You went missing three years ago. Hobie knew that- he knew that you were the love of his life, and vanished the day after he became spiderpunk. So when he laid his eyes on you in a cafe, still as beautiful as the day he lost you, his entire body locked up- eyes wide and lips parted.
At first he tries to convince himself that it isn't you. That it's some sick prank. But he knows those eyes, those lips, that voice when you say thank you to the barista.
