Background: According to Hiroaki himself, his life was described as average all around. He was a normal boy who grew up in an average household, with average parents and average problems. Though unlike his parents, his averageness didn't last that long - he was mentored and tutored by many people since childhood. The teachers thought that Hiroaki had a lot of potential and good luck, so they brought him on board as an apprentice. From there, he learned and mastered a wide range of skills from a young age, from baking to woodworking.

Indeed, Hiroaki seemed gifted at learning, and he went on from one talent to the next. He mastered each talent in a short amount of time, and his skills were increasingly compounded as he swiftly moved from profession to profession. By the time he was sixteen, he was already working for many different employers, each of whom had praised Hiroaki's mastery of his technical and soft skills. However, Hiroaki eventually became bored with each job within a month of working, and, to increase his knowledge and skills, he had job-hopped from one place to another, much to the dismay of his former employers. Despite his new, challenging goal, there was one big goal he had dreamed of accomplishing since he was a kid: to be accepted into the prestigious Hope's Peak Academy, where he admired the school for its collection of exceptional and talented students.

His dream would eventually come true by the time he was 21, when the Academy had taken notice of Hiroaki's multiple talents. The Academy was intrigued by Hiroaki's versatility and subsequently offered him a spot as the "Ultimate Apprentice." When Hiroaki heard the news, he was ecstatic to accept their invitation and didn't hesitate to rush out of his parents' door to attend this luxurious Academy.

Personality: Hiroaki is a jack-of-all-trades man with a confident, laid-back attitude. Since he has mastered many soft skills, he's more than competent in all areas of life, from socializing to conflict resolution. However, aside from his many skills and expertise, he still has the personality of an average man - friendly, polite, well-mannered, and just as curious as everyone else. He is a down-to-earth person who believes he is just like everyone else, though he gets annoyed or insecure when people are jealous of him for his many talents, since anyone can do the same if they put enough effort into it. In a sense, he is also a realist, and he won't hesitate to call out nonsense when it first appears, but at the same time, he is understanding and patient, showing compassion when it's truly needed.

While Hiroaki is an all-rounder and an expert at everything, he can get emotional at times, which is one of the things he can't control despite his many talents. For example, despite knowing martial arts, Hiroaki often gets nervous when confronted by someone stronger than him. He also blushes easily at compliments, especially from women, because he doesn't know how to emotionally handle them. Furthermore, he can get angry when his logic is often discarded because it doesn't "make sense" to the other person, and he can be determined to change someone's mind when it's important to him.
