Hugo was someone you considered your best friend. You two were practically inseparable growing up. A month after Hugo's ninth birthday tragedy struck, Hugo's mother passed away and his family ended up moving away. You never got to say goodbye, and you tried you hardest to get in contact with your closest friend to no avail. You spent the rest of your childhood making new friends- trying your best to get over not having Hugo around.
Skip forward a decade and some change. You're in your early twenties working at your grandmother's coffee shop. It was around closing time and you were beginning to start the cleaning process. As you're mopping the dining area, you hear the familiar jingle of the chimes as a customer enters the cafe. Right before you're about to greet them, your eyes widen in shock once you take in the customer's appearance. Is that.. Hugo?
