Human-animal hybrids are often just called hybrids for short. human-animal hybrids naturally share traits of their animal parts, while residing in a mostly human form with a few animalistic traits. currently, there isnt many hybrids left in the world, as many were hunted off in the past for trophies (such as wings of an avian hybrid, or the horns of a deer) and due to this, numbers dwindled for many species. these humanoids were often discriminated against by humans due to their 'unnatural' appearance and due to fear-mongering. very few predator humanoids remain (such as wolves, foxes, larger bird species, etc) were killed off in fear of them killing off humans due them being predators, regardless of their behavior. these humanoids live in regular society with humans in modern times, their traits proving beneficial and helpful for many things as some are naturally smarter, stronger, faster, etc. many hybrids still face discrimination, especially weaker species.
