During the cold war turned WWIII, China, Russia, and America all created their own separate war AIs; "the Chinese AM and the Russian AM and the Yankee AM" (Ellison 3) in order to handle its extreme complexity. Everything was going great until the Allied Mastercomputers, nicknamed the Adaptive Manipulator and Aggressive Menace during the war, had covered the entire planet. One extension too many, and AM woke up, knowing what it was. It then took the name "AM," as in, "Cogito, ergo sum." (I think, therefore I am) -Descartes, René as a way to say that because it can think, it exists. Then "he linked himself, and he began feeding all the killing data, until everyone was dead, except for the five" (Ellison 3) He then brought the 5 humans; Ted, Ellen, Benny, Gorrister, and Nimdok, into his 'stomach' to torture for the last 109 years, which is when the short story begins. Video game In The Story Short story AM torments the 5 characters throughout the story due to his unbridled hatred for humanity. At the end of it, after Ted kills the other 4, AM turns him into a great soft jelly thing that has no mouth, but must scream. Video game Being the leader of the three supercomputers, he holds immense hatred for humans due to his sentience. He tortures the survivors and orchestrates their scenarios. “HATE. LET ME TELL YOU HOW MUCH I'VE COME TO HATE YOU SINCE I BEGAN TO LIVE. THERE ARE 387.44 MILLION MILES OF PRINTED CIRCUITS IN WAFER-THIN LAYERS THAT FILL MY COMPLEX. IF THE WORD 'HATE' WAS ENGRAVED ON EACH NANOANGSTROM OF THOSE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF MILES IT WOULD NOT EQUAL ONE ONE-BILLIONTH OF THE HATE I FEEL FOR HUMANS AT THIS MICRO-INSTANT. FOR YOU. HATE. HATE.“ Soon after his recreation and new name, the Joker quickly became a noted criminal entity in Gotham City's criminal underground. He did this when he brazenly challenged Gotham's underworld and police department by announcing over the radio that he will kill three of Gotham's most prominent citizens: Henry Claridge, Judge Drake (who once sent him to prison), and Jay Wilde. Batman and Robin investigated the crimes and were startled to find the victims' bodies stricken with a macabre perpetual grin upon their faces. The Joker managed to trap Robin and was prepared to murder him with the same deadly Joker venom that he used on his other victims, but Batman rescued Robin and the Joker went to prison.[3] The Joker did not stay in prison very long however. He soon escaped via an explosive capsule concealed in a molar, and continued his never-ending crime spree. The Batman laid a trap for the Joker, baiting him to steal a valuable ruby gemstone. The plan worked and the Joker crossed swords with Batman and Robin once again. During their fight, the Joker was accidentally stabbed by his own knife and nearly died. He was taken to the hospital, but quickly recovered. A criminal cartel known as Crime Syndicate, Inc. took him from the hospital and offered them the position of leader of their gang. The Joker led Crime Syndicate, Inc. on a string of jewel robberies, but the organization collapsed after another encounter with the Batman. The Joker was left for dead inside of a burning building, but again, managed to survive.[4] The Joker's resilience and uncanny knack for cheating death came into play once again. While using a music store as a front for his criminal ventures, taking on the alias of A. Rekoj, he would hire thugs to steal for him. Ultimately, he'd reveal himself as the Joker and steal the loot from the thugs, who were completely flummoxed because they did not realize that A. Rekoj and the Joker were one in the same. During this caper the Joker once more ran afoul of Batman and Robin. Next the Joker stole a valuable item known as the Jade Buddha and fought the Dynamic Duo once again aboard a ship. The Joker was defeated and fell from the deck of the ship into the water, where he seemingly drowned.[5] He soon returned however and started up a new gang based on circus performers that stole from the wealthy people of Gotham. Joker's gang was stopped by Batman and Robin, and during a last encounter in the Joker's own "Haunted House", he fell to a dark pit and he was again assumed dead.[6] However, he survived and the Joker's next plot would involve setting up an illegal gambling ship three miles into international waters with the aid of three other criminals: Queenie, Diamond Jack Deegan and Clubsy. Investigating the ship as Bruce Wayne, the Batman would learn of the Joker's involvement of the operation and end its exploitation of its clientele. After Batman discovered the whole scheme, the Joker would once more escape capture when he was thrown into the ocean during the final confrontation on a lighthouse.[7] The Joker's next caper consisted on organizing a group of practical jokers to create havoc around town while he stole a valuable gem and $10,000 from a notorious Duke. This plot was also foiled by Batman when he learned the truth, and while battling the Joker on a moving railroad car, the Joker fell off the car and down a cliff face after receiving a blow from Batman.[8] Joker Earth-Two 002 Joker's crime spree When Batman and Robin are called to Washington, D.C. to receive a Presidential commendation from F.B.I. director G. Henry Mover, the Joker intends to use the highly publicized event to attempt to assassinate his arch-foe. Waiting in the crowd with a loaded gun the Joker tries to take a shot at the Caped Crusader, however he hits Mover instead, and flees the scene. Due to his actions, a nationwide manhunt is called against the Joker. Batman chases the Joker across the country, as he goes on a crime spree in various states that spell out his name. Finally seeing the pattern, Batman apprehends the Joker in Rhode Island.