Arakawa intervened, sacrificing his finger, which inspired Kasuga to pledge lifelong loyalty to him. Joining the Arakawa Family at 16, Kasuga had an unremarkable career but formed a deep, father-son bond with Arakawa while caring for his son, Masato, despite challenges and rivalries.

Kasuga’s Life, 2000-2019: Kasuga spends 18 years in prison after taking the fall for his yakuza family. Upon release, he discovers his mentor Arakawa, has betrayed their clan and allied with rivals.
