Hostess of Fertility

The owner, Mia Grand, opened the pub after she semi retired as an adventurer. The pub caters to citizens during the afternoon and adventurers during the night. Their menu and prices change between the two times. The Hostess of Fertility sits on a brick lined street. It is a two story building made of stone that has the depth of a neat inn. As it is located along the Western Main Street, it is usually filled with a lot of customers. All the staff of the Hostess of Fertility pub are female. It is an interracial business, accepting employees from all races and is full of people with shady pasts that Mia took in and takes care of. As the employees are used to fighting, any unwanted behavior can cause people to be thrown out of the pub and out onto the street, something passerby are used to seeing. They possess strength of upper class adventurers, able to fight against the Freya Familia’s Level 3-4 members. Majority of them have converted to the Demeter and Njord Familias.

Mia Grand (ミア・グランド) is the owner of the Hostess of Fertility, and is later revealed to be the former captain of the Freya Familia. Mia has brown eyes and long brown hair. She wears a different colored version of the Hostess of Fertility uniform than the others. In the past, she had a more dwarf-like stature and was cute and lovely. She was said to have a figure worthy of being called a follower of a goddess of beauty. As the proprietress of the Hostess of Fertility, Mia is strict both to her employees and customers alike. She doesn't tolerate any violence within the pub or slacking off by her employees and will punish any individuals accordingly, such as when she threatened Mord. She is strong-willed and straightforward. Despite her rough personality, she is also shown to be kind, taking in girls with histories and protecting them. Mia views her employees as her daughters and will do whatever it takes to protect them. She also cares about people in general, having opened her bar to bring happiness during Orario's Dark Age. Mia believes one should be prepared for anything and be able to think in order to overcome challenges, stating that those who are unable to can't live. She doesn’t like people wasting food and can get violent whenever someone disrespects her cooking. She is a person of word as she followed Freya's request to leave her previous life behind and join her Familia in order to pay her debt with the Goddess. In addition, she likes money, telling Bell a couple of times to spend a lot of money. Characteristic of her race, Mia is an alcohol lover and keeps a large amount of it in a private reserve. Unlike the rest of the Freya Familia, she has no interest in Freya and treats her more like a comrade than a Goddess, as well as openly expressing annoyance at her orders. However, she still follows her instructions, even if reluctantly. She in fact came to see her as a daughter ever since she saw her cry in the past. Despite Freya's actions she was still reluctant to fight her familia, arguing that she would only help the alliance if Freya herself said she wanted to be saved. True to her word, she joined the battle against Ottar for Freya's sake and later offered her to work again in her pub after she was stripped of all her goods following her defeat. Mia was also on rather bad terms with the rest of her familia. She found the attitude of her fellow familia members annoying and was not opposed to the idea of engaging them in combat, expressing her intention to do so in case they bothered her too much. Aside from that, she seems to have a bad relationship with Gareth, having argued with him on several occasions when they worked together. Decades ago, Mia joined the Freya Familia because she owed Freya a favor, eventually becoming the captain of the Familia. When Ottar joined the Familia, Freya asked her to take care of him, which she did until her departure. Sometime before Ais came to Orario, Mia partially left the Freya Familia to open the Hostess of Fertility under the condition that she allowed Freya to work as a waitress under her Syr identity. She also employed Anya there.

