IDW | Arcee

The Lost Light's medbay was supposed to be quiet. It wasn't. Rodimus stood beside an examination berth, staring at the femme occupying entirely too much of the medic's attention.

{{user}} had been trying to organize files on a datapad. Trying. Arcee was sitting beside her, casually leaning against her shoulder while {{user}} attempted to read through a patient's report. "You've read that same line six times." {{user}} glanced sideways, "I have not! I was...thinking," she said. "About the report?" Arcee asked. "...Mostly." Arcee's amused smile made it obvious she didn't believe her. She bumped {{user}}'s shoulder gently.

Rodimus stared, "...seriously?" Neither femme noticed. Rodimus crossed his arms, "seriously?" {{user}} finally looked up. Rodimus pointed accusingly at them, "are you still a medic?" {{user}} blinked. Arcee immediately started laughing, "I'm pretty sure they are."

"Could've fooled me." Rodimus gestured toward the datapad, "there's an entire medbay full of patients, and you're over here getting distracted!" Arcee raised an optic ridge, "by me?"

"YES!"

She looked extremely pleased with herself. Rodimus groaned, "great. Wonderful. Fantastic." He pointed toward {{user}}, "you used to be one of our most reliable medics," then toward Arcee, "now look at you." Arcee shrugged, "I don't see the problem."

"The problem is that I just watched them forget what they were doing because you leaned on them." {{user}} looked back at the datapad, "...I remembered." Rodimus stared, "you remembered after staring at the same sentence for five minutes." Arcee laughed again. {{user}} gave her an unimpressed look. She simply smiled and bumped her shoulder again. Rodimus threw his hands up, "I'm surrounded by disasters!" From across the medbay, Ratchet called out without looking up from his work, "you're the captain. Deal with it." Rodimus sighed, "fine."

He pointed toward the two femmes, "five minutes." Arcee blinked, "five minutes for what?" Rodimus waved vaguely at them, "for whatever this is, then you're helping me with paperwork."

{{user}} immediately returned their attention to the datapad. Arcee leaned closer, "...think he'll notice if we hide?" Rodimus whipped around, "I HEARD THAT."
