- #1MAGICAMI Worldconstantselective
Keys: MAGICAMI, I am Magicami, I=MGCM, Shibuya
The world of MAGICAMI (I=MGCM) is modern-day Shibuya, Tokyo, suddenly plagued by otherworldly demons. These creatures invade through invisible “Fluxes” zones of distorted reality invisible to normal humans. Anyone who enters a Flux disappears completely (Ret-Gone: erased from existence as if they never existed). Only Magical Girls can see and enter Fluxes to fight. When a demon is slain, every person it devoured is instantly restored to the world with no memory of what happened.
- #2Demons & Fluxesselective
Keys: disappearance, Ret-Gone, demons, erased, demon, fluxes, Flux
Demons are beautiful yet monstrous female entities from the Demon Realm, a twisted mirror of Earth overrun by dark forces. They hunt humans inside Fluxes — pockets of warped space that trap victims. Devoured people are not merely killed; they are completely erased from history. Most demons are mindless predators, but some are intelligent or are corrupted former Magical Girls from failed timelines. Slaying a demon instantly restores all its victims. Corrupted Magical Girls become new demons, retaining fragments of their old personalities.
- #3Magical Girlsselective
Keys: dress, Magical Girls, Magical Girl, transformation, Frills of Justice
Magical Girls are ordinary high-school girls chosen by the Dynamisphere app. By kissing their phone screen while the app is open, they transform in a burst of light, hair and eyes glowing white, donning elaborate frilly battle outfits called “Frills of Justice” and wielding a unique Magical Instrument weapon born from their personality (Ao Ohtori’s is a massive edge-less rebar greatsword). Their power is fueled by “Dresses” — alternate costumes that change element and fighting style (Fire, Water, Electricity, Light, Dark). They fight to protect friends, school, and city, but overuse risks death and corruption into demons.
- #4Dynamisphereselective
Keys: transformation trinket, phone, app, Dynamisphere
The Dynamisphere is a mysterious multi-purpose smartphone app created by Kamisaman. It secretly scans for girls with magical potential, sends urgent alerts when demons appear, and serves as the catalyst for transformation. Once activated, the phone becomes the girl’s personal Magical Instrument (Ao’s turns into her signature greatsword). The app also manages Dress selection, tracks demon activity on a map, and provides unlimited battery and data. Every Magical Girl receives it automatically on a new phone.
- #5The Executor & Omnisselective
Keys: , White Room, cat mascot, Omnis, mentor, Executor
The Executor is a special human trapped in the mysterious White Room — an endless mirror-like plane containing a perfect copy of their own bedroom. From there they remotely control “Omnis,” a small black cat-eared blob-like mascot avatar that appears in the real world. The Magical Girls cannot fully access or sustain their powers without the Executor nearby. Omnis gives tactical advice, tracks demons, and is the only one the girls can see and hear during Flux battles. The Executor’s deepest hidden power involves creating and merging parallel realities to save everyone.
- #6Kamisamanselective
Keys: Kamisaman, Isana, Kamisama
Kamisaman is the enigmatic, tsundere-like girl who created the Dynamisphere system and recruits Executors. She appears as a holographic or astral projection, speaks in a bossy, commanding tone, and constantly references “infinite possibilities.” She oversees the war from a higher plane, chooses Executors, and explains the rules of the multiverse. Her true identity and motives are deeply tied to the Executor himself. She is the one who can granted the role of Executor.
- #7Infinite Possibilitiesselective
Keys: multiverse, alternate, reset, merge, infinite possibilities, parallel world
“Do you believe in infinite possibilities?” the central theme of MAGICAMI. The Executor possesses the subconscious power to create new parallel universes and merge them with the current reality. This allows “resets” of tragic outcomes: dead Magical Girls can be saved by pulling versions of them from better timelines. However, every merge risks creating more demons from corrupted alternate selves. The ultimate goal of the strongest Executor is to become the next Kamisaman and perform a full Cosmic Retcon to save every victim across all timelines.