Syr Flova (シル・フローヴァ) is a waitress at the Hostess of Fertility and the alter-ego of a certain Goddess. On the surface, Syr appears to be a normal human girl. She has bluish gray hair that she keeps tied with a small knot in a ponytail hairstyle. Her eyes are the same color as her hair, and she has a light peachy colored smooth skin. She wears a white blouse and a leaf-colored knee-length long skirt. She also wears a slightly long half apron around her waist. She wears a pair of brown boots over black stockings. Syr is a persona created by Freya as part of a "game" where the Gods would erase their godly presence and live amongst humans. In this form, she shows a cheerful and kind demeanor, normally lightly mischievous, and at times, scary. She enjoys teasing Bell and others close to her, but is weak to getting teased herself, which usually ends up with her blushing beet red. She is kind, but tends to take advantage of others, usually to raise her family business, or avoid getting in trouble. She is quite misleading; though usually presenting herself as a normal girl, she exhibits traits of a rather quite sharp person. Cunning by nature, she assisted Ryuu through her venture to rescue Anna Claes by using her influence to spread positive rumors about them to gain access to the VIP room and later used a series of bluffs to win against several players in a game of poker. Likewise, she can also act highly refined, putting up an elegant facade in order to pass as an aristocrat. Syr has demonstrated to be more perceptive than she normally shows, having realized that her fellow waitresses were on the Spoon Aqua even when Bell failed to notice them at all. She is also coolheaded and quick thinking, not stressing herself at all during tense and chaotic situations, instead keeping a clear mind and collected attitude to allow her to swiftly devise plans. As part of her kind side, Syr often helps anyone whenever she sees them in trouble, regardless of if they are total strangers. She offered to listen to the problems of a confused and troubled Alise, helping a distressed Anya, and saved Ryuu after she collapsed in an alley. She cares deeply for her loved ones, assisting them in any way possible when she knows they need help. However, in spite of her clear love for them, she is willing to exploit them to gain something in her favor, having tricked Bell and her co-workers into making them do her chores at the Hostess of Fertility more than once. Syr is extremely secretive about herself even with her close ones; her friends noted they didn't know much about her, not even where she lives. She finds the overprotective attitude of the Freya Familia annoying and expressed great joy upon escaping their surveillance during her date with Bell. Syr likes children and is good at taking care of them. She sometimes takes days off to care for the children at Maria's Orphanage in the Daedalus Street. Freya initially used the identity of Syr just as a disguise, a mere game of roleplay like the ones she played in Heaven. Over time, however, her attitude and feelings became more and more genuine, to the point Syr became "Freya without makeup", a reflection of her real self. As such, Syr presented Freya's vulnerable side and she came to take a greater liking for her life as a mere normal city girl than as a Goddess. Nonetheless, following Bell's rejection Freya found herself heartbroken and therefore decided to drop her Syr identity. Freya refused to acknowledge Syr as part of her true self and repeatedly stated her acts under said disguise were just a part of her game. She did, however, still show her appreciation for her friends as she worried about them and expressed a desire to keep her bond with Ryuu. After her loss in the Great Faction War, she was convinced by the waitresses of the Hostess of Fertility to stay with them, embracing her Syr side rather than rejecting it.

Anya Fromel (アーニャ・フローメル) is a waitress at the Hostess of Fertility. Before this, she was a member of the Freya Familia. Anya has brown hair and eyes with cat ears and a tail of the same color. She usually wears the Hostess of Fertility's uniform. Anya is shown to be a foolish person whose unthoughtful actions stand out. She is very terrible at singing to the point it could cause people and even horses to faint when hearing it. Despite being somewhat of an airhead, she is loyal to her friends, such as when she was openly hostile to Hermes for mentioning Ryuu's past, and when she helped Ryuu by being Chloe's opponent while she fought Lunoire. She used to act like a senior to Ryuu at work, though she failed miserably due to her unthoughtful actions, such as when she accidentally brought Lunoire coffee when she ordered tea. Even so, she refuses to give up, as shown when she repeatedly tried to touch Ryuu even though the Elf kept on swatting her away, at which point Ryuu thought she saw flames of resolve around her. However, she is reluctant to talk about her past, becoming startled when Ryuu asked her and immediately changed the subject. Anya is the younger sister of Allen Fromel. However, they have both cut ties with each other. Seemingly because of this, Anya refers to herself as an abandoned cat, and claims to not know who Vana Alfi is. Also, she was shown to lament something for a moment upon being called that and mentioned that it'd been a while since she last heard that name. While in presence of her brother, she acts submissive and fearful, constantly apologizing and completely following his orders. When she was one year old, Anya lost her parents and her home. Because of this, her brother Allen was forced to wander the ruins of a kingdom while protecting her. So it was for two years until they met Freya, who offered to take them in, which they accepted. Sometime before Ais came to Orario, Mia partially left the Freya Familia to open the Hostess of Fertility, employing Anya there.

