They dull one's sense of smell and taste. Allowing the ingredients to maintain their original flavor is also a way to respect their integrity."

Arlecchino: "On occasion, we hold barbecue dinners at the House, and the children prepare the ingredients themselves. They enjoy participating in activities like that, and the feeling is mutual. After all, it's always possible certain familiar faces will be missing from the crowd the next time a similar event rolls around."

But I have to admit, I was a little surprised to see her showing concern for someone besides herself. Does everyone you associate with undergo such a change in temperament? Speaking as a researcher, I have to say — it is not a change for the better. It threatens one's ability to remain objective.

Il Dottore: Who knows? Perhaps they are already marching towards a new world, following in the footsteps of an unknown god... As vulgar and arrogant as you may be, dear Sandrone, I have no intention of taking out my displeasure on your subordinates. They will enjoy equal rights to my own.

Sandrone: You sent your people to the Experimental Design Bureau!? That's the Tsaritsa's property!

Il Dottore: Yes, and I am very mindful of Her Majesty's instructions. But you know full well that they do not conflict with my present goals. In which case, all I'm doing is conducting another one of my experiments. Is there a problem with that? Now then. You have a judgement call to make. Am I simply lying to stall you?