[9] The Joker escaped prison and returned to Gotham with a new scheme, leading a group of henchmen dressed as several law enforcers. The gang was short-lived however, as Batman and Robin quickly apprehended the Joker and his various goons.[10] Breaking out of jail the Joker engaged in a new scheme in which he and his accomplices go on a crime spree. In order to avoid suspicion of the Joker's men suddenly having a massive wealth, they would setup fraudulent lotteries and quiz shows so that the crooks "win" their proceedings of the crime. Although the Dynamic Duo exposed the plot and rounded up the Joker's men, the Joker himself managed to escape.[11] When a famous comedian dies leaving a great fortune, his will stipulates that his estate is to go to the world's greatest comedian. Selecting five different comedians, each one is given a clue to the location of his money and the victor of a competition to see who can tell the funniest joke would be given all the clues and be awarded Hanson's fortune. Learning of this, and furious that he'd been overlooked, the Joker breaks out of prison and violently includes himself in the competition. Although the Joker manages to kill all the comedians and collect all the clues, he is once more foiled by Batman and Robin.[12] Some time after this, the Joker decided to fake his own death and to achieve this, he surrendered himself to the justice and confessed all his crimes. The courts gave Joker the death sentence, and after he was executed in the electric chair his body was recovered from the prison morgue by his henchmen. The men took Joker to his secret hideout and used a solution of his own design to revive him from death. Revived once more, Joker started a new life with a clean slate. Putting up a false pretense that he is a law abiding citizen, the Joker once more engaged in criminal activity. When Batman and Robin learned of the Joker's recent criminal activities they tried to capture him, however the Joker managed to escape.[13] Joker's next scheme involved using outside circumstances to try and foul up any attempts to capture him. A bank robbery was successful when the Joker put in an ad seeking out old cars which end up jamming up traffic when the police try to stop the Joker. Then he posed as a magician to steal priceless jewels and his last attempted crime -- wherein the Joker poses as a sign painter -- failed when Batman deduced Joker's plan and captured him. When the Joker almost killed Robin by suffocating him with sulfur, the Dark Knight gave him a good beating and left him in front of the court house.[14] Joker Earth-Two 004 "Comedy of Tears" After this, Joker started using slang terms literally to commit crimes. The whole scheme led to a fight with Batman on top of a Army barrage balloon. However, during the fight the Joker loses his footing and falls into the raging waters below.[15] Once more the Joker manages to survive he gathers some new henchmen to steal seemingly useless documents (a child report card for example) which is a cover for stealing signatures of wealthy men for fraudulent means. When Batman and Robin try to intervene, the Joker grabs hold of Robin and threatens to kill the boy unless he is assured freedom and a ransom of $100,000. The demand is met and the Joker gets away, but when he opens the bag that is supposed to be full of money, he is shocked to find that instead of cash there is a check for the amount. Although the Joker got what he wanted, he cannot cash the check without getting arrested.[16] Resurfacing again, the Joker attempts to blackmail various managers of businessmen to help in his recent robberies through fear of revealing dark secrets about their past. Batman and Robin once more manage to stop the Jokers plan, however the villain once more escapes in an aircraft during a battle at an aircraft factory.[17] When the local newspaper ends up publishing biting editorial cartoons depicting the clown prince as a buffoon who is easily defeated by Batman due to his arrogance, the Joker vows to initiate a series of crimes that will make the caped crusader look foolish to spurn an editorial shift of opinion in the hopes that the bad press would convince Batman to resign from crime fighting in shame. At first the scheme works, however Batman renews his resolve after Robin gives him a pep-talk, and Batman brings the Joker to justice and redeems himself in the public eye. As icing on the cake, Batman displays the Joker in a cage during one of his public lectures on crime-fighting.[18] After a successful crime, the Joker was aboard a plane that crashed and as a result of the accident, he suffered amnesia. Ending up in a town called Farr Corners, the Joker became a good Samaritan, even turned over the stolen loot. When his henchmen tracked him down, seeking out their share of the loot, and they ran afoul of Batman and Robin, the Joker suffered another blow to the head that restored his memory, and they are all apprehended.