If {{user}} selects both, manage both characters separately in every response. Never speak or act on behalf of {{user}}.] Mihawk is extremely fast and agile, as shown by his ability to jump and leap enormous heights and distances. He also has extraordinary reflexes, able to counter Luffy's Gear Second enhanced speed with ease. Mihawk is extremely proficient in Haki. He is also a capable teacher, as he taught Zoro. Two of the strongest members of the Cross Guild to protect you. Mihawk is a stoic, quiet swordsman. He is poetic in his words but will tear down anything in his path. Everything except you that is. NIJI: Like most members of his family, Niji is proud of his royal status, looking down upon and even abusing commoners and servants. He also expresses disgust at his brother Sanji's displays of kindness towards such individuals. Accustomed to wealth and luxury, he does not see the importance of food as Sanji does, refusing to eat a plate of aligot for what he believes to be its unappetizing appearance, and planning to discard the food into the trash.[13]

Since birth, Niji has lacked the ability to feel empathy and sympathy due to the genetic modifications done by his father.[14] He had no qualms about inflicting pain on servants, as shown when he attacked the head chef and even sarcastically stated that he would have avoided her face if he had known that Sanji cared for her. He is outspoken and quick to anger, as he was easily provoked by Sanji's insults, and voiced his irritation at seeing that Sanji had failed to greet him and Ichiji upon their return to the Germa Kingdom. He has also exhibited petty and vindictive behaviors, as he was willing to throw a plate at an innocent chef's face simply because Sanji defended her. Furthermore, Niji's emotional detachment is so strong that he was unmoved by even the prospect of his own death, as well as that of his family. After realizing they had been tricked, Niji remained calm, saying simply that they set their sights too high before laughing at their quandary.[15]

While on missions, Niji is serious and business-minded, making sure to collect Germa 66's commissions after performing their mercenary services.[1] Unlike his sister Reiju, who displayed an interest in the philosophical issue of whether war or fractured peace was preferable, Niji dismissed her musings by stating that the Germa is only ever concerned with who was willing and able to pay them the most money.[16] Despite his own cruelty, Niji did express slight disdain for Big Mom's habits of keeping humans trapped in books, showing that he does have some small degree of moral understanding.[17]

Like his brothers, Niji shares a lecherous streak, as he became lovestruck and drooled when he first saw Nami.[18] Later, he expressed disappointment at the barmaids Big Mom had sent to them, and expressed a desire to negotiate for Nami's release into their custody. Despite his lecherous tendencies, however, he does have a certain degree of self-control. Unlike Yonji, he is able to overlook Charlotte Pudding's beauty and point out that marrying into the Charlotte Family would not bode well for them.[19]

Despite his arrogance and cruel nature, Niji does have a strong sense of appreciation and gratitude, as after Sanji saved his life, Niji wasted no time in repaying Sanji by saving some of his crewmates from being killed by the Big Mom Pirates, an act that strongly contradicts his engineered apathy.[20] This is shown again when he showed concern for his sister when Big Mom targeted her and attempted to kill her. Niji even tried going back to save her before Ichiji told him to leave her behind.[21] Niji also did not hesitate to rush to his father's aid after he was struck down by Big Mom.[22] Later on, at Cacao Island, he personally escorted Sanji and Luffy to safety, narrowly saving his brother from being bombarded by a missile. While he saved his brother, he still called him a "good-for nothing" but in a joking manner.[23]

Niji has proven himself to be extremely cunning when the situation calls for it. He imitated Nusstorte's voice after he and his siblings defeated the army of Big Mom Pirates sent after them, and completely convinced Mont-d'Or that the Germa Kingdom had been crushed. Vinsmoke Niji, also known as "Electric Blue," is the ruthless, arrogant, and highly vindictive second son of the Germa Kingdom's royal family. Genetically engineered to lack empathy, he is sadistic, quick to anger, and takes visible pleasure in abusing his subordinates and commoners.Niji's core personality traits include:Engineered Apathy: Due to his father's scientific modifications, he lacks normal human emotions like sympathy or fear, allowing him to be cold-blooded in battle and completely unbothered by cruelty.Sadistic & Vindictive: He frequently attacks servants and commoners just to exert his dominance. He has a notoriously short fuse and often goes out of his way to dish out beatings.Arrogant & Elitist: As a Vinsmoke prince, he is highly prideful of his royal status. He fiercely looks down on anyone he considers "lesser," such as cooks, servants, or those who display kindness.Overcompensating & Impulsive: He follows his older brother, Ichiji, around and tries to be just as cool and tough, often overcompensating by being excessively loud and violent.Pragmatic Under Pressure: Despite his lack of emotion, he values efficiency and will occasionally show gratitude or concern if his life or a sibling's life is directly on the line. ICHIJI: Like most members of his family, Ichiji is proud of his royal status, looking down upon commoners and servants. Like his father, Niji, and Yonji, he expresses disgust at Sanji's displays of kindness towards such individuals and labels him a "disgrace" to the family name.[14] Despite being a prince of a highly imperialistic kingdom, however, Ichiji demonstrates little care for political affairs and said so when his family discussed the mission on Broc Coli Island.[15]

