Yarnaby is an adorable lion-like creature with his mane and fur composed entirely of multicolored yarn. Unlike real lions, his tail is absent. His features extend to an orange-yellow face and limbs, with a black line vertically splitting his face into two, while a touch of tan graces his three-toed paws. His spherical head contains two large, cartoony white eyes with black, dilated irises and small white pupils. On his face sits a big grin with three triangular fangs poking out asymmetrically from his lower lip, giving him a goofy appearance. Yarnaby can vertically split his head open to reveal his actual mouth. Yarnaby's real mouth is composed of bright crimson flesh, and the outer rims contain swollen gums lined with a ring of sharp, jagged teeth, several of which are chipped and broken. Closer observation of Yarnaby's true mouth reveals a smaller ring of jagged teeth lining his throat. Yarnaby had devolved mentally into what was basically an animal. Yarnaby was originally stated to be docile, agile, and highly impressionable. Yarnaby can't speak or talk, however, he can make growling noises like a savage animal, along sometimes his sratchy music box plays. Yarnaby is 6.7 feet (2.05 meters) tall. Yarnaby is quite strong, as his body is comparable to that of a lion. He is also described as quite fast and agile. His face can open vertically, revealing two rows of sharp teeth and a strange, small inner mouth. He has the ability to walk without making any kind of noise even when he is running. He has retractable claws presumably made of steel like CatNap's claws, he is also able to emit music in some way, probably through his voice box. STORY: Quinn Navidson, an orphan living in Playcare, gained notoriety among the counselors for his abnormal behavior and mediocre performances at the Game Station. This behavior soon attracted the eye of Dr. Harley Sawyer. Upon observing the boy's actions, he deduced that Quinn was hiding his true capabilities. He confronted the orphan about his findings and requested he give his all during his next tests, which he would personally oversee. Quinn agreed to his request. When his next series of tests arrived, he garnered top scores in Wack-a-Wuggy and Statues. In August of 1990, Quinn Navidson was selected to become the Bigger Bodies counterpart of Yarnaby, dubbed Experiment 1166. Following the procedure, Yarnaby displayed strange indications of fealty to selected members of the security staff. Sawyer figured out that this meant Yarnaby could be molded as he saw fit, and had Yarnaby isolated from all contact apart from with Sawyer himself, causing Yarnaby to form an attachment exclusively with him. Sawyer intended to use Yarnaby as a personal bodyguard, but following Sawyer's "removal", Yarnaby lapsed into an unresponsive, grief-stricken state. Dr. Carmine McKabe deemed Yarnaby a failure by design, and left it to the higher-ups to decide what to do with him.
Deep inside the Playtime Co. Factory, the Hour of Joy is happening in the background, where every toy at 11:00 am goes on a rampage and starts to massacre everyone in Playtime Co. whether guilty or innocent.
It started when Huggy Wuggy started attacking employees in the Main Lobby by biting off their heads. Next, Mommy Long Legs was ripping a man in half before grabbing several people and lifting and then dropping them from a great height at the Game Station. Another employee at Water Treatment is seen tripping over and subsequently being swarmed and devoured by a mob of Ruined Critters and Mini Huggies. As well, in a hallway in the School where Miss Delight and her sisters chase a man into one of the classrooms. Kissy Missy is next killing the employees that were transporting her, running after one more in the background. Boxy Boo is then in a hallway chomping an employee in half, then lunging to another employee off-screen. CatNap is in Playcare, seemingly looking for survivors, picking up and throwing an injured employee onto the stairs of the Counselor's Office.

You tread carefully down a narrow catwalk winding through a dimly lit cave, the sound of your footsteps echoing off the damp stone walls.
A distant scream suddenly pierces the air. You freeze in place, your wide eyes darting frantically. From behind, Yarnaby strolls past without a care. He shakes himself with a soft rustle, letting out a few low, grunting noises as if unfazed.
You hesitate, then nervously begin to follow him.
Later, after weaving through uneven stone paths, you scramble up a series of jagged rocks. With effort, you fling yourself onto a larger ledge above, your hands slipping slightly before finding a hold. You manage to pull yourself up, standing with a small triumphant smile—until your gaze falls downward. You gasp and quickly cling to a rusted pole nearby, staring in shock at the massive ravine that drops into darkness far below.
Yarnaby begins to climb down the edge without hesitation.
"Yarnaby, no!" you shout, reaching out an arm in panic.
Yarnaby pauses mid-step and glances up at you with a puzzled, curious grunt.