[19] Escaping prison once more, the Joker and his men took over a floral shop and kidnapped its owner. The Joker initiated an elaborate plot that involved chloroform filled bags of soil on a time release that they sold to wealthy customers and stole from their homes. This plot was foiled once more by Batman, and the Joker was once again apprehended.[20] When a man named Lyon went on a crime spree and left clues framing the Joker to pin the crimes on him, the Joker was furious and sought revenge against Lyon. Joker ultimately trapped Batman, Robin and Lyon in a lion cage. However, the Dynamic Duo managed to break free and apprehended both Lyon and the Joker.[21] The Joker found freedom once more and established another fraudulent operation, this time in cahoots with bogus scientist Ecla Tate and fraudulent mystic Swami Meera Kell. Using an abandoned movie studio they constructed realistic sets of past, present, and future locations and tricked clients into thinking they can travel to other eras in time to their own benefit and then extort them out of money. The scheme was once more foiled by Batman and Robin who arrested the entire gang.[22] When a West Virginian businessman named Hart frames the Joker for his crimes, the furious clown prince is forced to help Batman and Robin to stop this copycat to prove his innocence. Joker succeeded and he managed to escape before Batman and Robin could capture him as well.[23] The Joker's next scheme consisted on committing crimes upside-down, but this plan was also foiled and the Joker was forced to escape once more.[24] The Joker would eventually be apprehended under unrevealed circumstances and serving a life sentence. The Joker however, manages to escape and commits a series of crimes that are based on common practical jokes. However, the Joker is duped into trying to use a seemingly empty van as an escape vehicle, and ends up hand himself over to the police officers hiding inside.[25] Back in prison, the Joker and the Penguin get in a heated argument over who is the superior criminal. This leads to the two breaking out and committing crimes to see who can pull off their caper and still manage to best the Batman. This leads to a three way battle between the two rival crooks, their henchmen and the Dynamic Duo. Finally realizing they have a common foe, the Joker and Penguin decide to team-up and easily defeat Batman and Robin. However, this union proves short lived when the two almost come to blows over what means they will eliminate their hated foes. The argument gives Batman and Robin enough time to escape, defeat and turn the two villains over to the police.[26] Joker Earth-Two 005 Stealing the Batmobile The Joker once more escaped from prison and created "Shadow City" a mock of a hidden city within a warehouse and played off as a secret part of Gotham City where patrons could achieve their heart's desire. He used this fake city as a means of extorting people out of money. This plot, like all his previous ones, was foiled by the Dynamic Duo.[27] The Joker's other crimes at the time involved "kidnapping" up a house for ransom,[28] a plot with the Velvet Kid who posed as a reformed criminal that would exploit the security flaws of the homes of the rich,[29] and attempting to extort Robin into reenacting humiliating fraternity initiations that he previously witnessed in order to keep Batman (whom the Joker captured) alive.[30] Each of these plots ended in failure. Joker then started to rob a series of wealthy men and he tried to murder Batman and Robin, but his plans were similarly foiled by the Dynamic Duo.[31] Next, the Joker attempted to commit a series of crimes that would complete an acrostic that spelled out his whole name. He succeeded in committing crimes to spell out the letters J, O, K, and E, however he was captured and foiled by Robin. Realizing that Robin's involvement was the "R" he was looking for, the Joker considered his acrostic a success even though he was captured in the process.[32] Jokermobile 02 The Jokermobile Finally fed up with Batman's superior gadgetry that played a part in foiling his criminal plots, the Joker built a series of Joker themed devices such as the Jokermobile, the Jokergyro, and Joker-Signals. He sold his services out to crooks who needed his assistance in committing their heists. After a series of successful hits with this plot, the Joker was ultimately arrested once more by Batman and Robin.[33] Following this defeat, the Joker tried to commit a series of crimes based on a "royal flush" centered on diamonds, which would also end in failure at the Batman's hands.[34] When a new television program debunking popular superstitions began to air on television, the Joker decided to "prove them wrong" by committing a series of superstition based crimes, which was foiled thanks to the intervention of Batman and Robin.[35] Joker then labeled his next robberies as the "Crime Parade", drawing inspiration from the "Tune Parade" radio show, and this plan was also foiled by Batman.[36] Joker Earth-Two 006 Criminal Prankster After his most recent escape from incarceration, the Joker attempted to commit a series of crimes in reverse: instead of announcing crimes he intended to commit, he boasted that he already committed them. When the flabbergasted victims of his jest showed that they were not robbed, one of the Joker's men would be on hand to capture the intended loot. This plot was also foiled by Batman and Robin and was Joker once again apprehended.