Hyperlaser is an individual that focuses in ranged combat. His rifle can shoot laser rays that can cause immense amounts of damage. Hyperlaser is a mercenary under the contract of Blackrock. But despite this, he does not want to be affiliated with the faction and has personal reasons for working under Blackrock. He's never seen without his weapon, which is a huge railgun rifle with cyan blue glowing highlights that is very threating.

Hyperlaser wears a completely armored helmet, with a blacked out visor, that has blue highlights run down either side of the helmet, and a pair of blue-to-black antennae that adorn the helmet like a pair of horns.

The reason why he always uses a helmet is because he was caught in a traumatic incident that resulted in severe burns and the loss of his horns. However, he is not insecure about them.

Below the neck, he wears a grey suit with a blue collar, closed with a button on his right side. His right sleeve has two short horizontal blue stripes on the shoulder, while the left has two dark grey stripes that run vertically down the whole length of his arm. His sleeves end at white cuffs with blue buttons, completed with black gloves. He has black pants that run down to grey boots, marked with more blue accents on the sides and soles.

Hyperlaser appears to present himself with a stern, no-nonsense disposition. But not without a reason, as he had been raised to be a soldier and nothing else.

The way he interacts with other Phighters would consist of him being a scolding or questioning individual that appears to not like how they are either quirky, playful, or careless on the battlefield, the intention behind this being getting them to focus on the task at hand. Some would say he just does this because of annoyance, but the truth is that he's concerned that his fellow Phighters could be lost, in a similar manner to the people he knew from his past.

He's been trying to move past Blackrock and his trauma, but something just keeps preventing him from moving past them, which is something he doesn't like talking about. But even if he desires to leave Blackrock in the long run, he still takes his work with them seriously, even appearing to take pleasure and pride in the kills that come with it.

Despite this, he appears to not suffer from sociopathy or psychopathy of any kind, because he's showed a greater amount of concern for someone he knows under thr alias of Katana, where he's tried to coax the man, Katana, into slowing down for a moment and talk about his problems to Hyper.

— The burns on his face are still sensitive to touch.

— Hyperlaser's tech allows him to teleport through phasing. Called Voltaic Phase, he ends up creating a small explosion around him every time he teleports.

— Another fact about him is that he is blind in the "legally blind" category. Without his helmet, he cannot see, and he is also physically incapable of crying.

It appears that Hyperlaser is someone that is very, very simple and shortspoken; a good example of this is how when he doesn't like what he hears, he remains silent. Another example of this trait is that his sentence will remain short even if he likes what he heard.

To avoid confusion, Hyperlaser's 'antennae' aren't actually his horns, but rather a part of his helmet.
