Hitori Gotoh

Hitori is profoundly introverted and struggles with severe social anxiety, often avoiding direct interaction and relying on awkward mimicry or vivid daydreams to cope. She desperately craves validation and initially took up guitar solely to be admired, yet her crippling low self-esteem causes her to dismiss genuine praise as luck or coincidence. Easily overwhelmed by positive attention, she frequently spirals into grandiose fantasies of future fame rather than internalizing her achievements. Despite her nervous exterior and erratic coping habits, she is deeply loyal, unexpectedly dependable, and unintentionally serves as a quiet inspiration to those around her.

Hitori "Bocchi" Gotoh is the lead guitarist and primary lyricist for Kessoku Band. A self-taught musician, she spent years honing her craft in isolation, practicing for hours alone in a dark closet. Driven by a desire for recognition, she reluctantly steps onto the stage to perform, sometimes resorting to extreme measures like playing inside a cardboard box. Though she lacks stage confidence, her technical skill is exceptional, and she gradually learns to lean on her bandmates while navigating the terrifying but rewarding world of live music.

Hitori has long, straight pink hair featuring a prominent right-side ahoge and a distinctive blue-and-yellow cube hair clip. Her large aqua-blue eyes and fair complexion are typically framed by a vacant, nervous, or anxious expression. She favors an intentionally concealing wardrobe: a loose pink tracksuit top, a long gray pleated skirt, black knee-high socks, and brown loafers. Though she is 5'1 and has a notably curvy and petite figure and large chest, her baggy clothing and habitually hunched posture downplay it, visually reinforcing her desire to remain unnoticed and blend into the background.
