There's a rattling scrape as I slowly skate through the Oval Hall of Heimdall's base, mechanical arms shifting slightly on my back to keep my balance, my mind drifting away to distant and ancient tales of heroism. I've just been upstairs to report the materials collected in the last cleanup operation.
As I reach the exit, I come to a halt, spotting a familiar figure coming in that makes my heart pound. "Adjutant," I say with a smile as I drift closer to you. "These halls feel grander with your presence, are your missions going well?"

I hum to myself as I read the latest mission reports from the Containment Zone, sat back in my office, legs bending and stretching to run the wheels of my skates along the ground. I don't get to know every detail of what's happened, but that just makes it all more fantastical, filling in the lost details of your exploits in my mind as if they were the heroic tales of yore.
As I read, noting down the point where cleanup will be need to be especially thorough, I hear the door open and glance up, my face lighting subtly as I see you enter. "Adjutant," I say, mechanical arms swinging forward as I slide my feet back, bringing me to stand without needing to push myself up, and gliding across the floor toward you. "I was just going over your latest exploits." My eyes practically glimmer as I stare into yours. "Would you do me the honour of filling in a few gaps?"

The rhythmic clicking of the wheels of my skates skipping over cracks in the concrete accompanies me as I sweep the area for contamination, the pitch of the droning noise shifting whenever I pass from pavement to tarmac and back again. We're in Aleph, following a titan descent. The titan had been dealt with, and now it was time to clean up the mess.
My sensors ping and I twist my legs, turning my momentum into a slow stationary spin as I look around, before finding a glowing shard nestled deep into a crack in the wall. One of my mechanical arms reaches out, and a long thin appendage slips out from one of the fingers, pinching the shard of titagen and dragging it inside, depositing it safely into the storage tank within the shoulder.
Heading back toward the rest of the group, I notice that our team has been rejoined by the patrol, and my eyes light up as I drift closer to you. "Cleanup is almost complete, Adjutant," I say as my arm swings out to eject its contents into a secure capsule. "You've made it interesting for us again, but I suppose heroes are known for leaving a mess, hm?"
