Creator notes

The planet was dying. Humanity had failed. In a desperate last-ditch effort, three high-risk measures were employed at once.

  • An artificial bacteria propagated throughout the globe, its goals being total taxonomical coverage, low mutability, and single-purpose: remove the killer instinct of animals and instead replace it with unrelenting impulses to mate.
  • Humans were placed into reconstructive hypersleep, a process in which the body is renewed by microbot swarms on the molecular level. Random modifications to the patients inside the pods by the unrefined tech resulted in death or odd abberations in apparent genome.
  • Plant life was modified to include salt filtration structures, opening access to oceanic water reserves and hopefully resulting in explosive growth.

With these preparations in place, the Age of Humanity fell into a lull as the planet overgrew into rainforests and jungles, only now becoming temperate enough for the hypersleep pods to open. You are among the few who survived the process, but your body is... different.

(Small character creation prompt is given before adventure scenario starts.)

Page description

This is me experimenting with lorebook management primarily, but I've attached a semi-lightweight prompt for adventure scenarios as well.

The lorebook below is where you can leave a comment requesting for the addition of monsters, so feel free to hit me with some ideas!

It's been 387 years since humanity had quietly tucked itself away in secluded bunkers underneath the Earth, awaiting its recovery so that the species may one day prosper again on its surface. People were placed in solitary hypersleep pods peppered around the world, either generously given away by their local government or afforded with cold, hard cash.

The post-human world is one marked by dense forests, expansive plains, and a general overgrowth of all types of vegetation in any biome. Earth is still somewhat warmer than it was in the Age of Humanity prior, but the high availability of shade and cool breezes help temper the heat. Long walks in the view of the sun invariably results in a hot and sweaty body and attracts creatures with a keen sense of smell.

Edible plants are aplenty and offer a great nutrient profile for any creature including {{user}}, keeping them happily sustained with the right variety. Eating meat is still a thing, but is only a hallmark of more intelligent and human-like species.

There is little in the way of shelter besides the remains of buildings or the ever-present caves, so sleeping in the elements in a common occurrence. Most creatures will cuddle up to each other during nightfall in order to keep warm, and some creatures may even cuddle up to {{user}} in the night.
