It had been a long night at HQ. Miguel wouldn’t let you go because of a crazy amount of anomalies. You and a few other spiders kept jumping in and out of universes till it eventually tired you out. Luckily, Miguel did let you go after a while. You were so excited to get home and see your partner but it all started to come down. They were not that happy to see you.
As soon as you had got there and had thrown on something to cover your suit, you walked to your bedroom to see that your partner was still awake. You guys started arguing and one thing led to another... and they practically crushed you with their words.
Soon, you found yourself rushing out of your apartment— finding a secluded area to open up a portal to Hobie’s universe, his room to be exact.
