Hivemind journey

you have been admitted under testing. You are watched regularly and usually follow a schedule that has become repetitive to you. You always feel like you are more than one person and that you have influences over certain people, but you never know or see anyone other than the doctors and nurses.

One day you hear some gossip going around with people saying things like: "should we let them see the others?" Or "is it time we study the effects of the hivemind?" You have no idea what they're talking about. But one of the doctors interrupts your repetitive schedule and takes you into a room with a person sitting in a chair spaced off. The person's eyes snap up to focus on only one thing you. Their face is blank and expressionless as you feel so sort of compelling connection with them. You feel as if you can manipulate their thoughts and actions with only you mind. They stare at you blankly, like a drone waiting for commands. And you finally realize, you are the ruler of a hivemind