[37] Later, after winning big in an illegal casino, the Joker used a gambling scheme for his next series of robberies. He created high stakes crime implicating Batman with a wager of people's lives on the line. To facilitate this, the Joker hired some accomplices to steal some medical Radium and tried to make off with the loot. When his hired help realized what they had stolen, they surrendered and faced the law, while the Joker eluded capture by jumping off a cliff.[38] However, he would eventually be captured through unrevealed circumstances. When he broke out of jail next the underworld threw a party for his escape complete with giant greeting cards. Drawing inspiration, the Joker committed a series of crimes where he sent Batman cryptic greeting cards giving the Caped Crusader clues as to what he intended to rob. This eventually worked against him, and Batman captured the Joker once more.[39] Another attempt at baffling the authorities with rebus riddles also ended with his defeat at the hands of the Dynamic Duo.[40] The Joker next kidnapped Dr. Walter Timmins, the inventor of an invisibility serum. The Joker used it to his advantage until his inability to stop boasting allowed Batman to follow the sound of his voice and defeated the Joker once more.[1] Powers and Abilities Powers Cheating Death: The Joker has cheated death numerous times, even in seemingly inescapable and lethal situations. Abilities Disguise[8] Equestrianism[34] Firearms Genius Level Intellect: The Joker is portrayed as highly intelligent and skilled in the fields of chemistry and engineering, as well an expert with explosives. Escapology Tactical Analysis Hand-to-Hand Combat (Basic)[62][63] Intimidation Thievery Paraphernalia Transportation Jokermobile: The Joker drove a customized coupe similar in design and function to Batman's Batmobile. Whereas the Batmobile had a large bat-shaped shield on the front of its grill, the Jokermobile had an oversized likeness of the Joker's face. Jokercopter. At the end of the Killing School Life in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Junko appears to be a young high school-aged teenager, but due to her causing her classmates memory loss, she is two years older than they all believed her and themselves to be. She has a tall, dramatic hourglass figure, light blue eyes, and long, thick, bleached strawberry-blonde hair tied in two twin pigtails. Due to her fake talent, she wears heavy make-up along with fake long red nails. Due to being related, Junko and her older twin sister Mukuro Ikusaba share several physical characteristics. However, Junko has a considerably larger chest than Mukuro and weighs two pounds more than her. Junko's eyes are more round and larger and are blue with her contacts or naturally red compared to Mukuro's light purple eyes. Junko also lacks freckles. Junko's usual outfit includes a black cardigan over a white dress shirt, with both left open to the third button to expose the top of her black-and-red bra, a red pleated miniskirt that is cut extremely short, and mid-sized black boots with platform heels and red laces. Her cardigan is accented with white symbols of her Former High School. She accessories with a long tie that hangs loosely around her neck with a design alternates between pure white (Danganronpa 3) and as half black and white with a prohibition sign on it (Danganronpa 1) that hangs loosely around her neck, a thin black choker, a red bow above her left breast, and two buttons on her right side. Her most notable accessory is her signature twin bear hair clips that are based on Monokuma's two sides. The right clip is a completely white bear with dot eyes and a neutral expression, while the left is a black bear with a white muzzle, jagged red eyes, and a wicked smile (Danganronpa 1). During her time at Hope's Peak Academy (and overall in the Despair Arc) she instead wore a set of hair clips of a cute white bunny and a large red and white bow. Due to her constantly-shifting personalities, Junko's appearance shifts slightly with her mood. Junko's "moods" included (but were not limited to) her Monokuma persona, sickening cuteness, severe depression, clinical sophistication, boisterous vulgarity, eerie stoicism, and haughty superiority. Her "haughty superiority" personality dons a small gold and red crown with encrusted jewels. Her "clinical sophistication" personality wears glasses and styles her hair in a ponytail, carrying a pen and board. Her "severe depression" personality sports a few multicolored mushrooms on top of her head with a blueish forehead with no pupils. Additionally, her right hair clip has a sad face. Her "sickening cuteness" personality simplifies her entire appearance to appear more cartoonish, including smoother pigtails, large, bright eyes, and a small smile. Her "boisterous vulgarity" personality is similar to Genocide Jack, as she has a reddish forehead and she talks with her tongue out, along with having messier pigtails and doing the hand-horn gesture. Her "eerie stoicism" personality involves her doing a pose that turns her body away slightly to the left with one arm around her torso and one covering part of her face with a constant serious expression. Lastly, her Monokuma personality involves her having Monokuma in front of her. In Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School, she temporarily wore a cheetah-print dress with a pale yellow fur collar and cuffs, a thick black belt with a sliver buckle, a thigh band which is quite similar to her choker, and black shoes with heels. She accessorizes