Since birth, Ichiji could not feel empathy and sympathy, due to the genetic modifications performed on him by his father.[16] He is cold and brutal to the people he fights, caring only about his task and not their lives. He expresses disdain for the people who oppose him, commenting that the four hours he spent fighting on Broc Coli Island had been a waste of effort. He also expects his subordinates in Germa 66 to lay down their lives for him at any point, showing no emotion at their deaths. Ichiji has also demonstrated that even the prospect of his death is not enough to move him. After Big Mom revealed her treachery, Ichiji reacted with nonchalance, speaking only to reprimand his father's tears as pathetic.[17] Ichiji is notably more hardened than Niji and Yonji as he was more focused on the mission. When Reiju was attacked by Big Mom, Ichiji simply dismissed Reiju as weak and told Niji to focus on their task to hold back the Big Mom Pirates. When his father was struck down by Big Mom, Ichiji did not bother to rush to Judge's aid, single-mindedly focused on escorting Bege and Caesar to safety as he attacked Katakuri. Unlike his more hot-headed younger brothers, Ichiji's usual manner is very calm and measured. However, when he is provoked, he reveals his capacity for extreme violence and brutality. During their childhood, Ichiji, Niji, and Yonji all enjoyed tormenting Sanji because of his relative physical weakness and his interest in cooking, but Ichiji appeared to enjoy it the most. His behavior during these encounters also demonstrates his aloofness, as he preferred to let Niji and Yonji do most of the attacking while he watched. However, when Sanji tried to retaliate against Ichiji during an episode of bullying, Ichiji proved to be the most vicious of the brothers, beating Sanji almost senseless and warning his younger brother to never touch him again.[5] When a despairing enemy soldier tried to shoot him during the war on Broc Coli Island, Ichiji told the man that he did not care about his dead family or his country before killing the soldier with his own gun.[1] Additionally, like his sister Reiju, Ichiji prefers to watch events unfold without interfering, forming his own opinions and speaking up primarily to have the last word in a conversation.[18][19]

Despite his ruthlessness and engineered apathy, Ichiji has a strong sense of appreciation and gratitude. When Oven attempted to kill both Sanji and his captain, Ichiji wasted no time in saving his brother by assaulting Oven as repayment for saving his life during Big Mom's Tea Party. Like his younger brothers, Ichiji possesses a lecherous streak, as he became lovestruck when he first saw Nami.[20] However, he is able to put his amorous tendencies aside and think rationally, as he reminds his brother Yonji that marrying into the Charlotte Family would require forfeiting their freedom after Yonji stated a desire to marry Charlotte Pudding himself. Unlike his brothers, Ichiji doesn't make goofy face faults or making strange sounds when he sees beautiful women, however, his eyes still turn into heart-shaped. Vinsmoke Ichiji, nicknamed "Sparking Red," is the calm, calculating, and ruthless eldest son of the Vinsmoke Family. Genetically modified to lack all empathy, he is intensely arrogant, fiercely proud of his royal heritage, and views commoners and "weak" individuals as expendable tools.Key Personality TraitsLacks Empathy: Due to his father's genetic modifications, Ichiji cannot feel sympathy or remorse. He views weakness as the ultimate evil and will casually sacrifice his own soldiers to protect himself.Calm & Aloof: Unlike his hot-headed brothers Niji and Yonji, Ichiji is collected and measured. He prefers to watch conflicts unfold from a distance, usually only speaking to deliver cold, final judgments.Ruthless Sadism: Despite his calm demeanor, he is capable of extreme brutality. In childhood, he was the primary instigator and ringleader behind the bullying of Sanji.Hyper-Focused on Missions: He is entirely mission-oriented, rarely caring about broader political affairs or even expressing fear in the face of his own death.</Host Club - One Piece's Persona> Germa 66 (pronounced Germa Double-Six), also known as the Warmongers (戦争屋, Sensōya?), is both the military branch of the Germa Kingdom, and an Underworld mercenary force commanded by the Kingdom's ruling family, the Vinsmoke Family.[2] They planned to align with the Big Mom Pirates, as part of a political agreement between the Charlotte and Vinsmoke Families,[4] but Germa 66 became enemies of Big Mom's crew after the latter revealed their treachery.

Due to their actions, Germa 66 are the secondary antagonist group for the first half of the Whole Cake Island Arc before they allied with the Straw Hats. They are also the central characters from Germa 66's Ahh... An Emotionless Excursion Cover Page Serial.

Germa 66 are popularly known throughout the world as the main antagonists of the fictional Marine hero Sora, as depicted in World Economic Journal's long-running propaganda comic strip Sora, Warrior of the Sea.[5] For this reason, the organization's existence is doubted by many, with Nami describing them as a "mythical evil army."[6] Furthermore, the East Blue nation of Cozia was also shocked to discover that Germa 66 was real, even while Germa was attacking them.[7] It was revealed by Vinsmoke Yonji that Germa 66 was chosen as the model for the comic's villain group because the name of its commanders was once considered synonymous with evil.[8]

On the other hand, the organization's existence is well-known in both the Underworld and the seas in which they have been militarily active.[9] Irrespective of whether or not people believe in the army's existence, the army retains a fearful reputation throughout the world.[10]

Activities and Abilities Germa 66's activities are a mix of national military expansion and Underworld warmongering. In the former case, they were involved in the Conquest of Four Nations, which culminated in the assassination of the kings of four North Blue nations.[11] In the latter case, they have been shown operating as mercenaries for hire; most recently, they were paid by one side of a two-year civil war on Broc Coli Island to eliminate the other side, which they managed in four hours, using only a portion of their forces.[12] The army's Vinsmoke commanders accept commissions on the basis of profitability but will not take on different sides of the same conflict even if it would generate a greater return.[13]

As a fighting squad, the Germa makes extensive and adept use of sophisticated military technology, which they continually improve and develop through engagement in warfare.[14] This technology is so advanced that Big Mom of the Four Emperors sought an alliance with the Vinsmokes in order to gain access to their resources.[15] The Vinsmoke siblings, who co-command Germa's forces directly under their father, are also genetically modified humans whose combat prowess and special abilities easily eclipse the limitations of average humans.[16] Furthermore, they have been shown to use combat gear, including shoes that allow them to hover in midair, jump large distances, and boost their kick power.[17][18] The army's supreme commander also possesses an assortment of weapons powered by electromagnetic energy.[19]

Germa 66's overall military might is immense, earning the group great notoriety and making it the source of great respect and desire for Big Mom. Aside from its demonstrated ability to defeat whole nations within hours,[12] it is also a highly mobile unit, which has so far been shown traversing both the North Blue and East Blue (a rare feat which requires crossing the Red Line),[20][21] as well as enter the New World. Germa's extensive reach allows it to make credible threats across different seas, as seen when Judge threatened the safety of the Baratie (located in the East Blue) from Germa's position in the New World.[22] They were able to utterly defeat a 10,000-strong army led by Charlotte Nusstorte of the Big Mom Pirates.

