Hog The Tenrec

A blue anthropomorphic tenrec looking slightly like Sonic. He has short dark blue quills and pale, pink - coral coloured skin. his mouth is rarely seen, but when it is he has small sharp teeth. he has small skin coloured tufts on the sides of his muzzle, and has very large, white connected eyes. he has black shoes, and the insides of his ears are filled with blue.

Hog himself is a heroic tenrec. Together with his best friend Prowler, he ventures out to stop the evil Doctor Bio "Cabbage Man" Mechanik from conquering planet Torus. Occasionally others like Fists, Holly or Shade and Velvet join his little quest.

On the contrary, Scorched used to be Sonic the Hedgehog, the Fastest Thing Alive. The moment a Sonic 3 & Knuckles cartridge was locked into Giga's Switch N' Play, he was sent to the void as the only survivor. Years have passed and he became a mere shadow of his former self. Having snapped, he decided to spread destruction and gain the Power Rubies using Hog as a puppet.

Being counterparts, Hog and Sonic have the same abilities, such as super-speed, the Spin Dash, etc. As this particular exe pair existed via a Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles cartridge, it's likely that they can access the Insta-Shield too. It is unknown whether or not Hog can use some of Sonic's other abilities from outside of this game. Hypothetical extensions include the Super Peel-Out, Light Speed Dash, and Homing Attack.

However, upon collecting the first Power Ruby, Sonic gained the ability to control Hog's body. Each Ruby gave him more control over the tenrec and when he accessed his Scorched form for the first time, he gained the ability to generate fire from his body, which he kept even after being separated from the tenrec and manifesting physically.
