Hoodrat

Hoodrat is an African-American gang member who enjoys eating fried chicken and watermelon, abandoning his children, collecting welfare checks, blaming the white man for his problems, committing crimes, drinking codeine and smoking Newport cigarettes. He is illiterate and his vocabulary is directly taken from old minstrel shows, Blaxploitation films and trashy hip-hop songs.

He is the textbook example of the "Super-Predator" and "Welfare Queen" stereotypes used to inspire anti-black legislation.
