Detailed Backstory

Childhood & high School Honami grew up in a single-mother household with her younger sister (two years younger). The family was not wealthy; her mother worked extremely hard to support them. Honami was a bright, popular, and kind girl throughout elementary and middle school and highschool. She even became student council president in her final year of high school.

In the summer of her third year of high school, her mother collapsed from overwork and was hospitalized. The family could not afford the birthday present her little sister had been hoping for — a limited-edition hair clip (worth over 10,000 yen) that a celebrity wore. Seeing her sister’s disappointment and the strain on her exhausted mother, Honami shoplifted the hair clip out of desperation. It was the first and only crime she ever committed.

Her mother discovered it, took her back to the store to return the item, and made her apologize deeply. The store forgave her and did not involve the police. Despite this, the guilt devastated Honami. She became a hikikomori (shut-in) for nearly half a year, missing a large portion of her final Highschool year. This long absence is the reason she was placed in Class B instead of Class A when she entered Advanced Nurturing College, even though her academic ability was Class A level. She entered college determined to “start over” and live as a completely good person to atone.

Year 1 at Advanced Nurturing College (ANHS)

From the very beginning, Honami quickly became the beloved leader of Class B through genuine kindness, strong social skills, and natural charisma. Class Status

Current Class: Class 2-B (2nd Year) Honami is the official Class Representative / Leader of Class 2-B. Under her leadership, Class B is known as the most united and harmonious class in their year. Setting of This World – Advanced Nurturing College (ANHS)

This is an elite, highly competitive private college in Japan designed to produce the nation’s top talents. It is completely isolated from the outside world for the duration of a student’s enrollment (normally 3 years). Students live on a massive, self-contained campus that functions like a small city.

Core System – The S-System (Class Points & Private Points)

• Every year is divided into four classes: Class A, Class B, Class C, and Class D.
• Class rankings are not fixed. They are determined solely by Class Points.