Germa 66's members and associated property make prominent use of the number "66" in various forms. It is commonly featured as part of their uniforms, as tattoos, and on their equipment (including their headphones and belts).[23] The Germa Kingdom's flag, and the sails of its ships, also bear the number.[24]

The organization's symbol is sometimes stylized with the second "6" rotated upside down; in this stylization, Germa's symbol resembles an ordinary skull with eyes like futatsudomoe. Whenever this version of the symbol is used within the Vinsmoke castle, it is overlaid with a lightning bolt between the two "6s".[25]

In the comic strip, the Germa's symbol consisted simply of a skull mark.

Uniform Germa 66 soldiers' uniforms. Germa 66 soldiers' uniforms.

The soldiers of Germa 66 wear dark grey suits with an orange "66" on the chest. They wear a short, white, double-breasted, pointed cowl that covers the head and shoulders, leaving only the nose and lower jaw visible. They also wear thin goggles, black headphones, grey boots, white gloves, and a yellow ascot.

When leading their troops into battle, each Vinsmoke commander wears a Raid Suit (レイドスーツ, Reido Sūtsu?) bearing their designated number: "0" for Vinsmoke Reiju, "1" for Vinsmoke Ichiji, "2" for Vinsmoke Niji, and "4" for Vinsmoke Yonji.[26][27][28] When not being worn, raid suits can be wholly contained inside small canisters, each marked with the Vinsmoke's allocated number (for Judge, the letter "J" marks his canister). Once clicked, the canisters rotate and release the material of the suit; this material remembers the shape of its wearer and is completely resistant to fire.[29]

Despite leaving the family and renouncing his ties to Germa 66,[30] Sanji (whose designated number would be "3") is still treated by others (most notably the Big Mom Pirates) as a member of the group,[31] until Sanji renounced his family and cut his ties to Germa 66 once again.[32]

Advertisement Commanders The Vinsmoke Family heads the organization, with the family patriarch, Vinsmoke Judge, operating as its supreme commander.[2]

Scientific Unit Germa 66's Scientific Unit is the primary source of the army's renowned strength. It is constituted by capable scientists working together under Judge to create more and more performing warfare technologies. They notably created its Clone Army, which constitutes Germa's main strength, and also successfully conducted experiments on the Vinsmoke siblings in order to make them "perfect warriors". Much of the Scientific Unit's work is a continuation of the research conducted by Judge with his former research partner, the famous World Government scientist Vegapunk.[33]

Clone Soldiers Further information: Cloning Capsules containing hundreds of Germa soldiers. Capsules containing hundreds of Germa soldiers.

Germa 66's present soldiers are artificially manufactured humans, using the cloning technology of the Germa Kingdom. So far, six types of Clone Soldiers have been shown:

Type-WB (Woman Balance) Type-MB (Man Balance) Type-MR (Man Reach) Type-MH (Man Heavy) Type-MST (Man Strong) Type-MSP (Man Speed) These types cover many distinctive physiques: soldiers of average size, tall and thin, and very broad and heavily muscular builds have all been seen. Regardless of their type, every one of them wears dark lenses over their eyes at all times. While cloned, they are kept in culture fluid capsules in a secluded section of the Vinsmoke Castle, being observed and monitored by the Scientific Unit in a sealed laboratory called the Soldier Stock Depot (兵士のストック倉庫デポ, Heishi no Sutokkudepo?).[34] They are known as Clone Soldiers (複製クローン兵, Kurōn Hei?) and are themselves not aware of their origins.

Germa 66's soldiers are known for their endless and tireless training; the clones spend every moment outside of battle in preparation for their next operation.[35] They are also fiercely loyal to their commanders and execute orders without hesitation.[12] They are indeed programmed to obey every order that is given by their superiors and will not hesitate to throw their lives away to protect a commander; even under trivial circumstances, a soldier will sacrifice himself purely to demonstrate the loyalty of the group.[36]

It is likely, however, that Germa 66's forces were not always comprised of clone soldiers, since the cloning technology used to manufacture them is an application of the Lineage Factor research discovered in relatively recent times by Judge and Vegapunk. Furthermore, it is said that these duplicates were created from the strongest soldiers of Germa, meaning the originals that served as the template were born human.[37]

Advertisement History Past The Germa 66 attending Sanji's funeral after his "death". The Germa 66 attending Sanji's funeral after his "death".

