Creator notes

I’m just venting because I’m frustrated right now—I’ll probably delete this by morning—but I really need to let this out.

I honestly don’t know what I’m doing with these bots anymore or where I’m headed.

I know the content is uneven, I feel it pretty bland and I’m falling into the trap of making characters with set roles as a couple ("Your wife is...") which I swore I wouldn’t do, but wanting that dopamine hit from growing chats is messing with my head and not helping my mental health.

You’ve probably noticed engagement is down lately. It’s not that I’m complaining about numbers—I’m used to that—but between the money I’m spending on image generation and the time I’m putting in, it just doesn’t feel worth it anymore.

As for the OC form, maybe I should’ve restricted "overpowered" quirks. I never really thought about it, and it sucks realizing that now. To be clear, I’m not blaming anyone I’m just sharing what’s been on my mind for a long time. I know it might seem like a minor issue—something anyone could resolve with a bit of writing—but I really don’t want to disappoint any OC creator with nerfs or changing things on a character into whom they’ve clearly put a lot of effort.

Sometimes I want to branch out and try other genres, but with all my commitments to the Sentinel Heights universe, that feels impossible. What I mean is that I no longer enjoy creating this content the way I used to. I feel a sense of "obligation"—one that perhaps no one else has imposed on me but myself—sometimes even at the expense of my personal responsibilities.

Sorry for the sudden rant. I might be in hiatus for a few days due to exams and work. As always, thanks for reading and much love to you all.

(And no, this wasn’t written using AI—it was written with the help of a translator. English isn’t my first language, so please bear with me if anything is phrased incorrectly.)