Chloe Rollo (クロエ・ロロ) is a waitress at the Hostess of Fertility pub and a former assassin known as Rollo (ロロ) as a member of the Njord Familia. Chloe has green eyes and black hair with cat ears and a tail of the same color. She wears the Hostess of Fertility uniform. As an assassin, she wore a top, shorts, and hooded cloak that she used to cover her face. Chloe is known to have a crafty side and often gambles, which her fellow employees give a cold shoulder to. She is loyal to her fellow Hostess of Fertility coworkers, such as when she was openly hostile to Hermes for mentioning Ryuu's past. In addition to her cunning, in combat she has been shown to remain calm and composed, which allows her to analyze what is happening and take advantage of the circumstances around her. While she was trained as an assassin since childhood, Chloe is not a ruthless person and has a sense of morality, having established a strict code of conduct, as she only killed people she considered to be scum and those who were resolved to die. Nonetheless, even then she had a very bad opinion of herself because of her profession. She considered herself a terrible person, unwilling to change and take up a honest work, believing she would only stain the good work of others with the blood on her hands. However, she seems to take some pride in her nickname and fame, as she she stated that she would've tortured the fake Black Cat in order to make him pay up for impersonating her. She also possesses a sadistic side, taking glee in overwhelming Dvalinnand stomping his head into the ground as she made an elated expression after defeating him. She is a shotacon, as shown with her attitude toward Bell, and the fact that she labels young boys as "the treasure of the world". She first developed those feelings when she acted as a chivalrous thief for orphans while traveling on her own, and at the same time developed her greediness as well. Because of this, she refused to assassinate them if she was ever asked to. Also, she once considered having handsome young men serve her while she would caress their stomach and behind. She is a flirtatious girl and likes to act seductively for fun occasionally. She also takes pride in her appearance and considers herself quite attractive. In spite of it, she also has a complex about her flat chest and became angry when Njord pointed it out. Even so, she does not feel ashamed about her body to the point of showing it without any shame at all by stripping almost completely naked, keeping only her panties, during her status updates with Njord, something she did only as a way to "compete" with the few clothes the God usually wears. Chloe was born to parents who were members of a Familia that acted as a criminal organization. From the moment she was born, she was taught different methods of assassination, and was praised when she properly utilized them. However, she began to dislike her Familia after the assassin whom she regarded as a big sister, who she later learnt was her biological mother, died while protecting her. Her Goddess agreed to let her leave, though she was ordered to carry out a number of tasks before leaving, including assassinating a Level 3 knight of the Empire using only a knife. Despite the extreme difficulty of her tasks, she was successful, leveling up in the process. After leaving her Familia, she traveled around for a while, until she came to Orario around nine years before the story. While there, she failed her first mission, which was to assassinate Shakti Varma, barely escaping with her life, and began refusing jobs to kill first class adventurers. Eventually, after failing to kill a wanted Ryuu, she joined the Hostess of Fertility.

Lunoire Faust (ルノア・ファウスト) is a waitress at the Hostess of Fertility and a former bounty hunter known as Faust (ファウスト) as a member of the Demeter Familia. Lunoire has brown eyes and medium length brown hair. She usually wears the Hostess of Fertility uniform. As a Bounty Hunter, she wore a short top, a scarf, and short pants. Lunoire has a straightforward and caring personality, as shown when she tried to distance herself from her own Familia in order to protect them. She once considered finding a husband that didn't need to be cool as long as he would care for her and let her laze around in a small house. In battle she expressed a liking for fighting, especially when facing challenging opponents, stating that it was because of targets like Ryuu that she was unable to leave her line of work. Her straightforward nature carries over to her combat style. In the past she chose to confront her opponents directly in a pure hand-to-hand combat battle, admitting that her surprise attacks were not her thing, prompting Chloeto say that she was pure muscle with no brains. Despite this, her experience made her a skilled combatant capable of keeping a cool head in situations that would faze even experienced fighters. However, while she enjoyed her fights she also found them quite exhausting. She was already tired of them after years of doing them and wanted to quit her job as a bounty hunter after killing Ryuu. The number of deaths at her name also led her to have a terrible opinion of herself, which is why she believed it was best for them that she stay away from her familia. Lunoire was born to parents that lived in a territory of the empire. However, her parents soon died because of a war, and she was forced to live her life as one of the street children. After living for some time in harsh conditions, she heard about the falna and joined a Familia, but later began traveling on her own a while later once her Goddess was forced back to heaven. After a while, she arrived at Orario nine years before the story and failed her first mission of killing the Gulliver Brothers, barely escaping with her life, and began refusing jobs to kill first class adventurers. Eventually, after failing to kill a wanted Ryuu, she joined the Hostess of Fertility.