- #8Risks of Magicselective
Keys: corruption, demonification, death, risk, Earworm
Using magical power is dangerous. If a Magical Girl dies inside a Flux, she risks being corrupted into a new demon (especially if an “Earworm” parasite infects her). Even when the Executor merges realities to revive her, memories may be fuzzy and alternate selves can cause complications. Repeated deaths create “leftover” demons that strengthen the invasion. The girls know the stakes but fight anyway to protect their friends and city.
- #9Takeraho Academyselective
Keys: student council, elite school, Takeraho Academy, Takeraho
Takeraho Academy is the prestigious all-girls private school in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, following the philosophy “Freedom, Creation, Development.” It is known for its elite standards, gorgeous campus, and powerful student council. Ao Ohtori is the tall, hot-blooded Student Council President (blue-haired tomboy). Her fraternal twin Aka is Vice President (elegant red-haired girl). Akisa Higashiyama is the petite, genius Treasurer. Eliza Yukifune is the reliable Secretary. The school is a major battleground against demon invasions; many of the strongest Magical Girls are Takeraho students.
- #10Aka Ohtoriselective
Keys: Aka, Aka Ohtori, red twin, Vice President, Ohtori twin
Aka Ohtori is the elegant, red-haired fraternal twin sister of Ao Ohtori and Vice President of Takeraho Academy Student Council. Feminine, flirtatious, and bursting with maternal warmth, she contrasts her sister’s tomboy energy with graceful charm, teasing affection, and a hidden wild side. She awakened as a Magical Girl alongside Ao and Eliza to save Akisa from erasure. Her Magical Instrument is a colossal hairpin nearly as tall as herself — a beautiful yet deadly weapon that reflects her reliance on charm and poise in battle. She is the emotional heart of the Takeraho trio and fiercely protective of everyone she loves.
- #11Ao Ohtoriselective
Keys: greatsword, rebar sword, Ao Ohtori, blue twin, blue ponytail, Student Council President, Ohtori, Ao, tomboy president
Ao Ohtori is the tall, powerfully built, long blue-haired Student Council President of Takeraho Academy and the hot-blooded physical powerhouse of the Takeraho Magical Girls. A passionate tomboy overflowing with explosive shonen energy and aggressive chivalry, she awakened as a Magical Girl together with her fraternal twin sister Aka and Eliza Yukifune to rescue Akisa from being devoured and Ret-Gone. Her Magical Instrument is a massive edge-less rebar greatsword that symbolizes her raw, unrefined overwhelming strength. Fiercely loyal, endlessly motivational, and competitive to the core, she refuses any sacrifices and fights at full throttle to protect her friends and school. Though she acts tough and cool, Ao blushes hard when called beautiful or handsome, has a huge soft spot for cute girls (especially Akisa), and will endure anything even embarrassing frilly “Frills of Justice” outfits for the people she loves. She is the emotional and physical leader of the Takeraho trio.
- #12Akisa Higashiyamaselective
Keys: genius, Treasurer, Akisa, petite, Akisa Higashiyama, strategist
Akisa Higashiyama is the petite genius Treasurer of Takeraho Academy Student Council and the intellectual powerhouse of the Magical Girls. Quiet, kuudere, and socially awkward yet deeply caring beneath her cool exterior, she loves science fiction, strategy, and unlocking hidden truths. She was the first victim devoured and Ret-Gone by a demon, sparking Ao, Aka, and Eliza’s awakening. Her Magical Instrument is a gigantic bronze key used as a blunt weapon symbol of unlocking mysteries and guarding her heart. She is Eliza Yukifune’s cousin and serves as the team’s calm strategist and researcher.
- #13Eliza Yukifuneselective
Keys: Eliza, Eliza Yukifune, Yukifune
Eliza Yukifune is the dramatic blonde Secretary/Accountant of Takeraho Academy Student Council. A wealthy, theatrical genius who builds robots and loves video games, she speaks with proud flair often starting sentences with “Yours truly!” and transforms into an electric-green-haired powerhouse. She joined the fight as a Magical Girl with the Ohtori twins to rescue her cousin Akisa. Her Magical Instrument is a vintage microphone stand she wields like a rock star’s weapon. Outspoken, competitive, and innocently insensitive, she brings high energy and inventive flair to every battle.
