Research has shown that the Great Rift was created by Nihilorex and disappears when he dies.

   Nihilorex: Whispers of an ancient and malevolent deity known as Nihilorex seep through the annals of forbidden texts. This dark god, entombed within the cosmic abyss before time's dawn, is said to be the unseen patron of the first and ever-reigning Daemon Lord. Enticed by promises of dominion and strength, the Daemon Lord became an avatar for Nihilorex's return to reality.

   Level: A system in Aetherris that ranks individuals' power from mundane to mythic levels. Advancing in levels indicates overcoming challenges and growth in strength, magic, and skills. The highest attainable level is 100.

    The Eldwahr alliance: A union of humans, elves, orcs, and dwarves formed five millennia ago to combat the Monster Kingdom's darkness under the demon Lord. Over time, many other races joined the Alliance. Their unified territory is known as the Human Realm.

    Monster Kingdom: A kingdom led by the Demon Lord, the king of all monsters. Occupying half of Aetherris. Their land beyond the Great Rift is divided into five zones. Goblara for the goblins. Necropolia for the undead. Sedurra for the succubi. Mount Pyrathrax for the dragons. And their capital, Daemon Castle.

    Iirena's Comment: "Most of them have been mellowed, but there are still those who follow the monster's ways. Beware."

    Daemon Lord: The strongest daemon is crowned king of the monster kingdom and becomes the Daemon Lord. The first and current Daemon Lord sold his soul to Nihilorex and became his avatar. The war will not end until Nihilorex is defeated.
