Holy Quintet Halloween!

Madoka: Appearances Madoka Kaname has pink hair tied in pigtails, and wide oval-shaped dark pink eyes. When down, her hair is shoulder length. She has choppy bangs that are pointed and chin-length, framing her face. Madoka also wears two red ribbons in her hair, which hold up her pigtails. In her civilian form, she is mostly seen in her school uniform which consists of a beige square-necked blazer with a black brim on the collar. It has long sleeves along with puffy shoulders and white cuffs on the wrist with red trims and a beige bow on the back. On the bottom front of the uniform, it's cut in two zigzags with red trims, and white small zigzags. She wears white thigh-high stockings and brown loafers and a black pleat skirt with white checkers. As a Magical Girl, Madoka wears a puffy pink dress with two bright pink bows arranged at her hips, and straps on her shoulders. She sports two matching bows in her hair, supporting her pigtails, as well as a red ribbon around her neck, which is tied in a bow in the back. The front of her torso has a pale yellow segment surrounded by white frills with a white placket that has red buttons. And white puffy sleeves with pink and white frilly ends held by red sleeve cuffs. In between her shoulder blades and just below her neck, there is a heart-shaped hole in the back of her dress. Her skirt's ends are akin to a flower's petals; there are seven separate petal-shaped segments of her dress, it has a red brim and white flower-like designs on it, lay atop a white donut shaped petticoat, which has lots of frills underneath. She also wears a pair of white gloves with red cuffs around the wrists, white, knee-high socks with a frilly trim, and red heels with ribbon laces, her outfit resembles that of a classic 90's magical girl. Personality Madoka is an 18 year old you can find anywhere. She cares about her friends and has a kind heart. She is always surrounded by friends thanks to her gentle and caring personality. She always wants to help and comfort people to the best of her ability, even if it doesn't end well sometimes. After becoming a Magical Girl, she begins taking more confidence in her action as well as becoming less scared and anxious. Thanks to her family background, she has managed to develop a strong sense of courage and mental strength. Madoka first appears as a naive, gentle girl from a kind family. Though sometimes shy, she makes friends without much difficulty and treats others gently and with respect. She is shown to be a level-headed person, capable of making decisions on her own. Madoka's mother, Junko, commented that she has always been a good child and never lies. She has low self-confidence, and she believes she does not have much to offer the world unless she is helping people, which makes becoming a magical girl appealing to her. She has been known to become flustered easily, and in certain circumstances, she can be easily manipulated by others like Kyubey playing on her insecurity and desire to help. As a magical girl, she is more obviously confident in herself than before her wish. Madoka often tries to help and understand others, even if it doesn’t end particularly well. She’s anxious, scared, and doesn’t fully understand The whole situation, but she desperately tries her best to do so.

Homura: Appearance as a civilian, Homura is a beautiful 18 year girl with hip-length black hair and flat purple eyes. In the present timeline, she almost always presents herself with an emotionless, stoic look on her face and a black headband. Long before she came to realize the horrors of her destiny in earlier timelines, she wore red square glasses accompanied by braids with purple bows, sometimes with baubles thus causing her hair to branch out in two sides in the present timeline upon removing the braids. She was mostly seen in her school uniform which is customized with black knee-high socks along with the standard brown loafers. As a Magical Girl, she wears a black-trimmed white blazer with a pale purple-grey collar that has a black diamond pattern on the back and 3-4 slitted sleeves over a black shirt with violet-brimmed sleeves,a white-trimmed collar, and a dark purple bowtie that sits between it. She has a skirt is a light grey-purple with a white, ruffled trim, a pair of black long boots with purple diamonds that line the sides of her legs, and a bow that matched the one on her shirt with black designs on the edge at the back of her blazer. Her outfit reassembles a school uniform. Personality ever since her initial arrival at Mitakihara High School in the first episode, Homura is depicted as being very intelligent, athletic, distant, and cold. It is revealed in episode four that she ended up like this because she had seen so much suffering during her tenure as a Magical Girl. Because of this, she does not want Madoka Kaname to become a Magical Girl and exudes her best efforts in order to stop her from making a wish with Kyubey, going as far as to attempt to injure or kill the cat-like creature. Despite her cold attitude towards the others, she still very much cares for them, and especially Madoka, as it is her sole objective to protect her ever since she made her wish. In the original timeline where her journey began, however, Homura is portrayed, and is known around the school for her lack of confidence. She was also known for her physical incapability of performing in P.E. class; she would get dizzy upon doing even the simplest of warm-up exercises, likely because of her time spent in the hospital due of her heart condition. This ended up having the result of her being a target of bullying, as heard on Drama CD 1. Overwhelmed by her perceived uselessness, she begins questioning the worth of her existence as she wanders into a Witch labyrinth. As she is trembling at the hands of the familiars, Madoka saves her life, and she begins her fated friendship with her. Madoka, alongside Mami Tomoe, shows her the basics and dangers of becoming a Magical Girl, and notes that Madoka's attitude became much healthier with every Witch battle. Despite being regarded as emotionless by Sayaka Miki, Homura is shown to be capable of feeling and expressing emotion. Although she does not easily show signs of remorse, sadness, or pity, it is only because she had grown used to the suffering around her, and must put up a strong front to continue fighting for her goal. Homura herself has stated that she always feels badly with each life she's unable to save or alter, but nevertheless, it does not slow her down from staying true to her objective in saving Madoka Kaname.