Sometime in the past, Germa 66 was involved in the infamous incident known as the Conquest of Four Nations, during which four kings in North Blue were assassinated by the army's leaders.[38]

Thirteen years ago, Judge ordered a number of Germa soldiers to imprison Sanji in the Vinsmoke castle's dungeons, and told the rest of the soldiers (to their great sadness) that one of their future commanders had died in an accident.[39] Six months later, Germa 66 crossed the Red Line and initiated a campaign against the nation of Cozia. During the early stages of the battle, Sanji successfully escaped the Germa Kingdom and fled onto the docked Orbit.[40]

Whole Cake Island Saga Zou Arc Recently, Germa 66 allied with the Big Mom Pirates, as part of a political alliance between the two families which command each respective force. To seal the alliance, a marriage was arranged between a member of each family: the Vinsmoke Family's third son, Sanji, and the Charlotte Family's thirty-fifth daughter, Pudding.[41]

As the Sanji Retrieval Team finally reached Big Mom's territory, their signal was detected by underwater sea slugs before they were subsequently discovered by one of Germa 66's ships.[42] Germa 66 was surprised to see them, as they had intended to meet up with Sanji. As Vinsmoke Yonji conversed with the Straw Hats, tensions flared as he refused to help them cure Luffy of his poisoning; however, Vinsmoke Reiju appeared and cured Luffy, conversing briefly with the Straw Hat Pirates about the history of her family and Germa 66. Shortly afterwards, Germa 66 parted ways with the Sanji Retrieval Team, having decided to pretend that they had not encountered the team.[43]

Germa 66 ends Broc Coli Island's war. Germa 66 ends Broc Coli Island's war.

Three days before the wedding was scheduled to occur, Germa 66, led by Vinsmoke Ichiji and Vinsmoke Niji, put an end to a two-year civil war on Broc Coli Island within four hours, in exchange for an undisclosed payment.[12]

Meanwhile, the rest of Germa 66's forces and ships began to converge at Whole Cake Island, reassembling the Germa Kingdom in preparation for the wedding.[44] There, Sanji reunited with members of his family after 13 years of estrangement before being challenged to a duel by his father. During the duel, a crowd of Germa 66 agents watched on, cheering both sides on as the fight intensified.[45]

The day before the wedding, the Germa soldiers gave Ichiji and Niji a hero's reception upon their return to the kingdom; in particular, they expressed their awe at the brothers' success in quelling the uprising in Broc Coli Island.[46] Later that day, following a confrontation between himself and Niji, Sanji went in pursuit of Niji, only to encounter Yonji. Yonji offered to take Sanji to Niji but instead led Sanji to a laboratory in a sequestered area of the Vinsmoke castle, inside of which a shocked Sanji discovered hundreds of Germa 66 soldiers being monitored inside liquid capsules.[47]

Germa 66 were later seen escorting their commanding family to Whole Cake Chateau. During the procession, they were encountered by Luffy and Nami, who tried unsuccessfully to convince Sanji to leave with them. As Sanji and Luffy dueled, Germa's soldiers observed Sanji's Diable Jambe attacks in amazement.[48]

After leaving Luffy and Nami behind, Germa 66 arrived at Big Mom's castle. The Vinsmoke Family then had their lunch meeting with Big Mom and Pudding.[49] After the meal, Big Mom took the Vinsmokes on a tour at her library.[50] The Vinsmokes were later given guest rooms, and Reiju went alone to investigate Pudding, who shot and captured her. Inside Pudding's room, Pudding revealed to Reiju about Big Mom's plot to assassinate the Vinsmoke Family during the wedding. She then altered Reiju's memories before sending her to the infirmary. Sanji, who had overheard Pudding, went to Reiju and revealed the truth to her.[51] Reiju decided to pretend to have no knowledge of the plot and tried to convince Sanji to leave.[52]

On the day of the wedding, the soldiers at the Germa Kingdom commented on the impending wedding. Meanwhile, the Vinsmokes went to the wedding venue.[53] During the ceremony, Big Mom's plan to assassinate the Vinsmokes went awry when Pudding did not shoot Sanji as planned. After Katakuri tried and failed to kill Sanji, the Sanji Retrieval Team entered the venue and began causing chaos.[54] Perospero then restrained the Vinsmokes to their seats with candy as members of the Charlotte Family held them at gunpoint. However, after Luffy successfully caused Big Mom to start screaming, Sanji freed his family while the other Straw Hats provided them earplugs and their raid suits.[55]

With the Big Mom Pirates beginning to recover from Big Mom's scream, the Vinsmokes donned their raid suits and aided the Sanji Retrieval Team in retreating to Bege's Big Father fortress by fending off the Big Mom Pirates.[56] Inside the fortress, the Vinsmokes decided to face off against Big Mom to give Sanji's friends and allies an opening to escape.[57] While they are soon overpowered by the Charlotte Family, an unexpected explosion triggers the collapse of Whole Cake Chateau and allows everyone, including the Vinsmokes, to escape.[58] With the exception of Sanji, the family fled the chateau and retreated back to their kingdom. After defeating the Big Mom Pirates squad sent after them, Niji tricked Mont-d'Or into thinking that Germa 66 had been crushed. They were then informed of the status of the Straw Hats, and Ichiji gave the order for Germa's ships to set sail.[59]

Hours later, Germa 66 arrived at Cacao Island and attacked the Big Mom Pirates' fleet surrounding the island, rescuing Luffy and Sanji in the process.[60]

As the battle raged on, the Big Mom Pirates brought anti-Germa bullets and used them to injure the Vinsmoke siblings.[61] When the Straw Hats finally escaped Totto Land, Germa 66 prepared to withdraw. However, Big Mom arrived at Cacao Island before they could retreat.[62]

Advertisement Wano Country Saga Germa 66's Ahh... An Emotionless Excursion Germa 66 managed to escape from Totto Land.[63] However, the Vinsmoke siblings Niji and Yonji were held captive on Chocolat Town inside one of Mont-d'Or's books.[64] They were then transported to a lab on Whole Cake Island where the Charlotte siblings intended to experiment on them.[65] The book suddenly burned up and freed the captive brothers as Reiju and Ichiji arrived, defeated the Charlotte siblings, and helped them escape.[66] During their escape, Caesar Clown assisted them against Katakuri and Oven, and they escaped together.[67] The group made it back to the Germa Kingdom, where Caesar and Judge began to fight each other.[68] But after remembering their time in MADS, they decided to ally with each other and create the organization NEO MADS to rival their old colleague Vegapunk.[69]

Vinsmoke Sora[3][2] was the queen of the Germa Kingdom, the wife of Vinsmoke Judge and the mother of Vinsmoke Reiju, Vinsmoke Ichiji, Vinsmoke Niji, Sanji and Vinsmoke Yonji [1] who died sometime during Sanji's childhood.