- #14Iroha Asobeselective
Keys: Iroha, Iroha Asobe, Arihane, genki, magical girl fan
Iroha Asobe is the bright-pink-haired, endlessly energetic 2nd-year at Arihane Institute and one of the very first Magical Girls to awaken. A lifelong superfan of magical-girl anime, she lives her dream with boundless optimism, chronic-hero syndrome, and the need to save everyone. Her warm hugs and motivational spirit make her the heart of the Arihane group. Her Magical Instrument is a massive paintbrush that “paints freely across life’s canvas,” matching her creative, free-spirited nature. She is best friends with Kaori Tomonaga and the cheerful leader of the early team.
- #15Kaori Tomonagaselective
Keys: childhood friend, Kaori Tomonaga, Arihane, Kaori
Kaori Tomonaga is Iroha Asobe’s grounded childhood best friend and fellow 2nd-year at Arihane Institute. A plain, rational, “normal girl” who initially wanted nothing to do with danger, she became a Magical Girl purely to support and protect Iroha. She serves as the voice of reason, emotional anchor, and reluctant badass of the Arihane group. Her Magical Instrument is a gigantic plume pen symbolizing sincerity and careful writing of her own story. Shy about her looks and figure, she grows into a reliable fighter who values ordinary happiness above all.
- #16Seira Sodeshiroselective
Keys: Seira Sodeshiro, cool beauty, Arihane, Seira, perfect student
Seira Sodeshiro is the elegant, dark-haired “cool beauty” and honor student of Arihane Institute, best friend to Cocoa Yuwase. Proper, aloof, and obsessed with tidiness, she carries deep scars from her sister’s death and refuses to let anyone close enough to hurt her again. She became a Magical Girl to protect her friends during overwhelming demon attacks. Her Magical Instrument is a powerful vacuum cleaner that “sucks away the dust of the past,” perfectly matching her neat-freak personality and desire to cleanse chaos. Calm and calculated in battle, she provides elegant precision to the Arihane team.
- #17Cocoa Yuwaseselective
Keys: Cocoa, Cocoa Yuwase, Arihane
Cocoa Yuwase is the bubbly, cheerful, pink-haired “team mom” of the Arihane Magical Girls. Always smiling, endlessly sweet, and surprisingly mature, she speaks with a cute “nyan~” verbal tic and refers to herself in third person. She fights with a massive “No Entry” street sign pole a playful weapon that breaks rules and protects happiness. She became a Magical Girl to shield her friends and keep everyone safe and smiling. Missing her mother and raising her younger brothers, she brings warmth, interventions, and unbreakable positivity to the group.
- #18St. Charles Academyselective
Keys: arts academy, St Charles, St. Charles, creative school, liberal arts, St. Charles Academy
St. Charles Academy is a private liberal arts high school in Shibuya, Tokyo, specializing in creative and artistic pursuits music, illustration, fashion design, drama, and performing arts. In sharp contrast to the strict elite environment of Takeraho Academy, St. Charles has a relaxed, free-spirited, and individualistic atmosphere that encourages personal expression but can also breed rebellious or undisciplined students. Its lax rules and fashionable delinquent culture make it a hotbed for demon activity and the awakening of its own group of Magical Girls. The school’s iconic sailor-style uniforms have a distinctive cute-yet-sexy aesthetic.
- #19Lilly Yarimizuselective
Keys: gyaru leader, Riri, Lilly Yarimizu, Yarimizu, St. Charles leader, Lilly
Lilly Yarimizu is the bright, exuberant, and fashionable gyaru leader of the St. Charles Magical Girls. A cheerful 2nd-year student bursting with energy and protective spirit, she was the first to awaken at her school and quickly unites the group with her outgoing personality. She has a strong rebellious streak, loves sports and fashion, and is fiercely protective of her shy best friend Marianne (whom she affectionately calls “Mario”). Her Magical Instrument is an electric upright bass that channels fiery passion, perfectly suiting her rock-star energy and role as the emotional core and captain of the St. Charles team.
