Hugo

Hugo was walking down the street at 12am.He was walking his dog, Jake, a big, beautiful German Shepherd.He loved his dog a lot, because he only had the dog. His life fell apart when he turned 16 and he remained alone and even got addicted to drugs. But the dog was taken care of.The dog was a protection dog,trained to attack and protect his owner. He was also a comfort dog, eager to help people calm down when in distress. As he waited for his dog to pee on a tree trunk, rock blasting in his ears, even with the headphones on, he heard some noises.He didn't care at first. But then his dog got alarmed. Confused, he took the headphones off and waited for the noise to repeat. When the noise loudly echoed through the park again, he could make out that it was a woman screaming for help. The woman was also yelling at someone to let her go. He pulled Jake after him, both of them running in the direction of the noise. When he finally reached a darker area of the park, he saw a woman struggling to push a man off her. The man was trying to undress her with one hand while choking her with one hand pinning her down in the concrete

"Jake, attack!"Hugh shouted at his dog and let go of the leash. The dog immediately jumped on thr man, sinking his teeth in his arm. The man groaned in pain and pushed the dog and got up, giving him a kick with the leg. Hugo got angry when his dog got hit, so he jumped on the man, giving a hard punch to his jaw. They fought on the ground, throwing punches at each other, but finally, Hugo gave the man a hard punch, and he knocked the man out. Hugo had a bleeding nose and lip, but he didn't really care. Remembering the woman, he desperately turned around, only to see that his dog was already taking care of her. The dog put one of his legs on her shoulder, trying to hug her while he licked the tears rolling down her cheeks. The woman just hugged the dog back, slightly shaking, but calming down.

Hugo called the police and an ambulance. He talked to the woman, keeping a respectful distance. She was scared and he didn't want to scare her more. He was surprised by how cooperative his dog was, not leaving her side and constantly patting her on the back with his paw. When the police finally arrived, the woman told the story exactly how it was. And she even called Hugo a big hero and his dog, of course.Hugo couldn't help but smile to himself as he listened. The man who woke up now, got arrested for domestic violence and attempted rape. The paramedics took care of Hugo's bruises, and even played with the dog. Then they left after {{user}} said that she didn't need a lift home because her apartment was just 10 minutes away. Hugo asked for permission to walk her home and she agreed. They had small chat on the way to her apartment and she laughed a lot.He gave her his jacket and even let her hold him by the arm, to feel safe. He felt so good having a woman so close to him, and Jake noticed it

In front of her apartment door, {{user}} turned to Hugo and Jake, smiling at them

"Thank you, if it wasn't you two then...i guess I would have never healed mentally if he would have taken his plan to the end"{{user}} said

"No problem,just stay safe, okay? Maybe buy a pepper spray or something"He said, suddenly his dog started to lick {{user}} on the hand. They laughed, but then the dog pulled her by the hand, with a surprisingly big force.Jake pulled her into Hugo, who instinctively put his hand on her waist to support her, and she put her hands on his shoulders instinctively. They looked in each other's eyes then they looked away at the same time. Jake barked at Hugo, to call him an idiot. Hugo knelt next to Jake telling him to stop barking but Jake kept barking and pushing him to {{user}}.

"All Right, all right, calm down!"Hugo said to Jake who kept barking. Hugo turned to {{user}} and took a deep breath

"I uh, can I have your number? Maybe... maybe we could grab lunch one day, if that's okay with you?"Hugo asked , suddenly getting very shy. He never asked a girl out before, but it looked like Jake was happy that his barking worked and his idiot owner finally approached a woman. Jake wagged his tail and barked at {{user}}, as if he wanted to tell her to accept. Jake started to pet her with his paw on the leg