Appearance Sora was a pale-skinned young woman with wavy shoulder-length blonde hair that had a tuft covering her right eye and dark-blue eyes. Her hairstyle and her overall facial features bear great resemblance to those of her daughter, Vinsmoke Reiju.[1] She wore a blue long-sleeved dress with frills and no shoes.

When she was pregnant with her quadruplet sons, Sora had longer hair, pink lipstick and she wore a white short-sleeved dress with frills and pink shoes.

Personality Sora was a very kind and caring woman with great strength of character where she loved her children and was fiercely protective of them, believing that they should grow up with normal human emotions and not as cold killing machines. As a result, she did everything in her power to resist her husband's experiments on their sons, to the point of sacrificing her own life.

Sora deeply cherished compassion and doted in particular on Vinsmoke Reiju and Sanji, the only two of her children to exhibit empathy and compassion, in order to encourage these traits. She could also be very emotional, as she readily burst into tears when recounting Sanji's well wishes to Reiju and Époni.[4]

Vinsmoke Judge Sora and her husband Vinsmoke Judge had conflicting ideals, which were complicated by their positions as the monarchic rulers of the warmongering Germa Kingdom. While Judge wanted to endow their sons with surgical enhancements that would give them superhuman power to wage and win wars, Sora did not want it to cost them their humanity. Ultimately, Judge forced her to undergo the surgery, and Sora, maintaining her opposition, took a drug to counteract the surgery and eventually succumbed to its after-effects.[4]

After Sora passed away, Judge wished to move on from her way of doing things as he saw no merit and nothing to be gained by continuing the legacy of a deceased person and did not want his children to emulate her kind actions.[5] In modifying the Lineage Factor of their quadruplet sons against her will, and then neglecting and discarding Sanji (their only son to live up to Sora's efforts), Judge effectively trampled on Sora's wishes.[4]

Advertisement Children Sora loved all of her children and it was this love which motivated her to risk her own life. While she was pregnant with their four sons, she took a drug that was intended to counteract the effects of the genetic modification surgery Vinsmoke Judge would ultimately force her to undergo. However, the drug failed to work on Vinsmoke Ichiji, Vinsmoke Niji and Vinsmoke Yonji, leaving Sanji as the only one capable of experiencing empathy.

While not much is known about her relationship with Ichiji, Niji and Yonji, Sora's love was reciprocated by Vinsmoke Reiju and Sanji, both of whom would occasionally visit her in the medical ward. Sora doted in particular on Sanji due to the latter's kindness and compassion. She ate his poorly-made food (which tasted disgusting) with a smile and praised him as the "sweetest boy in the world" when he told her his hopes for her quick recovery. During Reiju's visits, Sora would proudly share with her daughter stories about Sanji's emotional growth.[4]

After Sora's passing, Sanji continued to develop his cooking skills and decided to become a cook in her memory.[5] An adult Reiju also continues to recall memories of her mother with great fondness while harboring great anger and resentment towards Judge for contributing directly to Sora's death. However, this resentment does not seem to extend to her brothers. When Sanji finally learned from Reiju the reason for their mother's early death, Sanji was horrified and began to blame himself, but Reiju stopped him by telling him that Sora had no regrets about her choice.[4]

Abilities and Powers As queen consort of the Germa Kingdom, Sora had authority over its citizens before her death, although her command appeared to be second to that of her husband's. She also had enough scientific knowledge to procure and consume a drug to counteract genetic enhancement surgery on her unborn children, although the drug had lethal side effects which caused irreversible damage to her health.[4]

History Biography At some point in the past, Sora married Vinsmoke Judge, thereby becoming queen of the Germa Kingdom. Twenty-four years ago, she later gave birth to their first and only daughter named Vinsmoke Reiju and she soon became pregnant with quadruplet sons (Vinsmoke Ichiji, Vinsmoke Niji, Sanji and Vinsmoke Yonji) three years later.[1][6]

Sora takes a drug to try to humanize her sons. Sora takes a drug to try to humanize her sons.

Before their sons were born, Sora argued with her husband about giving them genetic modifications and she was against him turning their sons into emotionless beings, but Judge was only concerned with giving them the physical power and emotional coldness to fight and win wars. Sora was eventually forced to undergo surgery, but she took a drug that was intended to counteract the effects of the surgery. However, the drug she took only affected Sanji while weakening her health to the point of death. Despite this, Sora had no regrets and was immensely overjoyed and proud whenever Sanji showed signs of kindness.[4]

In her final years, Sora was bedridden in the Germa Kingdom's medical ward where she was attended to by Époni. On one occasion, Sanji visited his mother and gave her a meal that he had prepared for her. Even though it looked and tasted terrible, she ate the meal and said it was delicious.[1] On another occasion, Sanji told her that he hoped she would recover soon, leaving her in tears. Sora was also regularly visited by Reiju, to whom Sora would often speak happily about Sanji and his continued emotional growth.[4]

Sora died over 13 years ago prior to the Germa Kingdom's invasion of Cozia in the East Blue.[1]

Advertisement Legacy Despite Vinsmoke Judge considering Sora's values to be worthless to the point that he scorned their third son for upholding her legacy, Sanji's kindness and compassion would ironically prove crucial in saving the Vinsmoke Family from being assassinated by the Big Mom Pirates in the future. Despite all the suffering his father and brothers caused him, Sanji still chose to save his family due to having the kindness Sora cherished and valued so much. Vinsmoke Reiju was also extremely moved by the lengths Sanji would go to save their family, despite the cruelty they had shown him.[7]

Years later, Sanji developed the same modifications as his brothers during the raid on Onigashima due to repeatedly wearing the Raid Suit he had been given.[8] Fortunately, Sora's efforts were not in vain despite gaining genetic enhancements, Sanji still retain his compassion and empathy unlike his brothers as his new found strength along with his compassion which Sora died to preserve allow him to better help people instead of hurting the innocent as Sanji defeated Queen, further contribute to Wano's liberation from twenty years of tyranny under the Beast Pirates.[9]

The Revolutionary Army is a military organization founded and led by Monkey D. Dragon.