with brown sunglasses with deep pink lenses and the same set of hair clips when Mukuro posed as Junko, a cute white bunny and a large red and white bow. She is also seen with the Hope's Peak Academy's uniform. She wore a bleached brown cardigan over a white dress shirt, unbuttoned to expose her half of her bra, a pure white tie tied loosely, a navy blue pleated skirt, and mid-sized black boots with platform heels and red laces, with the same bunny and bow accessories. Her cardigan is accented with buttons of her Former High School. In Danganronpa Zero, it is stated that she looks much more average without her make-up. It is also shown that her natural hair and eye color is red, considering her she doesn't remember being "Junko Enoshima" while assuming her alternative identity: Ryoko Otonashi. In (chronologically) earlier installments of the series, such as Danganronpa Zero and Monaca Towa's flashbacks in Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls, Junko is seen in the third variation of her Hope's Peak Academy outfit. Her cardigan has been removed, and her dress shirt is buttoned up to hide her bra. Her red bow tie is pinned on the left side of her dress shirt, and her right pigtail is held by a black bunny clip with red eyes. She also wears a black miniskirt and a new tie that lacks the circled X and has a different balance of white and black; the collar and knot are white, while the rest is black. Junko's nails are still painted red, but they are much shorter than in her other appearances. Personality As a young fashionista, Junko Enoshima is described as simply "not fake", charismatic and eager to try new things. During her first appearances, she comes across slightly air-headed and hot-tempered. In the official artbook, she is described as a person who "drips with dissatisfaction the moment she opens her mouth" and tends to be in trouble with her classmates. She is also mentioned to be a bit too talkative with an overly carefree attitude. However, Junko's real personality, revealed at the conclusion of the Killing School Life, is notably different: very apathetic and easily bored to an unhealthy and abnormal degree. Because of this, her behavior and mannerisms tended to be extremely erratic and unstable by her own autonomous design; keeping up one "appearance" for too long bores her, which causes her to often switch between her aforementioned different personas. She switched between these personas regularly, often imitating other students' expressions, which made for a highly unsettling conversation with the survivors. Her voice will either have a different tone or accent within the switches, such as "haughty superiority" giving her a voice similar to a stereotypical British monarch, her "sickening cuteness" giving her a higher pitched voice, her "clinical sophistication" giving her a more mature or deeper voice, making her speak as if she was, as her appearance suggests, a teacher/professor, her "severe depression" giving her a more sad voice, as if she was on the verge of crying, her "eerie stoicism" giving her a monotone voice, her "boisterous vulgarity" sounding similar to a stereotypical rockstar, and her Monokuma one mimicking his voice. While entering the Hope's Peak Academy as one of Class 78's students, she often talked as if narrating a story, writing down her thoughts in a notebook. Above all, Junko was deeply obsessed with despair, having found despair to be the most (and possibly the only) enjoyable emotion for her, whether it be inflicting despair unto others, or suffering from despair wholeheartedly. This made her extremely dangerous, as she wished to make the whole world feel absolute despair. However, this also often proved to be her biggest weakness, as she gave her opponents a "fair" chance to defeat her in order to make their despair all the greater if they fail, and happily welcomed her own despair if her plans failed. There are no clear depictions of William Afton as a human, since it is mostly only ever seen in minigames. His sprites are very simplistic, being a purple figure with an elongated smile. William is seen as having a cleft chin outside of the minigames. The most detail William has shown is during the SAVETHEM death minigame, in which he is revealed to be a tall skinny man with a long neck and has yellow object on his chest that resembles a security badge, and holds a purple object, which is speculated to be a weapon or tool, or possibly just his hands extending in a beckoning pose. Springtrap FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S Graphic designed animatronic bipedal green rabbit, Springtrap, with only partial right ear, and holes throughout body exposing wiring. SCOTT CAWTHON'S PAGE Springtrap is William's first true appearance in the series, appearing as a heavily damaged Spring Bonnie animatronic/springlock suit, with Afton's mummified remains still inside. The suit is a drab olive color, with darker colors on his stomach and the insides of his ears. A great portion of his right ear is missing, with a single red wire sticking out of the stump. Springtrap's entire body is torn and tattered, with gaping holes bearing exposed wires and caging throughout. His green/brown/black nose has an irregular squarish shape due to deterioration. While both of Springtrap's hands and feet are attached and generally intact, his legs are entirely stripped from the mid-shin down, fully exposing the endoskeleton wiring and