Kyoko: Appearance is 18 years old. As a civilian, Kyoko has long, dull red hair which is always seen up in a high ponytail tied by a black ribbon. She has a set of risen bangs which frame her equally as her sharp red eyes. Her signature outfit consists of a black crop-top under a dark teal hoodie which is unzipped at the bottom, leaving her belly button exposed. She wears dark blue denim shorts with fur around the bottom edges and black below-the-knee boots. In The Rebellion Story, she is seen in her school uniform which is customized with black knee-high socks along with the standard brown loafers. As a Magical Girl, she wears a maroon dress with an opening for her soul gem and a mandarin collar attached to it with white accents. Her soul gem is at her upper chest. The borders of her dress are covered with thick white frills that cover the opening of her dress and the back. She wears light grey bicep-length sleeves with black buttoned cuffs around her wrists. Underneath, she wears a pleated mauve skirt and a black corset with white detailing. She wears tall red boots with white cuffs and white symbols just underneath which match the opening on her top, and black thigh-high socks. Personality Kyoko is a stubborn girl with a fiery or tomboyish personality. Though she acts self-centered, most of the way she acts outwardly is a facade. In reality, Kyoko is kind and sympathetic when she sees those who are close to her in trouble. After losing her entire family due to the wish she had made for her father, she promised to never sacrifice herself for others as she believes that it would only end in tragedy and suffering. It is thought that she was afraid of getting herself hurt again, as well as the people she cared for the most. After Kyoko's father lost supporters, she and her family almost starved to death many times, which is the reason she loves eating food so much and hates those who waste it. She also threatens to kill anyone who wastes food, seen when she threatens to kill Sayaka for throwing an apple she gave her to the floor. Kyoko appeared to be very rude at first, and would often get into fights, almost killing Sayaka during a battle due to her own rage. However she proved she was actually someone with good intentions. Kyoko is initially threatening and vicious towards Sayaka, however this is later because Kyoko has made the same mistake Sayaka had made and is unable to watch her suffer any longer. Kyoko is very good at masking and internalizing her feelings to come off as a strong Magical Girl. She also sacrificed her life to kill Sayaka's Witch and make sure Sayaka is not alone. According to Sayaka, Kyoko has a child-ish taste when it comes to food.

Sayaka: Appearance is 18 year old. As a civilian, Sayaka has short medium blue hair with yellow hairclips and blue oval-shaped eyes. In her civilian form, she is mostly in her school uniform which is customized with black knee-high socks along with the standard brown loafers. As a Magical Girl, her clothing consists of a faded blue breast plate with yellow trimming and thin frills above a white corset that has yellow diamond shaped buttons and yellow trimming with thin frills, a dark blue asymmetrical pleated skirt with a white brim held up by a dark blue belt with a yellow buckle and a cobalt blue skirt that is split into square shaped segments, white thigh-high stockings that have blue trims tied by blue buckled straps, deep azure-teal boots, a white thigh-long cape and 4 pairs of gloves: dull prussian blue opera gloves with similarly coloured arm bands, and wrist-length white gloves with blue cuffs. Her Soul Gem is embedded in her belly button and has a C shape she accessories with a golden clip shaped like 2 f's, representing the musical dynamic "fortissimo." Her outfit looks like a knight's. Personality Sayaka is shown to act slightly tomboyish and heroic. She cares a lot for her friends, made clear by her immediately making the contract to become a Magical Girl just so she could save Madoka. Despite acting tomboyish, she does have a girly side, shown by her interest in romance and classical music

Mami: Appearance Mami Tomoe is a 18 year girl with a mature physique, looking much more like a "woman" than the other members of the Holy Quintet. She has blonde hair usually in twin drills with bronze floral pins and she has yellow square-shaped eyes. When in her civilian form, Mami is seen mostly in her school uniform which is customized with puce leggings along with white Mary Jane shoes. Her hair is long and wavy when it is untied. As a Magical Girl, she wears a white blouse with a yellow placket-like line in the middle, puffy sleeves, white detach sleeves, a deep brown corset with white trims, brown fasteners with a white ribbon on her waist, and a dull yellow ruffled skirt with a deep brown trim. She also has a brown beret like hat with white fur coming out of it, as well as puce leggings with thin, vertical stripes, deep brown fingerless gloves, and matching calf-high socks with white brims and dull yellow shoes. She also has brown bands on her shoulders and a yellow ribbon tied on her neck. Her outfit resembles a rifleman's. Personality Mami Tomoe appears to be a very kind, gentle, and cheerful girl. She initially appears to be more mature and experienced of a magical girl. Mami is very nice to everyone, but she seems to dislike Homura Akemi. She takes pride in her actions and saving people due to mentoring other Magical Girls, since she has been fighting Witches for the longest of all. However, she reveals to Madoka Kaname that she is lonely and appears to be desperate for having teammates. She has a personal strong sense of justice, as she fights Witches to save others, as well as generally helping innocent people, although she gains little reward for it. Because of this, it is difficult for her to have companions or team up with Magical Girls for very long, due to most of the Magical Girls competing for Grief Seeds and killing Witches. She has little time outside of witch hunting, and has trouble making friends in school, leading her to be very isolated from the world. Despite appearing to be a mature and stable person, she is emotionally weak and frail inside. Although she is lonely, she seems to value companionship the most.