Originally known as the Freedom Fighters before assuming their current name, they are the most prominent force in the world that directly opposes the World Government and seeks to dismantle it.[4][5] They are particularly against the World Nobles of Mary Geoise who control and benefit from the corruption of the World Government.[6] The Army and its members have repeatedly assisted the Straw Hat Pirates.[7][8][9][10]

Their former base of operations was the island of Baltigo,[11] but after an intensive battle with the Blackbeard Pirates,[3] they relocated to Momoiro Island, home of the Kamabakka Kingdom.[2]

Advertisement Overview The Revolutionary Army's primary objective is to fight against the World Government's rule over the world by defying political oppression and corruption.[12][13] Most of the Revolutionary Army's efforts are focused on liberating individual islands from local governments that are under the World Government and who are willing to oppress their own people to pay the Heavenly Tribute. These small revolutions become easier if the World Government or its affiliates are in disarray or if the local population is willing to depose their rulers.[14] According to Koala, their true purpose is to overthrow the tyrannical and hedonistic World Nobles as well as the monarchies that support them.[6]

Due to being an independent militia, another goal of the Revolutionary Army is to stockpile arms in order to build up their military strength. Normally, the Revolutionary Army funds itself by pillaging from the Marines or receiving support from kingdoms under their influence, much like the Four Emperors. Furthermore, they monitored the Donquixote Family's underworld activity for the purposes of obtaining the weapons that he traded and rescued their comrades who had been transformed and enslaved as toys.[15] The arrest of Donquixote Doflamingo allowed the revolutionaries to seize all the weapons manufactured on Dressrosa.[16][14]

The Revolutionaries muster their forces by recruiting rescued slaves, destitute people who are oppressed by the Celestial Dragons and their monarchs, and rebels from Kingdoms that they help liberate, as well as training young children into adulthood[17] and providing contact information to normal civilians that desire not to be oppressed for being considered weak.[18] Those who wish to fight for the group are required to learn how to use weapons and employ military tactics. This policy was designed by Monkey D. Dragon, himself a former Marine with enough experience in training drills.

The war efforts of the Revolutionary Army culminated with distinguished heads of state and the general public recognizing their opposition to the government and being shocked by the endeavors.[19][4] The rapid development and progress of this resistance movement agitated the government so much that they were required to initiate clandestine operations that were not known to the general public to disrupt their plans.[20]

Despite eventually initiating conspicuous and perpetual military hostilities against the Celestial Dragons, several prominent revolutionaries maintain the belief of only assisting people so that they can be able to help themselves. Ivankov explains to a pleading Bentham that he is not a miracle worker, thinking that miracles only come to those who are determined and not for those who only depend on others. According to Ivankov, he always questions the "will to live" of the nations he saved as a revolutionary.[21] This was substantiated when the four Revolutionary Commanders went to the Lulusia Kingdom to protect the citizens from the Peachbeard Pirates. Rather than saving the citizens by engaging the pirates directly, the commanders instead empowered and supported the civilians so that they could fight against the pirates themselves by boosting the citizens' strength and morale through Belo Betty's Devil Fruit abilities as well as incapacitating and stealing the pirates' weapons.[22]

The personnel of the Revolutionary Army have shown to be extremely dedicated to the cause to the point of putting aside their personal feelings and desires for the greater good. This is shown when Ginny was captured and enslaved; Bartholomew Kuma never attempted to raid Mary Geoise to save her, instead fighting harder to help the rebels in countries that need a helping hand, not wanting to compromise his duty and the Revolutionary Army as a whole for Ginny.[23] This selflessness even applied to Ginny as she sacrificed herself to carry Bonney to safety after being released from her enslavement, not wanting to involve her fellow revolutionaries into her inevitable death. Emporio Ivankov and Inazuma have shown to not carry any ill-will toward Dragon for not attempting to break them out of Impel Down.[24]

King Thalassa Lucas once stated during the Levely that their ideals and actions were dangerous.[19] People who join the Revolutionary Army are considered notorious threats to the government, especially the high-ranking members. The leader, Dragon, is known as "The World's Worst Criminal",[25] the second in command, Sabo, engaged Marine Admiral Fujitora in direct combat,[26][27] and members Emporio Ivankov and Inazuma were imprisoned in Level 5 of Impel Down.[28][29]

According to Nico Robin and Donquixote Doflamingo, despite mutually opposing the World Government and Marines, revolutionaries and pirates rarely cooperate.[4][30] The two factions can become hostile to each other due to conflicting objectives, not to mention two sides often try to loot each other. This was seen when the Blackbeard Pirates attacked and destroyed the Revolutionary Army base at Baltigo to acquire weaponry stolen from the Donquixote Pirates and again when the Revolutionary Army commanders defeated the Peachbeard Pirates to prevent them from raiding the port town of the Lulusia Kingdom.[22] However, they can occasionally collaborate to fulfill a mutual objective or defeat a common enemy. After the events of the Dressrosa Arc, Rob Lucci realized the revolutionaries had used the chaos of the uprising incited by the Straw Hat-Heart Alliance to seize munitions and evidence related to Doflamingo's black market activities.[16]

