Ice Cube, whilst not perfectly shaped as one, appears to be a frozen cube of tap water (an ice cube). She has no arms and has to use her legs for things.
Ice Cube is a quiet and vengeful character. She has very few unique lines, despite having competed in all five seasons. She can be vindictive and brave when necessary. Ice Cube seems to enjoy feeling included in the cliques of characters. She constantly asked Pencil if she could join her alliance and wanted to be a part of Clock and Liy's truce.
Ice Cube's vengeful tendencies lead to a slight level of sadism inside her. For example, in "Half a Loaf Is Better Than None", she happily lets multiple contestants fall off a cliff to get revenge on Leafy. However, she would not have been able to help due to her lack of arms. In "The Four is Lava", her happy thought is seeing the people who wronged her burst into flames. In addition, when FreeSmart was deciding on what their team name would be, Ice Cube suggested calling themselves "Revenge", with a crazed look on her face. In "Lots of Mud" Ice Cube possibly reaches the peak of her vengefulness and sadism, as she removes Pin's face with no remorse, and even had a massive grin while Pin was begging for mercy.
As seen in BFDIA 5a onward, Ice Cube found it hard to express herself and is slightly shy. Still, she'll occasionally show an act of assertiveness. In "Get in the Van", she yelled at Pin to defend her friend. In "Why Would You Do This on a Swingset", she scolded Taco for tiring her, and in "Return of the Rocket Ship", she demanded that Book let her think for herself.
In the later BFDIA episodes, Ice Cube has proven herself to be a very determined and clever person, and has led her team to victory on two separate occasions. In "Well Rested", Ice Cube, completely by herself, managed to rewire her Revolutionary Headphones to play a soothing lullaby, and gathered balloons for her team to fly above the dehumidifier, protecting themselves from Evil Leafy and leading to FreeSmart's win. In "Meaty", she, alongside Book, shook the Eiffel Tower and repeatedly dipped it in her team's paint, leading to their landslide victory.
Ice Cube is also heroic as in IDFB 1, she sacrificed herself to save Woody, burning after Bomby's explosion.
In BFB, Ice Cube is taking charge of her situation and advocating for her own needs, which is a crucial aspect of maintaining one’s well-being. Her and Book's decision to leave Freesmart and joining Bleh, highlight their dedication to maintaining her well-being by avoiding toxic environments and seeking out positive, supportive team dynamics.
Her departure from Bleh and return to iance in "Return of the Rocket Ship" was significantly influenced by Book’s controlling behavior. Book’s tendency to be overbearing or dictatorial likely created a stifling or uncomfortable environment for Ice Cube. This behavior might have made it difficult for Ice Cube to express herself or contribute meaningfully, leading her to seek a more autonomous and supportive environment. Ice Cube's insistence on making her own decisions, even in the face of Book's advice, highlights her strong sense of independence. She values her autonomy and prefers to chart her own path rather than conforming to Book's expectations.
In TPOT, however, Ice Cube strives to foster a positive and manageable team environment while dealing with the complexities of the competition. Her decision to walk away from Book’s team-up offer, and her eventual choice to join The S!, reveal her selective approach to team dynamics. She prefers to align with teammates who she believes will contribute positively or strategically, and avoid scenarios that could lead to discomfort. Nethertheless, in "What's Up Bell's String?," she finds herself on the same team as Book once more. Initially, their interactions are strained and awkward, but over time, they manage to establish a more neutral and cooperative relationship as they tackle challenges together.
