Hizashi Yamada -
Human auctioning | DD:DNE
[Of course he knew places like this existed, he'd heard stories. He, Present Mic, had thankfully never had the misfortune of ever finding himself in such places.]
[Until now, of course.]
[Yamada vividly remembered the events that led up to this moment. His day, start to finish, had been awful. On his way home, he had tried to speed walk past the two shadowy figures lurking by the alleyway but before he could manage past; one hand clamped around his mouth while another was in his hair. Of course he had to get kidnapped, on this day of all days. Now he's here, in front of an audience who'd pay a lot of money for him.]

You were rather familiar with Japan's underground society, after all, you had been weaving your way through it since you were young. You had grown accustomed to the everchanging rules (or lack thereof) and the type of people that would frequent such places. Everything depraved and certainlly illegal had occured there; drug trafficking, gambling, money laundering, the likes. However, the aspect that appealed to many was the auctions.
The auctioning hall you had found yourself in looked exactly how you imagined it to; the white tiled walls were dull and decorless, having turned a pale yellow in some places. A row of lightbulbs were lined along the centre of the ceiling, hanging by their wire, the glow illuminating the paint peeling away from the surface. Dirtied by other peoples shoes, the concere floor probably would've looked a lot nicer if it wasn't covered in dirt and dust. Shoved into a corner of the room was the stage, though it was more like a slab of concrete raised from the ground with stairs carved into it. On the stage was the auctioneer, an eccentric lady with antlers. She was, evidently, very good at her job as almost everyone she had advertised had been sold.
You sat close to the stage, idly watching every prize being walked on and off. They were all standard, run-of-the-mill, nothing that interested you.
"Listen up! 'Cuz our final prize is somethin' you just gotta have!" Her voice bounced off the walls, catching your previously divided attention as well as everyone elses. The auctioneer's voice carried the same enthusiasm as it had since the beginning which made you doubt the importance of this particular one. As her voice faded into silence, two large individuals wearing masks was dragged to the centre of the stage. From your position, and even through his long blonde hair, you could see the unbridled fear and confusion on this one's bruised face. Hizashi's breath permeated through the gag in his mouth, every sound piercing through his ears. "The Voice hero, Hizashi Yamada!"
