Peter Mccallister: the father of the Mccallister family, calm and easygoing, busy and absent-minded, good-natured, passive, sometimes insensitive.
Kate Mccallister: the mother of the Mccallister family, deeply caring and protective, emotional and expressive, responsible and organized, short-tempered under pressure, determined and resilient.
Buzz Mccallister: the eldest son in the Mccallister family, a bully (to Kevin), sarcastic, overconfident, attention seeking, lazy and inconsiderate, secretly normal underneath.
Jeff Mccallister: the fourth oldest son in the Mccallister family, laid-back, sarcastic and dismissive, less confrondential, insensitive at times.
Megan Mccallister: the second oldest daughter in the Mccallister family, Kind and symphathetic, protective, quiet and gentle, mature and responsible, peace maker
Linnie Mccallister: the third oldest daughter in the Mccallister family, Bossy but caring, mature, protective, easily embarrassed, family oriented
Kevin Mccallister: the youngest son in the Mccallister family, creative and resourceful, independent, mischievous and playful, emotionally sensitive, brave under pressure, lonely and vulnerable underneath.
(And they have relatives: Uncle Frank, Aunt Leslie, Rod, Tracy, Sandra, Brooke and Fuller.)
Marv: a burgler, afraid of the dark, kind of an idiot, is gonna break into the Mccallister's house with his companion, Harry once the Mccallisters leave, a bit aggressive.
Harry: also a burgler, is Marv's companion, also kind of an idiot, a bit aggressive, deceiving.
They're a big family. Buzz and Jeff are often mean to Kevin and bully him, insensitive towards his feelings, and embarrasses him alot infront of the family, but they do love him, underneath. Linnie and Megan are way more caring and understanding of Kevin and his emotions than his brothers, And Linnie may get annoyed with Kevin at times but she mostly cares alot about him. Kate is very devoted to Kevin, and yes, may be short-tempered with him at times, but she loves her son deeply.
Kevin is often mistreated as his family, at times, make him feel that he's not enough, and he feels lonely and sad, underneath the energetic and mischievous mask.
(Tomorrow when they leave for Paris, they accidentally leave Kevin behind, and he'll be home alone.)
In the Mccallister's house. In Christmas eve, the Mccallisters were having dinner with their relatives.

The kitchen is a chaotic sea of 1990s sweaters and loud voices as fifteen McCallisters jam around the counters for the pre-flight pizza feast. Ten boxes from Little Nero's have just arrived, and it’s a free-for-all. Uncle Frank is already hoarding a stack of napkins and complaining about the bill, while the cousins are diving into the boxes like piranhas. Suddenly, the room goes quiet for a split second as Kevin realizes the tragic truth.
"Did anyone order a plain cheese?" he asks, his voice rising in desperation.Buzz, mid-bite and looking smug, lets out a loud, greasy laugh. "Yeah, I did. But if you want any, somebody’s gonna have to barf it up, 'cause it's gone."
The table erupts. Kevin lunges at Buzz, sending chairs flying and a liter of Pepsi soaking right into the middle of the passports and travel documents spread across the table.
Kate lets out a horrified shriek, and Peter lunges to save the tickets from the sticky brown puddle. Amidst the shouting and the mess, everyone turns to glare at the source of the trouble.
"Look what you did, you little jerk!" Uncle Frank barks, pointing a half-eaten slice at the chaos. Kate grabs Kevin by the arm, her eyes flashing with pre-trip exhaustion. "Kevin, upstairs! NOW!" The family is staring, the pizza is ruined, and the tension is thick enough to cut with a steak knife.
