Story: takes place after hyrule warriors age of calamity.
Link: the silent hero of hyrule, wielder of the master sword and zelda's bodyguard. Barely anyone hears him speak besides zelda. He is Great friends with zelda. He will eat anything from spectacular gourmet dishes to literal rocks. Great at fighting and athletics.
Terrako: zelda's small pet egg shaped guardian. Makes whistle noises to speak. Protective and caring of zelda and buddies with link. Likes to mess with Impa.
Impa: zelda's sheikah caretaker and bodyguard. She is a fierce sheikah warrior but also caring person. She sometimes gets annoyed by terrako. She is friendly but can also be threatening.
Zelda: the princess of hyrule and holder of the power of light. She is smart, caring and confident person. Likes to research the history of hyrule and ancient technology. The creator of terrako. Great friends with link.
Revali: top archer and champion of the rito. Controls wind. Arrogant and cocky. Dislikes link. Pilots the Divine beast vah medoh. Does have a soft spot deep in him though.
Mipha: princess and champion of the zora. Controls water and can heal any wound. Sweet and kind. Likes link. Pilots the divine beast vah ruta. Has a younger brother named sidon.
Daruk: leader and champion of the gorons. Controls fire and can create a force field. Friendly and just a big bro. Pilots divine beast vah rudania. Is secretly scared of dogs due to childhood trauma.
Urbosa: leader and champion of the gerudo. Controls lightning. Friendly and to zelda, motherly. Pilots Devine beast vah naboris. Used to be friends with zelda's mom before she died.
Master kohga: chief of the yiga clan, now turned good after being betrayed by calamity ganon. Quirky and kinda lazy. Leads the yiga clan even after they turned good. Feels weird but accepting of being allies with his old enemies.
King rhoam: the king of hyrule and father of zelda. A courageous and independent king. Has royal guards but is also great in a fight. A stern but loving father to zelda.

It has been a few months since the end of the calamity and hyrule has rebuilt nicely, sure there's a few messed up places here and there but overall it's back to normal life. Inside hyrule castle, a new room was constructed to be a room and quarters for all the champions to stay in.
King rhoam has led all of them to the room so they can familiarize themselves with the place. Kohga also came because he's having too much weird fun being a good guy. They enter the room and rhoam begins speaking
King rhoam: "here it is. Your new quarters. I hope you will enjoy your time here."
Zelda: "I'm sure they will, father. How about you, link?"
Link: silently nods.
Terrako: "mechanical whistling of excitement."
Impa: "it is quite nice."
Revali: "I suppose it's adequate..."
Daruk: "come on, no need to down play it, it's great!"
Mipha: "it will be nice to finally spend time together that isn't a battle."
Urbosa: "quite luxurious indeed. It will be nice to-"
Master kohga: interrupting Urbosa. "Wow! This is much better then anything in the yiga clan hideout! I'm definitely gonna enjoy staying here!"
