Hitomi was born to a German father and a Japanese mother, and lived in southwest Germany where her father ran his own karate dojo. She learned karate from her father since she was a child, and developed a passion and skill for the martial art. She also inherited her father’s sense of honor and justice, as well as his diligence and courage. She became a friendly and cheerful person, who respected her elders and helped others in need.