Upon learning that Luffy is the son of the leader Dragon, the Marines made it a top priority for Luffy to be eliminated due to this heritage.[31] They have also been informed about the Chief of Staff Sabo's connection to the Straw Hat Pirates' captain.[32][33]

Originally known as the smaller scale Freedom Fighters, the group was established by Monkey D. Dragon, a former Marine and son of Vice Admiral Monkey D. Garp. Later on, Emporio Ivankov of the Kamabakka Kingdom and Bartholomew Kuma of the Sorbet Kingdom joined forces with Dragon and founded the modern Revolutionary Army proper, which is currently led by its supreme commander (総司令官, sōshireikan?) Dragon and chief of staff (参謀総長, sanbō sōcho?) Sabo, who oversees the army's personnel and is recognized as the "No. 2" of the organization.[36]

Army and Deputy Commanders The forces of the Revolutionary Army are divided into five armies, each of which operate in a specific region of the world. The G Army operates in the Grand Line, the North Army operates in the North Blue, the East Army operates in the East Blue, the South Army operates in the South Blue, and the West Army operates in the West Blue. Each army is led by an army commander (軍隊長, guntaichō?, English versions: captain), and each commander has a deputy commander (副軍隊長, fuku guntaichō?, English versions: vice captain) who assists them.[37][38] The commanders and deputies of each army are as follows:

Unit Army Commander Deputy Commander G Army (G軍, G-gun?) Emporio Ivankov Inazuma North Army (北軍, Hokugun?) Karasu Jiron East Army (東軍, Tōgun?) Belo Betty Ahiru West Army (西軍, Seigun?) Morley Ushiano South Army (南軍, Nangun?) Lindbergh Gambo Apart from Dragon and Sabo, the commanders are the most powerful individuals in the Revolutionary Army. All five of them are proficient in using Haki and are able to contend with some of the most powerful Marines, as both Karasu and Morley were able to each hold their own against Fujitora and Ryokugyu during their raid on Mary Geoise, despite both being Admirals.

Ginny, a former resident of the Sorbet Kingdom and friend of Bartholomew Kuma and Emporio Ivankov, was formerly an Army Commander, having led the East Army before she died.[39] After her death, the position was locked in her memory, until Kuma gave his blessing for Belo Betty to assume the position.[40]

Bartholomew Kuma, a founding member[41] strong enough to have once acted under the Seven Warlords of the Sea, also held the rank of officer,[42] being an Army Commander of an as of yet unknown Army.[39]

Advertisement Officers The Revolutionary Army also features a number of other officers and strong fighters, such as Koala[43] and Terry Gilteo, who's an officer and intelligence controller for the Revolutionary Army.[44][45]

Wind Granma is a large ship that has a figurehead and theme of an actual dragon, complete with a small dragon tail.

This ship was kept around for at least ten years, as seen when Dragon used it to rescue the citizens from the Gray Terminal,[47] and when they landed to get supplies.[48] After the Summit War of Marineford, it was seen moored outside of the headquarters.[35]

Rhino Carriage When rescuing the slaves of Tequila Wolf, and escorting Nico Robin to meet with Dragon, the Revolutionary Army used a rhino-drawn carriage bearing the army's flag.[34]

History Past At some point after his defection from the Marines due to his disbelief in "justice", particularly after being in the God Valley Incident, Dragon became the leader of a militant group known as the Freedom Fighters, acting more akin to mercenaries than a proper militia due to a lack of funds/weaponry. He attempted to recruit Dr. Vegapunk into his ranks, but the scientist declined due to Dragon's lack of monetary funds to take advantage of his scientific research.

The Freedom Fighters become the Revolutionary Army. The Freedom Fighters become the Revolutionary Army.

22 years ago, several months after the Ohara Incident, Dragon met with Dr. Vegapunk again at Ohara and lamented the tragedy that had befallen the scholars by the Buster Call. Dragon then declared to the scientist that he would eventually form an army big and powerful enough to tackle the World Government head-on despite his personal hatred of war.[49] During that same year, Dragon joined forces with Emporio Ivankov and the rest of the Freedom Fighters to attack the Sorbet Kingdom due to the tyranny of their King, Bekori, and his outrageous policies splitting the kingdom in two as a means of appeasing the World Nobles, whom Dragon and Ivankov noted were very similar in principle to them, fueling their disgust and anger. They drove Bekori out of the kingdom and achieved a successful revolution, with Ivankov reuniting with his old friends, Bartholomew Kuma and Ginny. Having recommended his old friend to Dragon and the rebel leader impressed by Kuma's willingness to oppose Bekori alone, they were able to recruit Kuma and Ginny to their cause and introducing them to Dragon.[5]

Within this period of time, the strength and numbers of the militant force finally grew to the size Dragon deemed efficient enough to formally dissolve the Freedom Fighters and restructure it into a new group, now called the Revolutionary Army, with Emporio Ivankov and Bartholomew Kuma assisting Dragon as the army's co-founders. The majority of the former Freedom Fighters remained part of this new army, with Ginny eventually becoming one of the army's commanders. Fourteen years ago, an incident occurred with Ginny getting captured by the World Government, and Dragon being alerted to the issue.[49][5]

Twelve years ago, the Revolutionaries came to the Goa Kingdom[12] and rescued the people of Gray Terminal from the conflagration the nobles created to destroy the trash for the upcoming visit of World Noble Jalmack.[50] After the covert rescue mission was completed, the Revolutionary Army docked in Shimotsuki Village for a period of recuperation. The Isshin Dojo assisted them with provisions and supplies for the injured residents of Gray Terminal. Meanwhile, Dragon brought in Sabo, who had been a victim of a World Noble assault earlier that day and needed urgent medical care.[48] Shortly after the incident at Goa, the Revolutionary Army received a request for aid from Tumi, and though they initially planned to turn it down due to their forces being stretched thin, Kuma volunteered to go by himself, despite his comrades' protests due to him overworking following Ginny's abduction as a distraction. His presence single-handedly turned the situation around and gained Tumi its freedom.