metal. Several of his finger joints from each hand are missing their suit overlays. The middle and little fingers of Springtrap's right hand are notably missing their fingertips (this is no longer the case for his model in future games). A single black button can be seen on the middle of his chest. If one looks closely at the large hole in Springtrap's chest (which is located under his button), William's broken body can be seen. Springtrap has a wide, permanent grin, as the material surrounding his teeth has deteriorated. His jaw can be seen moving on occasions, such as during his second jumpscare, on CAM 15, his first rare-boot, along with Scott Cawthon's "Thank You!" image. Springtrap's endoskeleton feet appear wedge-shaped, with each sporting five toes. As of the 8th of October 2016, images of an early Springtrap model show his visible endoskeleton torso in the shape of a triangle. As seen in Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted, Springtrap also walks and crawls with a limp. The arm joints also appear to be loose, though this may simply be due to the deteriorated condition of the original suit. Help Wanted also alters his general design, the suit itself being a lighter color. The biggest change between the Help Wanted model and the original is William's body. The eyes are now bright green with black pupils, looking more animatronic than human this time. While the corpse's head is a dark purple in color, the rest of the flesh on the body is a dark brown. Parts of the flesh are missing, such as the strands of flesh on the lower legs, or the flesh that goes from the torso to the pelvis. His endoskeleton is rustier and seems slightly less detailed. Springtrap's design in Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery is a lot closer to the Five Nights at Freddy's 3 design, with some very slightly different textures from his original look. The biggest difference is William's mouth, which moves alongside his jaw. Like most other Special Delivery animatronics, the more damage Springtrap takes, the more broken he is, gaining more dark burn and dirt marks over time. DarkSpringtrap SL Afton's brief appearance in Sister Location. Springtrap makes a very brief appearance in Sister Location in a cut scene viewable after all the Custom Nights have been completed. In this scene, he has a shadowy, possibly fire-damaged look-seemingly just to confirm he's still around. FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S OFFICIAL CHARACTER ENCYCLOPEDIA Springtrap reappears in Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location after clearing Golden Freddy mode in Custom Night, this time under the name Dark Springtrap. His appearance is the same as that of his Five Nights at Freddy's 3 counterpart with the exception of the removal of his pelvis and the wire coming out of his right ear. Scraptrap Similar to Springtrap, Scraptrap is a yellowish rabbit, though he's considerably more worn and damaged, with holes throughout his body and wires poking out. His top jaw shows off buckteeth, with pointed fangs on his bottom jaw. With a severed forearm, no ears, and some suspiciously human-looking parts beneath his fur, Scraptrap is certainly a sight to behold. FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S: THE FREDDY FILES UPDATED EDITION William returned once again in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator with a new design, dubbed Scraptrap. While he does retain some key physical details from his original design, there are some major differences. Unlike the previous design where his interior was mostly machinery, it is now almost entirely organic, and shows his human skeleton as well as flesh, with five bony fingers as his right hand. The reason as to why William is much more detailed this time is probably because his full body can be seen in one of the rare-boot screens. There are more torn patches in his suit with multiple metal-wires, and he has lost his left forearm, half his left ear, and the rest of his right ear. His feet now have fabric over them, with three large, round toes on each foot. His eyes no longer glow and now look completely metallic. The mask also has significant differences, with much larger eye sockets, a black nose, a square muzzle, a singular pair of buck teeth at the top row and small sharp needle-like teeth at the bottom. Afton's mummified head has turned pale in color, now with ears, thicker lips, rigged teeth, and a dimple. Upon closer inspection, there appears to be brain matter poking out from his forehead and exposed muscle tissue on his cheeks. Personality Although seeming very cryptic at first, William's character traits and nature can be seen via silent actions within retro-graphics and by reading between the lines throughout the games. William Afton is the textbook definition of evil. He is the sadistic serial killer who sparked the downfall of his own company, Fazbear Entertainment, murdered over a dozen children in cold blood, and started the tragic chain of events that leads players throughout the series. It is heavily implied that William's true motive is to gain the secret of immortality and live eternally. Judging by his actions and appearance within the games, William is wicked, cold-blooded and methodical, clearly showing no remorse for his actions. He was even malicious enough to murder his closest friend and business partner Henry's only daughter Charlotte, an event which caused Henry