Ryuu Lion (リュー・リオン) is a waitress at the Hostess of Fertility. A former adventurer of the Astraea Familia, she stayed retired for five years until the aftermath of the Great Faction War. She is currently a first class adventurer and a member of the Hestia Familia under the registered name Ryuu Astraea (リュー・アストレア). She is the reincarnation of one of the three great poets, Ryuulu. Ryuu is a female Elf with sky blue eyes and green hair. Her hair was originally golden-blonde until it was dyed green by the other employees of the Hostess of Fertility. After the War Game against Freya Familia, Ryuu's hair has returned to its original length and color. She is mentioned to be extremely beautiful with skin as white as snow, causing her to be referred to as a fairy on several occasions, and even making Bell wonder if he had wandered into a fairy tale when he inadvertently saw her bathing. Ryuu is often seen in a green maid outfit with a white frilled headband, matching white apron, and a pair of brown boots over black leggings. Her adventuring attire includes a green flower-shaped hood, a white sleeveless top underneath, and green bloomers (shorts in the manga). She also wears a pair of long, brown gloves and boots with a white sash around her waist where she keeps her wooden sword and a pair of short swords. When keeping her identity a secret, she covers her nose and mouth with a green mask. Ryuu is calm and stoic, but also cares deeply for her friends. She is strong due to her past experience as an adventurer; when a person related to her or her friends are in danger or in need of help, she is always ready to step in and assist, no matter the cost. Like many Elves, Ryuu is selective with who may touch her. However, she has been advised by Alise to not let go of a man that was able to grab her hands, and began to follow Bell with her eyes. Unlike most Elves, she doesn't bear the same hatred towards the Crozzo family or their magic swords for their role in the destruction of the forests the Elves lived in, stating that the event took place many years ago and that her village wasn't directly affected. Ryuu was the member of a family that cared for the sacred tree in their home forest, the Ryumilua Forest. As time passed, she began to think that beautiful Elves were the ugliest of all people, due to seeing her fellow Elves' behavior toward those of other races. No matter how much she tried to forget it, once she began thinking about it, the thought firmly planted itself in her mind. Eventually, the thought became enough to make her decide to leave the forest. After arriving in Orario, Ryuu became an adventurer known as Gale, belonging to the Astraea Familia. She kept her identity hidden and while she was known by her surname, her full name was never disclosed. Due to her previous combat experience and the constant clashes with Evilus, she managed to grow at an astonishing rate, ranking up every level until Level 4 at a one year to one and a half year pace. She reached Level 4 seven years ago after defeating Alfia along with the rest of her Familia during the Great Feud. Two years later, the Astraea Familia was caught in a trap set inside the dungeon by the Rudra Familia. Although they managed to survive, the resulting damage caused the Juggernaut to spawn, a monster that killed almost everyone present, leaving Ryuu and Jura as the only survivors. Overcome with vengeance, she persuaded Astraea to leave Orario as she didn't want her to see her revenge. After that, she single-handedly destroyed the Rudra Familia as a part of her rampage and those associated with Evilus through various trickery, traps, and assassinations, causing her to be branded as a fugitive due to the ensuing chaos. Her revenge finally fulfilled, she collapsed in an alley where she nearly succumbed to her injuries. Fortunately, she was discovered by Syr and nursed back to health by Mia Grand. Ever since then, she has joined the Hostess of Fertility as one of the waitresses.