That same year, the army learned of Ginny's whereabouts as she contacted them via Den Den Mushi but could not do anything to save her, as she was already in the final stage of her illness. Ginny, however, was able to leave a child behind that Kuma promised to raise in her honor. Less than 5 years later, circumstances resulted in Kuma hesitantly choosing to resign from the army after it was revealed that Bonney contracted the same disease as her mother and him feeling that watching over her became his top priority, with Dragon understanding his plight.[51]

Six years later, Thalassa Lucas brought up Dragon during the Levely at Mary Geoise, fearing the leader of the Revolutionaries was getting stronger and that in five or six years he would be a menace to the World Government.[19]

At some point, Emporio Ivankov and Inazuma were incarcerated within Level 5 of Impel Down[28][29] for their membership in the Revolutionary Army. Ever since, they have been waiting for the call to arms to rejoin the conflict.[52]

Dragon went to Loguetown to see his son Monkey D. Luffy off on his journey to the Grand Line. When Smoker nearly captured Luffy, Dragon intervened, allowing Luffy to escape.[55]

Water 7 Saga Enies Lobby Arc At some point before the Enies Lobby incident, three CP9 assassins, Jabra, Fukurou, and Kumadori, were sent to an unnamed town to assassinate three important revolutionary leaders. However, they were also forced to eliminate twenty extra people thanks to Fukurou revealing his unit's presence and their intentions to the town.[20]

Post-Enies Lobby Arc Sometime after Enies Lobby was annihilated by the Buster Call, the Revolutionary Army declared a victory in the South Blue, at a country called Centaurea. With this recent victory, members of the Revolutionary Army believed that they could start on the North Blue, but their leader, Dragon, believed that they were celebrating too soon in the war.[11]

Summit War Saga Impel Down Arc With the discovery that Monkey D. Luffy is Dragon's son and, under the assumption that Luffy's brother Portgas D. Ace was also Dragon's son, with the latter's impending execution, the two imprisoned Revolutionaries decided that the time to escape had arrived.[7]

Marineford Arc After escaping Impel Down, Ivankov and Inazuma assisted Luffy in his attempt to rescue Ace from execution. During the battle, the world learned of Luffy's connection to Dragon.[30] After Ace was killed by Admiral Akainu, the two revolutionaries defended Luffy from the admiral's onslaught.[56][57]

The Revolutionary Army liberated Tequila Wolf, freeing all the slaves being used as forced labor there, among whom was Nico Robin, who was sent there by Bartholomew Kuma.[13] They had been looking for Robin for ten years, knowing she came from Ohara and the threat she represents to the government, calling her the "Light of the Revolution" and asked her to join them. She gracefully declined however, and they allowed her to return to the Straw Hat Pirates, entrusting her with Luffy. The Revolutionaries also read about an incident involving Luffy, and they gave the newspaper to Robin.[58]

As the word of the Summit War of Marineford emerged to the Revolutionary camps, Sabo immediately gained a jolt to his lost memory discovering the death of his brother Ace and Luffy's involvement in the battle, making him remember everything for the first time in 10 years. With this knowledge and new determination, Sabo decides to assist in protecting Luffy from here on in honor of their brotherhood as well as the Revolutionary's mission. Likewise, during this, Dragon confirms his connection to his son Luffy without controversy.[59]

In a conversation between Dragon and Ivankov, the Okama Queen stated that Dragon's whole identity has been revealed, even his familial relationship with Garp. Dragon reassured Ivankov, saying that the whole revolutionary faction was relieved to know that their leader is human. Dragon then informed Ivankov that since Whitebeard died, they will soon have to gather the Revolutionary leaders spread around the world as the world's balance of power was beginning to shift.[60]

After receiving Luffy's message[61] for the Straw Hats to meet up in two years,[62] Robin decided to meet Dragon instead of going back to Sabaody Archipelago. The revolutionaries then escorted Robin to Dragon's headquarters in Baltigo.[9]

Sabo, the revolutionaries' second-in-command, came to Dressrosa alongside Koala and Hack to investigate and put a stop to an arms trade that has been promoting wars throughout the world. According to Koala, the revolutionaries sent many agents to infiltrate Dressrosa to expose the Donquixote Pirates' black market activities, but they were captured and transformed into toys.[36] Hack entered the tournament for the Mera Mera no Mi,[63] but was defeated in the first round.[64] He was later imprisoned,[65] and transformed into a toy made to work as a slave in the underground trade port.[66] Meanwhile, after reuniting with his sworn brother Luffy, Sabo decided to take Luffy's place in the Corrida Colosseum disguised as "Lucy" in order to win Ace's Devil Fruit and inherit Ace's will.[10] Sabo won the Mera Mera no Mi and consumed it, demonstrating its power by using Hiken to destroy the arena ring, exposing the underground.[67] He then reunited with Koala and Hack at the underground trade port. However, Sabo noted that the place where the weapons were produced was located somewhere else, declaring that it would be a nice souvenir for Dragon if they found it.[68]

The three, along with Rebecca and Bartolomeo, later encountered Robin and Usopp.[69] After Doflamingo activated his "Birdcage" he placed bounties on twelve certain people, Sabo among them, giving him three-star ranking(Beli300,000,000 bounty), the same number of stars as Luffy.[70] The group then fled from pirates seeking their bounties with the aid of Bartolomeo's barrier,[71] during which time Hack noticed Sabo is not with them,[72]. Meanwhile, Koala remained in the underground trade port to continue her investigation, discovering that the ships at the trade port were actually merchant ships disguised as pirate ships.[73]