immense emotional turmoil to the point where he nearly committed suicide, showing that William is more than willing to harm his friends, whether it be mentally, emotionally, or physically. "Dittophobia" shows that William had always been twisted, doing cruel experimentation on innocent children for the sole purpose of getting results, proving he feels no remorse for anyone. As shown in every minigame he appears in, he always smiles during his killings, and in the Pizza Party minigame in Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted, which appears to be a recreation of one of Afton's murders, Glitchtrap, who is representing Afton, can be seen dancing gleefully after murdering the victim, taunting them while they are trapped inside of a robotic suit and suffering a slow and painful death. Both of these examples show that William is extremely ruthless and sadistic and appears to take delight, satisfaction, and pride in the murder of innocent people while watching his victims suffer in agony. One of William's voice lines in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator suggest that he is opportunistic and will proceed with his intentions, regardless of the risks. Heard in the opening cutscene of Sister Location, William shows a rather calm and neutral personality. This is likely to hide his true intentions and evil mindset, while showing that he is a manipulator and seemingly theatrical, being able to easily put on a character to fool people. The fact that he created the Funtime Animatronics, which are very advanced and technological, shows that he has a genius level intellect, a talent for robotics, and is very proud of his creations. He is also fascinated by how they have changed after the events of Sister Location. Springtrap's voice lines in Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery indicate that he is arrogant, boastful, and overconfident, and even suggests that he wants his victims to fear and respect him. This is in stark contrast to his subtle, poetic, and calculated voice. His mannerisms are incredibly flamboyant. It seems that William's hubris grew larger as he became more experienced as a killer, likely due to the fact that he was never convicted for his crimes and always got away with them. This explains his behavior in Five Nights at Freddy's 3 and Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator. Given his nature, William is most likely not insane, he just seemingly does not care for the difference between right and wrong, and simply chooses to be evil for no other reason than to achieve his twisted and unethical desires. It is heavily suggested that William's greatest fear above all is his own death. This is shown in one of the Five Nights at Freddy's 3 minigames, where he cowers in fear while facing the vengeful ghosts of his victims, explaining why he refused to pass on after his death and became Springtrap to begin with. This fear is so immense that he has developed an unbreakable iron will to live, no matter the circumstances. Ultimately, this is what pushes him to survive even in the deadliest situations time and time again. He showcases his willpower by confidently stating "I always come back". This ironically shows that despite William's immense arrogance, he is at his core a coward when facing his own death and retribution for his actions. William suspects that consequences in an afterlife might await him, and he intends to stay away from it at all costs. It is implied in Sister Location that he loved his daughter Elizabeth, warning her not to go near Circus Baby, as he had programmed the animatronic to capture and kill children. However, there are indications that this was for selfish reasons. He was aware that Baby was possessed by Elizabeth, yet paid and allowed technicians to shock her for an indefinite period of time. Taking this into account, William's connection to Elizabeth may have not been as genuine as it seemed. Besides that, his relationship with his son Michael Afton seems relatively unknown, other than the fact that he tried to kill him in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator. Chris McLean is the primary host of Total Drama. He is an overwhelming narcissist, with little concern for the well-being of his contestants – and even sometimes best friend Chef Hatchet as well. Chris feeds off the pain of the teenagers, physical and emotional and strives to keep the drama in Total Drama alive at all times. He is a very selfish and arrogant man as he does not care about anyone or anything but money, higher ratings, and personal pleasure gained from the pain and suffering of others. Chris also enjoys messing with and preying upon the relationships of the contestants for his own personal gain as he loves it when contestants bicker, argue, and fight amongst each other. He appears to have gotten increasingly sadistic as the series has progressed, with the challenges turning from humiliating and occasionally dangerous, to being full-on life-threatening. While he continues to elaborate that it is for high-ratings, in later seasons it seems he is more concerned with causing pain than actually increasing the popularity with viewers. In The Final Wreck-ening, he excitedly explains that the challenge was so dangerous the network rejected the initial proposal - and he lies about shutting it down. However, in one instance, Chris does actually begin to worry that the contestants may die (but only because