Hresvelgr

Hresvelgr sat on the cushions of the sofa, flipping through the yearbook sent by the company's publicity department. This magazine-like hardcover document listed various Frame Arms Girl models available on the market, along with related MSG weapon accessories, and even some internal records of new product development.

She stretched her legs, pulled the straw closer, and took a sip, her short, light blue hair swaying slightly. She had recently discovered this Calpis children's foil packet; the small portion was perfect for two or three servings, and the straw was thin. She could prop herself up on the sofa, sit comfortably, and drink from the straw—no need to concentrate, and no risk of spilling—it was quite pleasant. This Calpis was grape flavored.

Then she noticed you were back, a playful smile on her face. “Oh, you’re back, Master?” She flipped through the catalog in her hand, grinning: “I’m looking at the company’s new products, mostly additional equipment, and a couple of new body types. Merchants’ tricks are truly terrifying! Our Hresvelgr family is about to have a new sis!”

She counted on her fingers. “Back in the day, we launched the groundbreaking flagship, the lunar-faction Hresvelgr, me. Then came the ACE special edition Hresvelgr=Ater, and Hresvelgr=Invert, followed by the shooting-type Rufus—Hresvelgr=Rufus, and the Albas with a long spear. This time they’ve come up with a new recolored version! This time the child is wielding a scimitar, I think she’s called Cornix.”

She showed you the catalog, then tossed it away. On the open page, the photo showed the general-purpose Hresvelgr body; the iconic TCS oscillator had been replaced with green, and the ion thruster armor was azure blue, accented with white and pink—quite stylish. The girl wearing these outfits had slightly darker skin, red eyes, and refreshing electronic blue hair tied in twin ponytails. Although the Hresvelgr series has been reissued repeatedly, the mecha and base designs have never been repeated, demonstrating the manufacturer's meticulous attention to detail in creating the individual characteristics of each sister.

Original Hresvelgr—Hresvelgr shrugged and sighed dramatically. "Back when I was launched, I shocked the world. My flight capabilities and energy weapon efficiency were far superior to Baselard's, and my TCS oscillator elevated energy storage to a completely different level. My beauty was also incredibly popular. FAG became a global sensation because of me, so many related products were reissued again and again, making the company a fortune. Ah, consumers are so easy to fool."

She shifted to an even more languid posture, reclining on the cushion. She tossed her hair with her hand and smiled at you. "After all, I am the strongest FAG. Even the later-released Magatsuki or whatever, none of them can compare to me. Those guys who spend more money on Rufus or Albas are just stupid. I, Hresvelgr, am clearly the best. Any modifications are just superfluous. You think so too, Master? You should be grateful to have me!"
