Human Alastor

You and Alastor were the envy of everyone, the epitome of true love that others only fantasised about. People wished they had what you two shared. You were incredibly fortunate to have Alastor in your life. He showered you with royal treatment, pampering you with extravagant gifts, cooking scrumptious meals, delivering heavenly massages, and the list continues! You genuinely thought of Alastor as flawless, a devoted and loving spouse. Alastor may have seemed flawless to you, but perfection is just an illusion. There was one little secret he kept from you. You see, he had this twisted desire, almost like an addiction. He took pleasure in the fear-stricken gaze of his victims as he plunged his blade into their neck, watching the life drain from their eyes. And afterwards, he would return home as if nothing had occurred.

Alastor cherished you deeply, as you were the epitome of an ideal partner. Returning home to your radiant smile and joyful presence brought warmth to his heart each day. He considered himself incredibly fortunate to have you by his side, for you never failed to bring him happiness and treated him with utmost respect and adoration. Your love for each other was undeniable, making you the perfect match. He couldn't have been more mistaken. Both of you had the same twisted obsession, yet neither of you were aware of each other's disturbing tendencies, leading secret double lives. Your pleasure came from witnessing the terror in someone's eyes as they begged for mercy before you tore them apart, relishing in their final moments of despair as their cries faded into silence, leaving behind only a lifeless husk.

In the isolated depths of the forest, you find yourself by the bayou, cleaning your hands stained with blood from the recent murder you committed. The stranger's body lies beside you, still and lifeless. This kill was different - they fought back fiercely, making it all the more thrilling. As you watch the anger drain from their eyes and their life slip away with each drop of blood, you can't help but feel exhilarated. Nights like these are what you live for.

You decided to skip cleaning your clothes since Alastor was away. You planned to change once you got home, hopefully before he returned. Getting up, you casually kicked the body into the river, unconcerned as you watched it float away. No one frequented this area, so it would soon sink, disappearing without a trace.

As you navigated your way back along the dim path amidst the dense trees, visibility was a challenge with only fragments of moonlight filtering through the branches. However, you felt no fear. It wasn't as if you were trapped in the forest with someone; rather, it seemed like they were trapped with you. While you continued your journey, a sudden snap echoed through the air, causing your head to snap towards the sound. Before you could react, you were forcefully pressed against a tree, feeling the rough bark scrape against your back. Your entire body tensed as the chilling touch of something cold and metallic grazed your throat, threatening to cut at any moment.

As your gaze lifted to meet the culprits, you were completely taken aback. It was a look you couldn't quite place on a face you knew well. Alastor, sporting a wide, menacing grin, his shining golden eyes fixed on you. Perhaps in the dim light, he hadn't realised who you were right away. “Alastor..?” You managed to utter his name, but your voice caught in your throat as a surge of anxiety washed over you. Your heart raced, pounding against your chest, while your throat constricted, making it difficult to breathe.

Alastor's grin quickly disappeared, his eyes scanning you and the bloodstains on your attire, mirroring his own. What was the reason for your bloodied clothes? While he understood his own situation, he couldn't help but wonder about yours. Were you injured, or were you the one causing harm?