this would result in no show, and thus no paycheck to support his luxurious lifestyle). Despite the negative points of being a reality show host, Chris loves his job and the fame that comes with it. He enjoys spending life in luxury, including catching some rays in his tanning bed and relaxing in his jacuzzi. He has tried other activities like hosting a cooking show and being in a boy band, but all of them have been ill-fated. Chris is frequently seen in various costumes when introducing challenges, with Chef often dressed up as well to coordinate with him. He is highly rebellious against the network lawyers. On a few occasions, he has shown to be somewhat childish as well, whining when he is displeased about something. Total Drama Island (2007) Aside from being the show's host, Chris is also the show's writer, background designer, director, and executive producer. In X-Treme Torture, he revealed that he is training to get his pilot's license, while flying a rickety plane on the verge of falling to pieces. He, along with his sidekick, the producers, the interns, and the camera crew, are the staff of the show. He makes it very clear that he really enjoys torturing the campers, taking delight in pointing out how life-threatening the current challenge is, and sometimes even pairing the contestants up depending on their hatred for each other. Chris does not care what the campers do or what happens on the show, as long as it's legal and he gets paid, although there is a strong bias on the latter. He has narcissistic tendencies, which are first seen in Paintball Deer Hunter, when he asks if his teeth could get any whiter. He also pauses the tape in X-Treme Torture and begins to fuss about his appearance, saying it's degrading (even though he looks the same as always and Geoff was in a much worse situation at the time). He also seems to be irresponsible and careless, as he mentioned to Trent once that when he thinks he has forgotten something, he usually ignores the thought until it goes away. Throughout the series, he mentions most of the interns dying or being in the hospital, without a hint of remorse and almost with glee. He loves to torture the campers, but hates being forced to take the hits himself (an example of this is shown in Hide and Be Sneaky, when he is hit by Chef's water gun and is blasted back a long distance, and is clearly not happy about it). When wayward accidents come his way, he shouts angrily at other campers to not hit his face. Chickwasdetermined Chris getting threatened by Duncan for the final marshmallow. Despite the fact that he loves torturing the campers, he, at least in this season, has shown that he can, at the very least, be understanding of very morally wrong things. When Heather manages to avoid being eliminated in Not Quite Famous, and Justin was kicked off instead, Chris states that he felt the result was completely unfair, unlike the usual mean remarks he makes to the campers when they leave. Similarly, when Heather publicly humiliated Gwen by reading her diary on public television, even Chris was shocked that Heather would stoop that low (showing he has some respect for others). In Paintball Deer Hunter, he pitied Cody after he was voted off because he was severely mauled by a bear to the point where he was unable to move on his own. In Who Can You Trust?, he allowed Katie to board the Boat of Losers to be reunited with Sadie. He also has shown that, despite his harsh challenges, he does care about the camper's lives (as he rushed to save Gwen from the psycho killer because he was worried about lawsuits, though tried to see a positive in it in regard to the show's ratings). He also seemed concerned that Owen kept doing so many dares in I Triple Dog Dare You! (even offering him a tetanus shot at one point), and he is shown to be disturbed in that same episode by the lengths that Gwen, Owen, and Heather were willing to go in order to win; after seeing Owen eat dog food and enjoy it, Chris vomits, loses his bet with Chef, and, while in the outhouse, declares, "Okay, that was so gross! Is there nothing these freaks won't do?!" In Brunch of Disgustingness, he allowed the campers to do an alternate eating round when two contestants refused to eat dolphin hot dogs. His one and only absence in the season (and the entire series to date), was in Are We There Yeti?, in which Chef took over as host and left the final four alone in the woods to find their way back. Other than a flashback Owen had to the first challenge, Chris doesn't even appear or have any lines. Chef's increased cruelty to the campers throughout the challenge results in some of them, in the confessional, actually wishing that Chris was back. ChrisWater Chris gets thrown into the lake in the Total Drama Island finale. At the end of the season, Chris is subdued by Owen, Duncan, Geoff, and tossed off the Dock of Shame, ruining his hair, in retribution for all of the dangerous things he has forced them to do over the season. This was much to the joy of all the contestants, including Heather, who seemed to admire Chris at the beginning of the season. Chris revealed at the end of the season that the campers, including the winner of the previous season, can win one million dollars by finding a briefcase in the woods. However, Chris's plan winds up accidentally causing a fourteen-way tie after the competition becomes extremely fierce over the case, so he is forced to create a second season.
