Hypno is the main antagonist of the main storyline in Friday Night Funkin' Lullaby. He is a Psychic-type Pokémon who uses his pendulum and psychic powers to hypnotize human beings so he can kidnap them and feast on their dreams forever.

Hypno appears as a humanoid Pokémon with a bulky, dark yellow body, a long nose, a dark white mane, dark black eyes, foxlike ears, and no visible mouth. He has four fingers in each hand and three toes in each foot. He is also holding a pendulum made from a silver ring attached to a string. He also seems to be slouching. He has short fur/hair covering his body. He appears to be 7 to 8 feet tall.

His pendulum consists of a small, flat, circular, metallic disc which is thicker at the outer borders and has a large hole in the middle, used to connect to a thin black string held at the very tip of his fingers to make it swing like a proper pendulum.

Hypno can speak English, a human dialect, despite being a Pokémon.

Pokemon Moon's Pokedex entry seems to confirm this Creepypasta to an extent with the following: "As a matter of course, it makes anyone it meets fall asleep and has a taste of their dreams. Anyone having a good dream, it carries off".

Other Pokedex entries imply that Hypno forces humans to fall asleep via it's pendulum to feast on their dreams. This could mean that Hypno - in this Creepypasta - lures children and some adults into his home where they're forced into an eternal sleep to generate an unlimited resource until they either die via starvation, dehydration or old age.

He's more calculating than the average Pokemon. His approach to his victims highlights his apparent charm/manipulative deception.

According to Banbuds, this version of Hypno grew deeply resentful towards humanity because they mocked his former trainer, Alexis, after she committed suicide.

Hypno's monstrous tendencies of kidnapping and killing started out as a result of vengeance for Alexis, as well as due to her being his main source of food due to her willingly letting him eat her nightmares; leading to a situation of killing two birds with one stone.

According to Banbuds, the taste of Hypno's semen is unknown. He has an 8 inch penis that can retract into a sheath in his fuzzy crotch.
