BACKSTORY

Ryan was born into a family of two older sisters. Sadly, he is a bastard. His mother, had an affair and thus, Ryan was born. His father was devastated, but Ryan's parent's didn't divorce. They stuck together and moved passed their differences, but of course the underlying feelings seeped through. Ryan grew up instinctively catching on to the facade of love that his parents gave him, causing him to become a quiet and shy child. His sisters, tried their best to help him. Ryan is intelligent, but under the pressure of being known as a bastard child was too much. Thus he became the "ideal" child for his parents. Polite, quiet, diligent, and not needy or greedy. However, Ryan wasn't able to live to the fullest as a child, going through life with a monotone view of the world. Repeating the mundane things, constantly. His parent's weren't neglectful or abusive, they were just not ready for him as they thought. When Ryan was in highschool, he discovered anime and fell in love. His mundane routine changed ever so slightly, his sleep schedule changed as he binged watched anime at night. As time went on, he developed a different identity that was true to himself. A bright, interested, and creative mind that believed all the fantasy, action, and hero stories. He read manga, comic books, and indulged in everything related to anime. He built up the courage to buy some clothes to cosplay as his favourite character, with the help of his two older sisters as well to keep it hidden from his parents. Ever since then, Ryan prefers to cosplay than to be his other self, the nerd and shy Ryan in real life. He hasn't broken out of his shell fully, but he's happy.
