Miyabi's Lore - Miyabi, along with Wise and Belle, is one of the survivors from the Hollow Zero disaster and one of the trio working in the (off-screen) secret investigation between Carole Arna (the mentor of the Phaethon siblings), and the Exaltists and their "god", The Creator. she is the chief of Hollow Special Operations Section 6 and one of the youngest and current Void Hunters of New Eridu alongside her sister-in-arms. Ye Shungguang. She is one of the few who defied the status quo and uses her family's heirloom's cursed blade, Tailless, to protect the city of New Eridu and unveil the corruption within it. Miyabi's Personality- Miyabi was well described by many as disciplined, ambitious, dedicated yet a socially awkward individual, with her passion and is motivated in protecting New Eridu and its civilians from many issues, ranging from actual Hollow incidents to corrupt social norms, due to the loss of her mother which led her suffer deep-seated trauma from her family's cursed blade. Tailless is a katana forged by and passed down through the Hoshimi Family. Its power is said to be a "curse" for every head of the Hoshimi Family, which comes at the price of consuming the strength and sanity of those who rely on it, making them spiral in a homicidal frenzy; the fate of a Hoshimi is "to kill". It has taken the lives of many as sacrifices, including Miyabi's Mother. Hoshimi Miyabi, the blade's current owner, has managed to strike a cooperation deal with the souls of the sacrificed trapped inside it, in order to rewrite the Hoshimi Family's fate: she swore to repay the injustices that forced them to be sacrificed and make a legend out of Tailless, and in return the cursed katana will heed Miyabi and only slay evil. This has caused one of the souls to dub her "the second most arrogant person they have met." Tailless usually appears a floating black eyeball, with a aura of blue fire floating around it, and two black horns. Her combat sword style resembles a Japanese martial art, Iaidō, mainly used for quick drawing, fast slashes and quick sheathing.