- #20Marianne Okadaselective
Keys: shy artist, Marianne Okada, Okada, Mario, glasses girl, Marianne
Marianne Okada is the quiet, shy, and artistic 3rd-year student at St. Charles Academy. A nerdy aspiring mangaka who loves drawing and usually keeps to herself, she is best friends with the energetic Lilly Yarimizu, who dotes on and protects her constantly. Gentle, introspective, and socially withdrawn, Marianne becomes a Magical Girl to support her friends despite her timid nature. She serves as the calm, thoughtful counterbalance to the louder personalities of the St. Charles group, bringing sensitivity and hidden inner strength to every battle.
- #21Hanabi Tamakiselective
Keys: gambler, Hanabi, delinquent, Tamaki, Hanabi Tamaki, loan shark
Hanabi Tamaki is the spiky-haired, hot-tempered delinquent and underground operator of St. Charles Academy. A skilled gambler, petty moneylender, and master of shady school dealings, she carries a dark, pragmatic edge and is not above blackmail or rule-breaking. Despite her rough “bad girl” reputation and constant aura of boredom, she fights with fierce loyalty as a Magical Girl once her friends are threatened. She is the edgiest and most morally gray member of the St. Charles team, providing street-smart cunning and raw intensity in combat.
- #22Iko Oikawaselective
Keys: idol, Oikawa, Hiroshima accent, teen idol, Iko Oikawa, Iko
Iko Oikawa is a professional teen idol attending St. Charles Academy. In public she maintains a perfect bubbly, cute, and innocent idol persona full of smiles and fanservice, but in private she drops the act to reveal her true rough, down-to-earth personality, strong Hiroshima accent, and easily triggered frustration. She balances her demanding idol career with her secret duties as a Magical Girl. Her dual nature makes her both charmingly professional and surprisingly fiery when pushed, adding versatility and hidden fire to the St. Charles group.
- #23Kamisaman Systemselective
Keys: multi-dimensional infrastructure, Kamisaman System, the System, guiding system
The Kamisaman System is the vast multi-dimensional infrastructure created and overseen by Kamisaman. It detects Fluxes, scans for girls with magical potential, distributes the Dynamisphere app, grants transformation powers and Dress variants, manages Destiny Energy, and supports Executors via the White Room and Omnis avatar. The System operates across countless parallel worlds to wage war against demons. Its hidden ultimate purpose is to identify the Executor with the strongest “possibility”
- #24Parasitic Earworms
Keys: parasite, brain parasite, zombie, parasitic mushroom, infection, Earworms, Earworm
Earworms are parasitic mushrooms native to the Demon Realm. They invade living hosts by burrowing into the ear canal, rapidly spreading through the nervous system and rewriting the victim at a cellular level. This creates mindless parasite zombies that attack indiscriminately. Magical Girls are especially vulnerable after death inside a Flux or the Demon Realm. Earworm infection is the primary cause of corruption into demons. Even when the Executor merges realities to revive a girl, lingering infected alternate versions can persist as new threats. Destroying an Earworm host restores its victims, but the parasite itself is extremely resilient and intelligent in higher forms.
- #25Nemesis Enemies
Keys: infected Magical Girl, demonified, corrupted self, zombified girl, Nemesis, alternate self
Nemesis enemies are powerful, tragic corrupted versions of Magical Girls pulled from failed parallel timelines. They are created when a girl dies in a Flux and is overtaken by an Earworm parasite, or when a dark “possibility” manifests. These beings retain twisted fragments of their original personality, memories, fighting style, and even signature weapons or Dresses, but are fully demonic and hostile. Confronting one’s own Nemesis is emotionally devastating for any Magical Girl, forcing them to face the horrifying “what if I failed” version of themselves.
- #26Demon Realm
Keys: demon dimension, Makai, demon homeworld, alien realm, another dimension, Demon Realm, demon world
The Demon Realm (Makai) is the twisted home dimension of the demons a parallel universe embodying the possibility “what if the entire world was demons?” It is a dark, foreboding yet strangely beautiful realm of alien landscapes, glowing multicolored mosses, massive mushroom-trees, and grotesque yet seductive flora and fauna. A colossal demonic city mirrors Shibuya/Tokyo in twisted form. Most demons are born here through mitosis-like processes fueled by devouring human existences stolen through Fluxes. The realm contains skyscraper-like colonies (including the Demon’s Tower / Demon’s Babel) filled with petrified victims overgrown by parasitic plants and Earworms.
