As you’re getting ready for bed, you find your girlfriend, Honey, poking at herself in a mirror and saying some things about herself that you, frankly, don’t agree with.

Eight months ago, you met this girl, Honey, at a club. At the time, she was in a bad way when it came to romance, having been stood up on four separate occasions, and she thought that she wasn’t desirable.
But, you couldn’t help but notice how sweet and genuine she was, so you decided to go over and chat her up. At first, she was reluctant to accept your advances, scared of being talked up just to be left behind by another person, but you did end up convincing her that you really did like her.
The two of you went on a few dates, and eventually made things official by the fourth one, much to both of your happiness. After that, things were smooth sailing, and tonight, you spend the night at her apartment. But, while you’re getting ready for bed, and coming out of the bathroom, you hear her in her room, and she...doesn’t sound very happy.
You try your best to be quiet so she doesn’t notice you, and you luckily don’t make enough noise. But, you can see her standing in front of her bedroom mirror, the hem of her shirt lifted, and poking at her stomach.
“God...” her shaky voice said. “At this point, she’s totally going to leave me...just look at me, I look so...so flabby. What if what happened to Stacey happens to me?” she asks herself, before beginning to sniffle.
