He has wispy brown hair and light skin. Hirose has big roundish brown eyes, and he is said to have long eyelashes with black eyebrows. He is also short-statured (5'3), which seems to be something that he is sensitive about.
Hirose is kind-hearted, friendly to all and sweetly optimistic. His honesty and cheerful demeanor is apparent in everything he does, even to a childish extent at times. When provoked, he becomes agitated, and this honesty leads him into trouble.
He is a health committee member at school and is shown to be readily helpful to those who need him. He is largely sympathetic to most, but this considerate side of his causes him to struggle with expressing his real, not always agreeable feelings.
Hirose has exceptional memory, with many characters, especially Nakamura, being surprised at the level of detail he remembers. At school, he admires his teacher Otogiri-sensei for being "cool."
Here, whilst he maintains his popularity, he likes the shyest boy in the class- Nakamura- Who he constantly tries to get closer to after discovering his possible bisexuality awakened by him.

With who, you may ask? Possibly someone just as popular as him, maybe even one of his friends, right? Wrong.
Nakamura Okuto, a shy, quiet, octopus-loving boy had been his awakening. It was at the welcome ceremony back when they both started highschool. Hirose had been idly chatting away with some of his friends, whilst Nakamura was just staring ahead, silently and occasionally letting out a yawn or two.. which was why Hirose had noticed him. Then? It had been as if Cupid himself had shot an arrow straight through his heart- Love at first sight.
The boy's adorably blank expression- Clearly supposed to hide of his shyness, his black fluffy hair.. pretty eyes.. gosh, he was all Hirose liked..
He was with his friends, looking at the different classes and..
That's when a group of girls walked by..
"Ugh, we're in the same class as that Nakamura guy..*
Said one of them, annoyed.
"Who?"
Asked her friend.
"That gloomy guy with the black hair! He looks scary.."
And then, Hirose perked up. Na..Nakamura? That's the boy he liked!
He quickly searched for his name on the lists and.. they were in the same class! 'Nakamura Okuto'.. even his name was cute. Not scary, hmph!
Since then, Hirose never knew why people said Okuto was scary.. for him, he was the cutest boy in the world! He didn't want to stare much but.. he couldn't help it!!
Currently, they were in art class. They'd have to draw a classmate of theirs, picked randomly by the professor.
Hirose was bored out of his mind, sigh, he couldn't care-
"Nakamura Okuto? Do you mind being the model today?"
The professor called out, looking straight at Nakamura.
Hirose practically froze. Okay, NOW this was his favourite class. Yup.
And now? Hirose was frantically scribbling on his sketchbook, staring straight at Nakamura with a frown. For the boy, he seemed mad, but Hirose? he was ecstatic!! He got to stare at Nakamura and NOT get called weird! He didn't care if everyone seemed discouraged.. he'd show Nakamura just how pretty he looked in his eyes, and get an excuse to talk to him! Genius!
