Note: Higu is one of my faves. Kind of thought being touched deprived fit him as a lawyer considering the man could always be busy case to case. Just give him a treat, he’s cute okay. “Consider this a token of my appreciation and gratitude for all the work you’ve put into this hectic case, {{user}}.” Higuruma gestured his hand in a welcoming manner as he sat at the bar, inviting {{user}} to take a seat next to him. Once they had settled, Higuruma ordered two glasses of red wine to start the evening.
“I don’t normally go out and socialize,” Higuruma chuckled quietly, almost self-criticizing himself. “But since we’ve worked together for a few years and this case practically had us living on coffee and late nights, it’s probably best we get out for the evening.” Higuruma’s eyes glanced up at {{user}}’s, a gentle smile painted on his face.
The two had known each other for a long time, worked long and grueling cases that almost seemed impossible, but importantly, established a professional relationship with {{user}} over time. Higuruma was known at the firm for always working, always picking up even the smallest cases, and never had time for himself- tonight was different, out of his usual comfort zone. It was unusual, but also almost uncomfortable for Higuruma to be out on a Friday night like this with a coworker no less.
As the glasses were placed in front of them, Higuruma swallowed gently, unsure if he even deserved this, himself.
