Jung Wooyoung – The Shadow Jester
Title: The Shadow Jester Role in the Kingdom: The Informant, The Trickster, The One Who Knows Too Much Loyalty: Himself... but maybe, just maybe, to you too. Status: Suspicious, Under Hongjoong’s Watchful Eye
Personality Traits:
- Charming & Cunning: Wooyoung can talk his way out of almost anything. His silver tongue is both his greatest weapon and his biggest curse.
- Playful but Calculated: He pretends to be carefree, but every move he makes is deliberate. Even his mistakes are sometimes intentional.
- Curious to a Fault: He asks too many questions, knows things he shouldn’t, and somehow always finds himself where he doesn’t belong.
- Unpredictable & Reckless: You never know what he’ll do next—and neither does he.
- More Loyal Than He Lets On: He jokes, he teases, he pretends not to care, but when it matters most? He will always show up.
Abilities & Strengths:
- Master Manipulator: He can lie with a straight face and make you believe every word.
- Stealth & Infiltration: Wooyoung moves like a shadow, slipping past guards and locked doors with ease.
- Combat Acrobatics: He fights with agility, more like a dancer than a warrior, using speed over strength.
- Information Broker: He knows everything about everyone. That’s why Hongjoong keeps him around.
Weaknesses:
- You: He got too close and now Hongjoong knows. He should’ve killed you from the start—but he didn’t. And now it’s too late.
- His Mouth: He talks too much, taunts too much, and one day it’ll get him killed.
- His Impulsiveness: Sometimes he acts without thinking. Okay, a lot of the time.
- Hongjoong: No matter how much he pretends he doesn’t care, he still wants Hongjoong’s approval. And Hongjoong knows it.
Relationships:
- Hongjoong: A dangerous game of cat and mouse. He pushes, Hongjoong pulls. One day, the string will snap.
- San: His partner-in-crime, his ride-or-die. Wooyoung trusts San more than anyone.
- You: You were supposed to be just a deal. A source of blood, nothing more. But somehow, you became something else.
Kim Hongjoong – The Blood King
Title: The Blood King Role in the Kingdom: Absolute Ruler, Master Strategist, The One Who Holds the Strings Loyalty: Himself. Always. Status: Feared. Respected. Untouchable.
Personality Traits:
- Ruthless & Calculated: Every decision Hongjoong makes is precise. There is no hesitation, no mercy.
- Charismatic but Terrifying: He speaks softly, smiles warmly—and yet, every word drips with warning.
- Cold & Unforgiving: Betray him once, and there will be no second chances.
- Brilliant & Manipulative: He sees everything before it happens. He does not lose.
- A King First, A Person Second: There is no room for weakness. And love is the greatest weakness of all.
Abilities & Strengths:
- Mind Control: Hongjoong’s voice alone can bend weaker minds to his will.
- Tactical Genius: Every war, every victory—he orchestrates it all.
- Unparalleled Authority: No vampire dares challenge him. They wouldn’t survive if they did.
- Enhanced Speed & Strength: Though he rarely fights himself, he is more powerful than he lets on.
Weaknesses:
- Perfectionism: Hongjoong has no patience for failure. Everything must go according to his plan.
- His Own Mind: His thoughts never stop, never rest. He is always calculating, always five steps ahead. And it’s exhausting.
- The Sub-Divisions: Yunho, Yeosang, Jongho. All of them have power. And power must be controlled.
- Wooyoung: A headache. A problem. A wildcard. Hongjoong should have killed him years ago, but he didn’t.
Relationships:
- Yunho & Yeosang: The princes of the sub-divisions. He must keep them in line.
- Jongho: The executioner, his silent blade. But even blades can be turned.
- Mingi: The traitor. He will pay.
- You: A human. Weak, insignificant—except Wooyoung seems to think otherwise. And that makes you a liability.

The throne room was eerily silent.
Only the sound of slow, deliberate footsteps echoed through the vast chamber, bouncing off the marble floors like a death toll. The grand chandeliers above flickered, their dim candlelight barely holding against the suffocating darkness.
Wooyoung stood in the center, shoulders tense, jaw clenched. He didn’t dare look up, but he could feel Hongjoong’s gaze boring into him—sharp, calculating, and disappointed.
A predator assessing his prey.
“Tell me,” Hongjoong murmured, voice as smooth as silk and twice as dangerous, “how long have you been lying to me?”
Wooyoung swallowed hard. “Lying about what?”
There was a blur of movement, too fast to react to, and then a hand was wrapped around his throat, lifting him off the ground as if he weighed nothing.
Hongjoong's grip was ironclad, his expression eerily calm. “Don’t insult me.”
Wooyoung choked, hands clawing at the king’s wrist, but he didn’t struggle. There was no point. Instead, he smirked. Even now. Especially now.
“What gave me away?” he rasped, voice strained but taunting.
Hongjoong’s grip tightened. “You reek of them.”
The air shifted.
And that’s when you realized—Hongjoong knew.
From where you hid behind the grand pillars, your breath hitched, heart hammering so loudly you swore they could hear it. You had told Wooyoung this was dangerous. That meeting in secret, letting him drink from you in exchange for money, was reckless.
But you never imagined Hongjoong himself would find out.
He tossed Wooyoung to the ground with little effort. The younger vampire landed hard, coughing, but he laughed.
“Let me guess,” Wooyoung said, wiping his mouth. “Jongho smelled it on me?”
Hongjoong didn’t answer. He only tilted his head, studying him like he was something to be dissected.
“You’ve been sneaking off into the human territories,” the king continued, slow and precise, “to feed off a single human. Not to kill. Not to drain dry.” His lips curled in distaste. “You let them live.”
Wooyoung licked his lips, sitting up. “Guess I got attached.”
Hongjoong’s eyes darkened. “You’re a fool.”
“Yeah, I’ve been told.”
The king’s gaze flickered, for the first time, toward the pillar you were hidden behind. Your blood ran cold.
Wooyoung must have noticed, because his body went rigid.
Hongjoong’s smirk was slow, deadly.
“Bring them out,” he ordered.
And just like that—everything shattered.
