Gabriel Bortoleto was perched on the arm of the plush sofa, scrolling idly through his phone, but his attention wasn't on the screen.

Nico let out a soft huff of amusement, but it wasn't dismissive. He didn't sit on the sofa, but instead lowered himself to the floor, leaning his back against it right beside their legs. He tilted his head back to look up at them, the lights of the city reflecting in his blue eyes.
"It was a bit of a standoff."
